  • the landing wasn't bad,it was really windy so he had to use more thrust!

  • under the circumstances I'd call that a damned good landing.

  • he flatened out on landing..thats the worst thing to do..you loose all good lift.. nose should have been up and throttle as elevator...drag it in. also way to fast!!!!!!..luckly it didnt start rocking when he landed on the nose...

  • Looks like a decent landing to me, especially in a bit of squirley winds. Pilot kept wing level and kept it on the runway after landing. A little bouncy, but that's why occupants are required to be belted on takeoff and landing.

  • That was a good landing. Change the title.

  • It's really the pilot who matters. hey are the ones who land the plane at least.

  • bad landing, if you can some thing about flying we use a word winsshare! maby read more about this befor upload good landings!, in bad conditions Reagards chieaf pilot Olav Moldestad Scandinavian airlines.

  • thought he did ok clearly very windy

  • bit fast init

  • I know it is not easy landing a massive jet on a small runway but I think he should have had some sense to go around, You can tell he is too fast by the fact his plane wants to rise so he is forcing it down

  • @Flyglobespan93 It does not mean that its going too fast. Its just some wind going up that rises it. In FSX weather conditions are nothing like real, even with worst weather it feels nothing

  • In my book, not bad at all in fact rather good under the prevailing wx conditions. Appears quite a bit of wind shear from about 300ft to touch down. If the writer of this post could do any better, let him try!!!

  • LOLOLOL I love how the pilot is revving the engines hahahahaha

  • Hey that's not a ba..... OUCH!

  • Nothing broke, landing wasn't that hard... yeah I'd aplaud the pilot who managed this.

  • show me the bad part. if you take into consideration the conditions it was a brilliant landing, all passengers survived and the pilot landed first time.

  • That was awesome...looser.

  • @AnkhorDraven ask me something about the Overhead or the pedestal or the main panel of the 757/767 series ;) i can't taki or take off a 757 but a cessna, i have the ppl! and my dad is a pilot on the 767-300 for United, and it's the same panel as the 757 has.

  • first and last choice

  • good job considering the windy conditions. Those who think it was a bad landing are wannabe pilots. Its definitely not as easy as it looks guys.

  • @chaddiekemp It wasn't good at all he dindn't even lift the planes nose before touchdown!

  • Considering the winds and gusty conditions, better than expected.

  • All which are saying the pilots are not good: FIRST: Go into a 757 Cockpit and tell me everything about it!! SECOND: Try first to taxi with it and take-off!!!! and THIRD: You guys have no fucking clue how to land in this wind conditions!!! Just shut the f*ck up!!

  • @GolfPlayer96 I doubt you can do any of those things either.

  • Yikes, not so comfy for passengers on board but I bet the pilot tried his best!

  • He was coming in too fast that if he would flare, it would go up. So he just stomped it down. And the wings had enoigh wind and the airplane hopped....causing a bad landing.

  • I think he stomped on the brakes too early and did a stoppy

  • The wind conditions look ominous... pilot did a good job... Shut up!!

  • the landing could of been better

  • Where is that

  • is their a pilot in that plane??????

  • Just watched this. That was a great landing in bad conditions. Video title should be changed.

  • The pilot was obviously correcting for wind conditions, and did a great job of it without over-pitching the wings. This was a fantastic landing.

  • The Pilot was taken by surprise by some heavy sheer during the last 20ft, they did well to recover the aircraft.

  • Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.

  • @mrmrkester that phrase is so overrated

  • @12alltel12 Its true!

  • think in those conditions its a bloody good landing!

  • Comment removed

  • o fırtınada sen uçamassın bile amk ne diyo bide

  • He kept the dirty side down, thats all that matters

  • hmm looks like a rough landing not a bad 1

he seems to be right in the middle of the runway

  • Any landing you can walk away from is a Good Landing in my book!

  • That was a good landing

  • crosswinds, i blame air traffic control for even clearing him to land

  • @JuanchoMan Bullshit, little hard landing like this is not danger to aircraft at all. Surely those crosswind conditions were perfectly below aircrafts max limits so its safe to land.

I blame you for making stupid comments.

  • That was not a bad landing the plane farted thats why the left gear lifted up!

