I wondered upon seeing this sketch if they were refering to the half price pot place in the Fulham road! My brother and i would always comment on the seemingly never ending half price pot sale, for many years, on our way to and from Stamford Bridge.

Alas the pot shop and it's half price wares are now no more.

But they do still have some lovely full body scanners that nobody wants anymore ,that you can use to radiate your whole family with, especially those that you don't really like, so you can get rid of them. Maybe that makes for a nice christmas gift.

In reality, roughly about the price they are selling them for. Much like the half-price and double-discounted sofas from SCS and DFS are also being sold at their full price.

Has anyone ever bought a *full* price sofa from either of those stores? Can you buy full price sofas from them given that they always have a sale on (the current sale for at least one of them ends this Sunday according to the TV ads, but I'm sure they'll have a new sale starting on Monday).

Yeah, you're right. People can be so taken in by the whole "half-price" thing that they don't realize - they don't actually know the "full price".

I'd shop at a "half-price" store if the products were good...but hell, I'd probably just be a grinch & spoil it for any of my friends who genuinely think they're getting a discount. Hahaha.
