Legally, a government sponsored entity, such as UMass, has a duty to see that 1st amendment rights are protected. By them (the campus police) not intervening, their action denys a 1st amendment right. But, then again, what do you marxists care about the U.S. Constitution?

It's amazing that leftists can even begin to defend this kind of behavior, it really is. I don't seem to recall that IG Farben, Krupp, Rheinmetall, Meserschmitt, (important German companies during the war) etc. were exclusively owned by the Nazi state; sure, they worked closely with Nazis, but that was because their capitalist interested stated: cooperate or be nationalized= loss of profits.

So are you suggesting that Haliburton, Boeing, General Motors, etc are all part of a socialistic empire because they provide the military with arms and services?

Nazis were NOT socialists. True, the official name of the party mentions Socialism, but you must have no idea what socialism is if you can even think that the Nazis were actually socialists. Hitler's biggest enemies were the socialists and the communist, but he insisted that the party keep the term "socialist" to attract workers disgruntled with the Weimar republic's bickering.

Extreme socialism leads to communism. Failed socialism leads to facism. With the government owning banks, car companies, etc., and trying to dictate the terms of employees' contracts, that meets the first definition of facism. Suppression of free speech is the second definition, and the UMass mob is taking care of that!
