It was stat queen squadrons like LTD that ruined Fighter Ace for everybody.

First they complained and cried and cried until they had the Me-109K and the Me-262 nuetered and the dora removed from game, But that was not enough for them , They bitched about the ACE Stars , and they had the F.A.V.G remove those . So the numbers of subscriptions declined old mark vang decided to close it down.

The F.A.V.G also helped screw it up by banning players for nothing more than talking back to them.

@rhall4th In the game, Carriers are always escorted by cruisers. The arena was set up for me by Doug@FA but there are limitations as to what he could change. Hope you enjoyed watching

I would have loved to have the F2As in this video, but they aren't in the list of available aircraft in Fighter Ace.

They were a poor, outdated plane at the time (1942) and not really up to the task.

I would also love to have the British Sword Fish Bi-planes (Taranto raid), but they aren't available either

for fighter combat heck yeah but there is no infantry... although there is ai tanks... single player is free for this game, and you get a 30 day free trial for multiplayer. its worth the download :D

How do you make the camera stay on one specific place? Doesn't it always move with the plane?

while viewing, hit backspace to go to manual control of film. Then hit F6. this will place the camera in the spot it was when you hit it. From there, you can use 3 and 4 key with the mouse to move the camers where you wish. To speed up the camera movement, hit the shift key while hitting 3 or 4

im curious.. why is there a taiho class carrier at midway? the japanese didnt even have them yet and only 1 or 2 were built but not until 1944, the 1st one being sunk at it s first battle by a us sub. and they look like theyre based on the essex class carrier which didnt come out til 6 months aftrer the midway battle. sorry but the inaccuracies would annoy me, otherwise it looks fun

until later in the war. If I remember correctly,

the Devastator was the main US torpedo bomber

at that time.

That would be a blooper. The ships were in 2groups to make the number and types I wanted, but the game doesn't realize that they shouldn't occupy the same space. Killed 3 planes (I think) that were about to take off. We all had a good laugh about it and set up for the take off filming again
