Mafia games BLOW gta away...

Reason is they are by far more realistic especially the driving .the AI of the police is sooo much better in the mafia games and they dont feel like drones or that the game is ignoring any knid of real life limitations, but its not just that the shooting is better ,,,~((cover system) ..when u steal a car u have to work to do it....etc etc etc

conclusion Mafia blows Gta into the dust

Lol, you are using the Mafia II demo. Ignoiring that, I beleive mafia 2 has a much better story line and graphics and Gta 4 has much more oddball missions and sandbox aspect. If I could change mafia 2, I would make it so it has a freeplay mode after you beat the game (Like GTA) and some side missions.

I need some opinion about the gameplay here D: I completed mafia 2 and was so addicted but I've never really played GTA so I don't know what it's like, I just know that you have much more freedom and more available actions but is it worth it? Because it doesn't seem to have a storyline as solid and important as M2 and does it have an ending? I don't give a shit about graphics, all I ask is a few several opinions about the gameplay and why you think which is superior.

this is what im going to say..

Mafia2 gives you feelings for the other characters like Joe and henry, i almost cried at the end, and im not a emotional person.. GTA4 is good, i played it, but the controls did not suit me, and you could tell that they tried too hard to make it realistic.. especially with the cops.. Mafia 2 didnt try too hard, and they give you good missions that bad gamers like me good beat. i only beat 4 diffrent games, and i beat this game about 9 times already..

one thing that i really like in Mafia 2 that the cars doesn't repeat. I mean when you have one, you won't see 5 more in the next turn. But Mafia 2 doesn't have a Free roam... Cars controls in Mafia 2 is not realistic like in those times. Car crashes in Mafia 2 sucks, because if you barely hit other car, it should crash the lamp or something, but it destroys all hook.

Mafia 2 looks much better then this vid shows, everything is clear and crips. The music is great, takes you back to that time (even though some of it didn't come out for another 6years, but forgivable) Mafia 2 is very good loved it all, wish it had more free roam, but the $30-40 price tag was worth it.

Mafia 2 is it more things to do, and it's better quality, And it's a little bit more realistic, but it's not multiplayer, and trough the game is it just missions, you can go freemod, but it's still missions to do. And it's a little bit harder to drive. But on GTA IV is it Freemod AND missions! and it is 3 versions of it, so you can have more weapons,cars and other stuff! It's a little bit cool that you can have your own cellphone there too, and it's bigger map. and you can go Multiplayer! hmm...
