The chopper-gunship fix needs additional tuning... I called a gunship and a chopper, and couldn't control neither (nothing wrong with my controller)... A game later i called the chopper-gunship combination, and everything is fine... WTF?! D: I was screaming when my gunship randomly decides to go outside the map for a whole fucking minute T_T

@450o054 They tuned the snipers, so when you scope in now, your sight goes more stright to the middle of the crosshair. It feels amazing to dragscope on Black Ops atm. And try out ACOG sight if you have problems with the reg. sight and the variable scope.Btw, the most important thing with sniping on Black Ops is to not move while shooting, many people doesn't stop moving when they shoot, and when they try it out they own!Here's a great tutorial: /watch?v=rx0j-dhtGBU

The patch deceased the radius of the circle where the sniper shot randomly if the trigger was pulled before the .25 second period of randomization was up.

@djhes The sad part is that that's a game engine problem. They used their piece-of-shit WaW engine. Treyarch put too much of their engine power into breakaway grounds, opening/closing doors, rockets launching, and graphics and didn't actually pay enough attention to making the gameplay smooth and... playable.

They wouldnt have to patch the game so much and provide so much support if they just made it right to begin with. its been out for 5 months and its just now starting to be playable. but thats how the gaming market rolls I guess. It helps them find the bugs/glitches/problems easier, due to the high amount of players playing it and reporting bugs. Yes, this is what a beta is for, but at least they are fixing the current bugs at a pretty decent rate.

@poledancerz1 It isnt a bad thing but 5 months is a long time to deal with shit connections. I never had this much problems with MW2. I know OMA NUBE TUBES were an issue but It didnt bother me much. However what drives me nuts is I've now upgraded my internet 2 times and payed an extra 80$ to get an ethernet cord to allow my connection to show open nat type, thats crazy!! I didnt have this issue with MW2. Come to think of it, I always had 3 or 4 bar and never had a problem connecting. cheers.

You wanna know why Black Ops (in my eyes) is boring as hell? The game has so many problems. When Mw2 was released, it only had about 2 major probelms, care package and one man army. Black Ops has a whole variety of problems which is why they are constantly making patches for it. Mw2= One man army patch, Black Ops= A shit ton of patches.

they need to fix the chopper gunner spawn on summit. If you call in a chopper when ur on defense in demo, the enemy team can shoot you down without you deploying flares so literally a 2 second chopper, rewarding for getting nine kills

It feels like the sniper tuning made the L96 more powerful and the PSG1 a bit less [powerful to reflect the stats window. The PSG1 was ridiculous after the last sniper patch even though it said it was less powerful than the L96. Either way, they both still kill in one hit the majority of the time.

@G6OCean1990 The reason the m16 may seem to have very little recoil is because it has a cap of how many bursts you can fire in a certain amount of time, therefore allowing the gun to return to a normal position before you fire your next burst. As for the galil with an acog scope, the acog scope has more magnification than the red dot sight or the reflex sight or the iron sights, therefore amplifying the recoil. Just like using an infrared scope. I hope I was able to help, reply to this if I did.

With snipers they made it so you could quickscope. Now when you zoom in and shoot right away its on your crosshair, although if you dont shoot it still does that sway thing. Basically, the bullet goes where your crosshair is 90% of the time.

@bluecheesesteve No, they didn't. People really should read up on what happened. Activision wanted IW to cut jobs and lower the money they were paying them, essentially a loophole in the contract. Of course, IW was pissed and was battling this, and thus they couldn't release patches and updates like we wanted. They tried, but Activision was being pissy and wouldn't put things out so as to ruin their name for not doing as they wanted. Activision fucked up and Treyarch came godly to rape victims.