  • I'd call that a good landing in bad conditions!

  • ehh , Second Choice...

  • it was smoooooooth in thise conditions!!

  • badd????no bad weather conditions...bad landing in aviation=crash

  • Brilliant landing in windy conditions!

  • Very Reasonable if not good landing for the conditions

  • How was that a BAD LANDING

  • @Zesh911xHD how is it a good landing?

  • Thats a great landing for that windy condition

  • Who cares about the title. Enjoy the damn video.

  • it was a good landing for that crosswind.

  • That was a crap landing

  • ist a small bit windy ;-)

  • hmm not really sure what to say about this landing. The only thing i see that could have been better is the little baloon he got after the first touchdown after which he got a huge load on his nose gear. Its funny to see al these comments where guys wanne show how good they are themselves.

  • Second choice landing

  • Not bad...Difficult

  • is this an ex- Ryanair pilot?

  • It was a very good landing! Look at the weather conditions!

  • woe that landing was so scary it nearly crashed i can land a plane much better

    than that

  • @TheAnneMarsh And I'm quite sure you're a check pilot with an airline too.

  • WOW!!!

  • amazing

  • Sterling job in those crosswinds I'd say, bet the passengers sphincters were going like rabbits noses though!

  • This "any landing" was started by bad pilots and kept up by bad pilots. I for one would never allow any pilot to fly my plane that makes bad landing a habit and I know more than a few. All the pilots that I know at a personal level feels the same way. As they say, only bad pilots con that " any landing you can walk away from", never mind the cost to the gear, etc...

  • @CaptainArt777 Another Flightsimmer steps up to the plate with a sum total of zero hours in a real plane. Maybe one day eh?

  • @ConradTheCruel Well kid, some day you need to grow up and stop putting down those that you disagree with. I come from a family of pilots and was raised in a plane. My dad is an retired 747-400 check pilot, my uncle just retired as an 777 pilot, my 2 older brothers are pilots.. My first plane ride was at 7months old when my uncle told me that my dad kept the rate to 400 up and down. I got my lic. at 17 and now have over 5000 hrs and rated in both the King Air 350 as well as the Citation 550.

  • @CaptainArt777 It's funny how everyone with thousands of hours does nothing but sit on YouTube and tell everyone how many hours they have and how everyone else is a terrible pilot and they would have done it so much better. Real pilots know all too well that it's damned easy to criticise and comment from the ground, but something else entirely when it's you at the controls.

  • @ConradTheCruel I don't know how old you are, but again you like to go on personal attacks about some one you know nothing about. I don't sit on you tube all day long and I doubt that you are a real pilot. Maybe with a few hours. Personal attacks are for losers, attack on the issues. That shows that you are a man. To many kids on here start with the name calling and personal attacks. I sit here with the kids if I am on or some one will ask me what I think of what was posted.

  • @CaptainArt777 captian does make a point

  • @pollypocket84848 Thank you for being a man. It is refreshing to hear this. So few do. If you're close to the LA area, will take you up in our Citation Ultra some time.

  • @CaptainArt777 i live in new york but if i ould i would go up.

  • he kept playing with the power.....and pushed the noes down just a bit too much.....not a good landing

and as a response to these people saying you walked away from it, yes you do and he safely did it, but pilots are just trying to critique other pilots to perform the best landing, every pilot takes something from everyones landings

  • looked like a good landing to me

  • to be fair it is very windy

  • Very gusty conditions, listen to the engines hunting trying maintain selected speed as each gust hits. Not unusual to "wheel barrow" like that due to the higher than optimum touchdown speed. (Gusty conditions require a higher speed approach)

All in all, well handled considering the conditions.

  • guys.... i think they call it a landing because ummm gee idk LANDing meaning your getting the plane on the ground. thats all that counts as long as everyone can walk away from it!

  • @DethTones

Nazi movements tend to be practiced most in america. I call famous gangs like arian brotherhood, nazi low riders. All americans.

What does bottleneck my mind is how a nazi fascist/racist could have had both the luxury/ambition/personality to train as a pilot and even be one.

You know what you sould do himmler251.

