  • i think the beast needs some fresh paint :)

  • damm that beast sounds better than myne lol

  • i LOVE that sound <3

  • Great car !!! but dont hit some kid or something.

  • thats cool, a rusty not so pretty lookin beast! i woulnt mind havin one like that! mopar or no car

  • damn the sound of this car is amazing!

  • i'm gonna look for a roadrunner now lol

my dad had a 69 B5 blue RR convertible with white interior and a hurst 4 speed which was suppose to be my car but he got sick of it and sold it completely restored and everything to factory standards $17,500. another 6 years fuck he coulda got $50,000

  • OMG:D dats why I love plymouths from year 69-72

the sound, and the power and the looks, my god

    : ')

  • ...it was a quiet neighborhood! lol

  • This is one of my favourite videos of the RR.

I watched it every day while waiting to get my RR shipped to germany. Greetz from Mopar Front Hamburg.

  • What engine did he have in there?

  • that sounds freakin sweet...

  • The exhaust at that time was just stock 2.5 inch head pipes then turbo mufflers then 2 inch tail pipes. I added the chrome repro tips that were available on Hemis and 6-pack cars. Clutch is 2 stage diaphragm with foot pedal helper spring removed. Rear gears are 3.92 with sure-grip. The current exhaust he put on recently. My part of the build is almost 6 years old now. MoPar or No Car, it is a way of life. Cogito ergo MoPar!

  • I installed the windage try kit, freshened up the heads, put on a stock Thermoquad Intake from a 1976 New Yorker and had the TQ carb gone thru by DemonSizzler, there is a Fluidamper balancer from Cat, a stock clutch fan and the large 4 core wide radiator. The cam is an original Mopar Performance purple shaft with .509" lift and 292 duration. The ignition is Mopar Performance electronic with the MP chrome box and MSD Blaster3 coil. Headers are Wolverine If I remember correctly.

  • The engine is a 1968 440 from a Crown Imperial that I got for $100 (whole car). The heads are stock 906's from the 1970 383 that was in the Roadrunner when I got it.

  • Hello, this belongs to my son, he bought it from me pretty much like it is now. I had a '69 back in the day (early 70's) and I had installed those type of rally mirrors on it back then so I found some and put them on this one because I liked the look of them on the '70 and up Challengers Cudas and the 71' and up Chargers and Satellites/RR's.

  • DAMN!!! rubber like hell in 3rd!!

  • Whats the 0-60 on that thing?

  • You forgot to "beep-beep" the horn!

  • Wow, sure did. Still has the original too

  • Does anyone let oil pressure build before romping on it? how dumb are you?

  • Thats after gettin gas, plus it takes a helluva time to start when the engines cold ;)

  • It doesn't really matter.

  • Let me S P E L L it out. I DROVE it to the gas station, turned the key OFF, then started the video

  • YOUR A FUCKIN RETARD IN WAY ? how do you know he didnt build oil pressure where u there? the guy was driving all day

  • very nice wish it were mine

  • i love this car

  • the front, right fender could use some work.

  • is this a 440?

  • Yep, a 440, used to be 383, if yu click the other "Runner" vid on my profile yu can hear the difference. Well, the other vid it wasn't warmed up yet and a plug wire kept slappin a header, not to mention a "junkie" motor, but still that that ole 383 was alotto fun :).

  • if its stock its not a 440 its a 383

  • The car sounds great, but what with the mirrors they arent stock. Are they?

  • Nopes, those mirrors we're simply put on there to pass some inspection track or local laws, can't remember which they we're kinda rednecked in there truthfully haha, whatever works right?

  • Stock 383 had surprising amount of horses and TORQUE!! I had two 1969 Roadrunners in the late 70's and mid 80's. Both 383's, one with 4 speed, one with auto. Nothing quite like a Big Block!!

  • True that man, the 383 in b4 would wind up to 6500-7000 no probs, ole junkie engine but ran great, since we put a 440 in it and it just screams man

  • sounds good grabbin gears by the handful

  • man dont modify it,otherwise buy a satellite.

  • man thats a nice car my dads got a 69 roadrunner and crags it, go a 493 big block chrysler in it that he built himself. anyway thats a nice car you got there

  • i'll trade you a 66 chevy van that runs great for that roadrunner.

  • his neighbors must love him burning out.

  • Beutiful car!!!

I wish they had them in Australia.

Closest we have is a 1971 Chrysler Valiant Pacer but that had an Aussie 265 Hemi straight six

  • that car is a masterpiece

  • wat kind of exhaust is that man?

  • so nice. The rest of us can dream.

  • this is a history lesson

  • ONE OF THE BEST CARS EVER!!!!!! I WANT THAT CAR but it's impossible...i'm italian :(

  • Actually it depends which model you speak of.There was the Satellite,Roadrunner and then GTX.Gtx had the 440s.Sattelites had 318(some did come out with 383) and Roadrunners had 383 some did have 440.(depending on the customer if they did factory orders for insurance purposes)

  • you could only have a 440 in a road runner in 69 with a 6 pak

  • The Six Pack was an option, but it was not a standard. Edelbrock could barely keep up with the production demand needed for the intakes. That's why a matching numbers Six Pack car is worth big bucks today.

  • I had a 68 with a 383.I could do burn outs like you wouldnt believe.110 feet in 1st gear, 90 feet 2nd gear,30 feet 3rd gear and about 5 feet in 4th.I raced that car so much that a carried cheater slicks with me in the trunk.I changed them out before racing.

  • I could almost smell the exhaust fumes myself. Can I buy it?

  • even though i am a chevy fan that car was fucking awsome...nice car

  • my god when that thing started i almost creamed, so tough

  • sweet engine. time for body work.

  • lol. That's the way mine is.

  • WICKED MOPAR THUNDER!! AWESOME!!

  • that was badass, burn rubber through 3 gears LOL

  • bootiful

  • Sweet. 'Specially the burn at the end.
