I just thought I'd share that, because it seemed appropriate, given the title of this TV show.
That little poem was on a plaque, which for years was on the stove in the kitchen of the home of my grandmother (my Dad's mother) and two, maiden aunts.
That home was like a second home for my immediate family, where we'd often go for Sunday dinners, sleep-overs, and events such as the annual viewing of "The Wizard Of Oz" on TV.
Yes, it would be nice if you could upload the remainder of this episode, if you may obtain the video from the Borden family estate now that Marilyn has passed away.
one thing about 70's tv-that was the start of shows never getting a chance-i would always anticipate the tv guide fall preview issue-i still have the 1978 issue-another good show from the 80's-only 3 or 4 episodes-'frannie's turn'
it's a good thing this didn't go or we wouldn't have the Golden Girls

"Apple pie without some cheese
is like a kiss without a squeeze."

Well I thought it was funny. It is a shame it never took off, I would have liked to see more things with Rue McClanahan.

Apple Pie lasted only 3 episodes!

Supposedly it was victim of a management change at ABC(?). The new regime tossed out all the shows that *they* hadn't picked.
There were seven episodes shot; this is the only actual footage I've ever seen of it.
Quick clip of Caitlin O'Heaney, fresh from Broadway (and soon to go on to her signature role in "Tales Of The Gold Monkey") in the closing credits.
