@jimmy82022000 You can order directly from local dealers or several eBay dealers from Taiwan sell simple parts like belts and rollers and such. for the heavier stuff like actual engine parts, you would have to go through the dealer or Carter Bros, the US distributor.
few nice extras...i cant help thinking you would have been better off with a sym citycom 250..? and the side lights would be better if they were a different colour from orange indicators...maybee a mauve or an icy white blue....more visible to car drivers then...
@golfmaniac007 It is a 2008 that I purchased in May 08 with less than 1 mile on it. Currently I have over 6300 miles on it and have not had a single problem since then. (except for a horn that shorted out at 750 miles--warrantied) Let it also be known that I don't baby this at all. There are a few people I know that have almost 20K on thiers and no problems have been reported
seriously thinking about getting one of these, it fit so well just sitting on it. Plenty of leg room for a person six one, nice taller feeling position on the bars. Not much storage but looks like it rides like a bike. I like what you have done to yours, thanks for all the videos!
One reads so many positive reviews about Sym's HD200. My only concern with this impressive scoot is it's overall braking distance due to it's rear drum. Anyone?
The rear drum is quite powerful on this scooter and will fully lock up the tire with one or two riders on dry pavement if you need it to. The best thing that I like is that if I have to ride in rain, I adjust the rear brake back a few notches so if I have to panic stop on wet pavement, it won't lock up and cause a skid issue.
Jeff, this is amazing. I have no idea why SYM doesn't have a cigarette lighter adapter as a standard feature under the seat or right about at the point that they have slots for fitting in the helmet straps at the most forward point under the seat. Great stuff on the lights!
You are my hero!
