hey im kinda new to detecting... wondering where to find nuggets... like what to look for and what material to look for...im more of a creek prospector... thanks
Is this in the sonoran desert in arizona? Im wanting to head to arizona for a prospecting trip but i have no clue where to even begin,I want to be on legal land ya know? Not trying to get arrested.Most of the gold in VA is just flour gold along the gold pyrite belt.Im looking to find my first nugget in AZ.Any input will be greatly appreciated.
The best thing you can do is join a prospecting club that has claims in the area you are going. There are several cheap clubs in Arizona that have alot of mining claims you can go on. Such as:
Tucson Desert Gold Diggers-Nugget Wranglers-Quartzsite Metal detecting Club-Weaver Mining District- YNot Prospecting Club-Western States Prospecting Association....