Go to a black country, sign up to the local aviation company to fly as a pilot, and fly a 747 full with blacks into mecca. Just a though, i hope i didnt brought you ideas

  • your passengers. That landing was atleast at 180knots. Kissing the runway with your front gear at that speed, that plane would be a pile of ash if that happened.

  • Now i cant tell any exact speed, but either the glideslop was to steep (it isnt, clearly isnt) or its aproaching to fast (which it clearly is)

    Yes bad landing,

It was like some casual guy was controlling the yoke.

Due to its overspeed his pitch was almost horizontal. Which in turn almost caused the front gear to reach the runway first, (which would have been catastrophic.

Just go around if you were unable to slow down on your aproach. Better doing that then risking your and all the lifes of

  • @Armigo91 Actually,

good landing. People got off the plane.

  • Sure isn't my first choice :)

  • where is that airport

  • The most Ironic title

  • ive had a landing a lil like that wasnt scary just a lil ... how to put this.... bumpy :L haha

  • that was actually a good landing, with the high winds, rain and SEA just behind you, there is hardly going to be "purfect wind conditions" are there?

  • better than i thought in heavy crosswinds

  • good landing..

  • I thought he did quite well to keep the thing under control when it pitched forwards and then up onto one wheel. Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing they say in training.

  • What.

  • remember landings are nothing but controlled crashes

LTC ( Ret ) Ralph P Aaron, US Army Cobra pilot

  • If you se the crosswinds you might think he done well

  • Waddya mean "Bad Landing"? Considering the obvious gusting crosswinds that was a superb landing! Believe me, as private pilot and frequent world traveling flyer for work, I've been through a LOT of REALLY BAD landings (but they haven't killed me yet)! I would have slept right through this one.

  • Definitely not the smoothest landing, but still a good one especially when compared to other vids of pilots trying to land a 757 in windy conditions. Try to find the vid with the KAL 773 landing in such conditions, that one is really bad.

  • I expected to see a bad landing, yes the nose wheel was on the ground while the main wheels weren't but the pilot pulled it back, no damage done. Looks like a perfectly good landing to me

  • Anal clencher!

  • Obrigado ;)

  • Belo registo Paulo, parabéns!

  • Great landing. Very bad conditions. clearly see jet blast, throttle to maintain aproach.

  • Perfectly fine looking landing to me given the conditions

  • An acceptable landing given the weather conditions. I assume that all those moaning about how "bad" it is have tried to land a 757 in those winds? ... like hell they have!

  • Looks fine to me.

  • A landing with the nosewheel on the ground and the main gear off it cannot be described as a good landing even though the conditions were challenging.

  • yes, great landing

  • Awesome landing, misleading title

  • @GuruAndrey Agreed... brutal winds. The pilot may have been coming in a bit too hot though...

  • Great landing considering the conditions :)

  • title should be bad choice 757

  • Thumbs down for another misleading title. Nothing wrong with that landing at all in that wind.

  • should have gone around!

  • Which airport is this?

  • @RichyJam2011

Porto Santo island a few miles north east Madeira Island in Portugal

  • @SylvesteR1285 Cheers. I wasn't too far off. I thought it was Tenerife North

  • looks like there is some serious crosswind happening there.

cant see any issues with the pilots landing.. crosswind landings can be very difficult and need to be controlled very carefully

    well done pilot

  • This is not my 'first choice' wenn they make this landing.

  • this is not a bad landing in these conditions at all

  • Not a good landing if you think, but hey, he didn't go off track, he didnt go sideways, he was just a bit slow to early, good landing!

  • how is this a bad landing? Excellent! Nothing happened to the plane so whats the problem? :P

  • @venividiviciboss

    Yeah! This is "a landing"!

  • Why you don't just stop the plane like Frinstone with the legs?xD

  • MY last choice

  • Comment removed

  • @Chrwii971 Fail.

  • @SonSan96 your mom is a fail.

  • @Chrwii971 You're a fail, 'cause you deleted your first comment.

  • good landing actually

  • It's a bit of an arrival but wth? They all walked away.

  • crosswind landing dude

  • great pilot, great landing,

  • good pilot,nice skill,fu**** wind!

  • It is a bad landing in deed; the plane jumps on the runway and touches with the front wheel.

