hattons of liverpool are doing vi trains class 37's for £39 each !a selection of 4 and i have the ews version 37405,a very good model at lima 2000 prices !!
did u get a vitrans ews 37 from hattons if u did i hate u i wanted 1 but when i looked back the next day it was out of stock! but i spent £6 more on a British railway red stripe livery 37 its still awesome though!!
Ill check out 37131 next time I hit the model shop, I think the model press has been at bit harsh on Vitrains personally, They are getting better and seem to be listening to consumer feed back.
No its first generation which means no horns !! I also had to stick the yellow nose mouldings back on, but being lose was a bonus, it made it easier to paint the inside black to prevent the headlights bleading through the plastic. Runs well though, not much to compare with performance to my Bachmann 37.
I'm considering buying one of these 37s now that they are talking about bringing out a few more liveries. How do you think they compare to the Bachmann 37s???
There is not much difference in running, and to the casual glance they look about the same. On close inspection the Vitrains looks a little bit plasticy
Very good video
I'm about to buy a 37 class Vitrains mainline, I recommend it??
