Yeah. It maybe the closest to a sim on any console at the moment, but try LFS, Rfactor, or Simbins games (GTR2, GTR Evolutio, Race 07 for example) on a PC and you will notice the differance.
naa i still have to say this game looks rubbish..i looked at a lot of gameplay footage and i feel sick lol..like wheres the realism when i guy is flying up the track ,smack the guy in front of him and the car stays rooted to the track ,u`d think he hit a tank...i`ve played better looking games on the snes :P
well i played a lot of racing games and the only ont to realy stand out is grid in my opinion its great online and the gameplay is outstanding,this game does not apeal to me at all its a poor mans grid,the cars look like there stuck to the track roll on "dirt 2",saying that to forza aint to bad .
well grid isnt really a proper arcade racer ..well like ridge racer ..Burnout Revenge..Project Gotham Racing,sega rally etc..i like a driving game that when ur drivingand u crash u do damage and ur out not like these "arcade" racers that when u hit a barrier u still keep going ..ok in this game can u flip the car over when u crash? thats what i want plenty of speed and when u crash "u crash" game over .

damage is on, just not doing a huge amount when the car rams into another, if more time was taken on the racing rather than doing the look round the car while racing i guess he wouldnt crash as much.
He hit the other cars pretty damn hard, and yet the car doesnt seem to be effected too much, if at all. And he had lots of big crashes. Must have damage turned off.
I hope they don't change the feel of their previous games too much on account of it being on a console this time around. But it will certainly be better than p.o.s TOCA Grid.
The last decent TOCA game was Race Driver 1 anyway , so that's not really an achievement.

If it is, then this video is not really proving it. Don't get me wrong, the game looks fun. But from what I can see, it's not a sim.
Simbins PC games I would call sims, but unless this is played in Arcade mode, then I would say this is an Arcade game.
