  • ME ENCANTA LA COMBINACION DE FOUTTES QUE COREOGRAFIARON!!! SUPER LLAMATIVOS ! SUBLIME...

  • It is a great performance and the more I watch I can see this beautiful lyrics unfold in this production ! Such a delicate feeling between Tereshkina , Korsuntsev and Shklyarov in this part that each time it takes my beath away!!!!

  • @opensecret51 Mmm, delicate feeling....

  • what was that at 00:47!

but the rest is just amazinggggg! =| .. and her attitude <3 :)

  • such powerful ending for Tereshkina! that arabesque made me hold my breath she is so musical

  • Never ever have I seen the ballerina outshine the male dancers in this part before! Kudos to Tereshkina , that's a remarkable feat!

  • my God, her fouettes!!! Perfect! Though the conductor went way too fast I think...:/

  • Never seen such a fabulous performance. All are great and Tereshkina is now my favourite dancer- such finesse and technique!

  • if i was a dance school director i will show this video to my students telling them girls this is how you deliver a variation...and how you ended..."a la tereshkina"!!!!good i can see how much she enjoy it dancing...

  • I still prefer Somova in this.

  • Wow! What a dream cast for this ballet. This is what Le Corsaire is supposed to be!

  • Oh my goodness - BRAVA TERESHKINA!!!!!!! Im am speachless!!! Now THAT is how one combines artistry & technique!!!

  • Tereshkina is great as Medora.

But what I like about this production is Korsuntsev's strong presence. This Conrad never lets Ali to steal the show.

I feel like his whole body language tells us that both Medora and Ali belong to him.

    That's very heroe-esque.

  • Well said for a refined Japanese woman. As long as you stay away from Batalov's pirouettes, your mouth will stay pure.

  • Excuse me for being crazy in love with his pirouettes.

    It's... It's...

Oh I have to shut my mouth again.

  • I have to aplogize. I was laughing when I was writing that comment. What you said about Korsuntsev was great and I can understand what you were saying about Batalov. He is amazing.

  • I know you are joking and like it.

Now I think Korsuntsev's Conrad is really Byron-esque, I should read the poem again.

  • I have to warn you that I previously had Batalov's Don Quixote variation and solo from the grand pas. since it no longer is on YT, I will upload within the next 2 weeks, the entire performance which was never shown. Maybe you should avoid watching it or keep your eyes closed when he dances.

  • Until then I have to sew my mouth and keep our polite polite tradition intact.

  • Nobody is as polite as the Japanese. Great Tradition, like what ballet is in Russia.

  • @Bnesque. I was happy to (belatedly) read your comments on Korsuntsev. IMO he is the most important male dancer at the Mariinsky. What a great partner!

  • @palubob Korsuntsev is such a great partner that every Odette/Odile debut should have him as her partner. His partnering compares with the greatest ever.

  • @palubob He's a super partner but he's too caring sometimes. I believe he comes alive more in these masculine roles.

  • WOW! I'm in love again - this time with Tereshkina.