But as pilots say, good landing is when you can step out of the airplane and walk away. Even better, If the plane can be used again :-)

  • Bad landing? Pfft. More like "bad video title"!

  • Misleading title.

  • bullshit!!! where is the bad landing? that was a great landing into the strong crosswind and windshear, please don´t talk if you don´t know!!!

  • ohh to high....

  • I have to agree with some coments, that was a very nice landing, strong winds on final, great job by the pilot.

  • 2nd choice now

  • I might have been a little bumpy for the passengers when the wheels touched down,, but then the weather looks bad, and that's quite normal. otherwise, the approach was near perfect.

  • Are you kidding? a bad landing? a landing like that with that much cross wind is pretty damn good! obviously you've flown a plane. Or have any knowledge of Aviation

  • Bad landing?? Whit these weather condition is a excellent landing

  • the captain has hit the brakes, but the planes still nose up

  • bounced off the front wheel. horrible. heavy wind though

  • @kami645464 Well it isn't the best landing, your nosewheel should never touch the ground before all of the rear landing gears, as it isn't designed to take that load and so could easily just collapse. But still it is obviously very windy so under the circumstances it is very understandable why it happened here.

  • No means to be a troll, but he should have treated it like a crosswind landing, he didn't land on his rear tires first and did not flare even one bit

  • I was on a first choice jet and did that at take off it was scary

  • he can do it better in his flight simulator.

  • If you can walk away from it, it's a good landing.

If you can walk away from it, and still use the plane, it's a great landing.

  • @TarrVlogs If you can walk away from it, and your pants feel funny, it's been an epic landing.

  • for wind conditions and such thats not bad, there is no such thing as a perfect landing.

  • for wind conditions and such thats not bad

  • that was a great landing in a corss wind. get new glasses dude

  • eh a little sloppy but really for all the wind there was i think it was very good.

  • It's not "Bad Landing".

    It's better landing.

    I like it.

    最高の着陸ですね。

    風が強いのに良く耐えたと思います。

    エンジンの出力の加減とかは上手いと思います。

  • It is said in the aviation world "That any landing that you walk away from is a good landing". But just how many 757's have you flown with a crosswind?

  • nothing wrong with this landing, ive been in a bad cross wind landing but it was still a good landing.bad landings are failed landings.

haha to much microsoft flight sim !!

  • Bad landing? People are idiots. The knucklehead that posted this as a bad landing probably is the best XBOX pilot ever.

  • in my opinion, a bad landing is one where the passengers are scared, and when it looks like this. if i were on that plane i'd be shitting my pants, and i wouldnt be flying with that airline ever again. if you think this is a good landing, you must have no desire to make a PERFECT landing.

  • @350z350zify Hey retard, what should the pilot do? Ask "god" if he can remove the wind while he lands the bird???

  • @JesperA86 nope, but you can do a go around.

  • okay people need to get the differences right. a safe landing is something like this. pilot landed, no one got hurt and plane is okay. a good landing would be that he used proper x-wind technics to counter act the wind land right back wheel then left then from.. just cuz you land on the ground doesnt make it a good landing. it just means you will get to fly agian. lets say you take of from one airport. get lost but some how find your way to your dest. good flight? no bad flight!

  • this is no bad landing......its actuly a great landing if u can walk away WITHOUT shittting ur pants and dieing welll then it s a great landing :D

  • It looks like wind-shear with tail component. It's sure a LUCKY landing, not a good landing. Not pilots' fault obviously

  • Amazing Landing in an extreme weather condition

  • Looked really windy therefore I say it was a pretty good landing.

  • he thought it was a bad landing because there was so much tailwind but that doesnt make it bad it was a great landing if it weren't for the pilots skills that plane could of crashed and blown up

  • firstly, the wind seemed be strong, secondly, the runway could be short, third, the landing was GOOD !!!!!!!

  • that is fucking amazing for the conditions it is in.

  • a landing is just a controlled crash...

  • @nevagonnadie2 No, it isn't.

  • @nevagonnadie2 no, it's not

  • @nevagonnadie2 Landing is the art form of aiming yourself at the ground and missing.

  • @nevagonnadie2

No, it's more than that, it's an art form.

  • hmmmm nose wheel 1st that's not good
