We have a house in the city she is we have not had any problem other than a fight from a cat but now they play she is a small cat only about 3 pounds haha okay she is very small but everyone likes her but one person will spray her with a water hose but she learned her lesson she does still hunt but has lots of people friends she greets anyone in our house but I understand you protecting your point there is always facts but along with facts comes with exceptions I will take your point seriously.

@REWYRED - BBQ, cat shit, being nosy - heck anything would attract those trailer park trash (TPT) neighbors. Malarkie2 has a heck of a lot more patience than I would. I have two indoor only cats. Would never be so inconsiderate to let them run loose and shit on someone's yard. Not to mention that outdoor cats pick up diseases, get run over by cars, harrassed by kids, etc. If you love your cats and aren't a lazy TPT piece of shit you keep your cats inside - period.

Another alternative is to trap them and then turn them into the SPCA. Cats should be indoor animals anyway. I have 2 and I would never be so disrespectful to let them run all over the neighbors yards. I think the water scarecrow is a good idea. Would also add a fence or gate to fully enclose your yard - it won't keep the cats out but if the neighbors come in then it's tresspass and you can have them arrested

@PullenJoe No! Tried that. The cats are micro chipped and she gets a call or she goes there to look for them and the trapped cats is back loose crapping on my lawn the same day!

@malarkie2 - well then your only alternative is to make sure the yard is closed off with gate/fence of some sort - again it won't keep the cats out but will at least keep the nosy neighbors out because if your yard is closed off and you have a no tresspassing sign posted facing outward and they come in you can have them arrested. I also suggest more of those cool sprinklers - great idea to keep the cats away without really hurting them.

Fact 2 - you are either an idiot, inconsiderate of your neighbors, or not a good cat owner if you let them run loose. I've had cats all my life and all have been indoor cats only. People who let their cats roam free are nothing more than lazy (because they don't want to invest the time a cat/pet needs) irresponsible pet owners and inconsiderate neighbors.

@AmericanPitbulls1 - would agree the one exception is if you live in the country on a lot of land. Cat's in cities and areas with a lot of houses close in are not a good idea for roaming outside. While I respect your opinion based on your own personal experiences, the facts (and they are facts) are on my side on this one. Indoor cats on average live far longer than outdoor cats.

@PullenJoe likes to stay outside more and she is crated indoors in storms or any king of weather that would make us doubt her safety plus I got here from a lady who was starving kittens and cats under buckets if she did not like the look she would kick any cats that got in her way so I saved Diamond as a 2 or 3 week old kitten and bottle fed her every 3 hours and have owned possums raccoons squirrels bear cubs snakes and many more and you question my animal knowledge ha really

If they don't fix the problem, the owners are the stupid ones. If they don't have a home, seek future owners or give them in to a reputable SPCA

Yes there is many municipal codes being violated but animal control and the city wont do a thing. animal control comes down here and say they cant see any cats and tell her she can have as many as she wants, against city codes that limit to 5. she has 18 in the house and dozens outside. no one will help.
