this is just part of the adventure mode, when the Al Asad dude blows up the nuke, and, being the little wussy he is, set it off from a fair distance as so not to kill himself. He basically killed thousands of people, including civilians (or so i think) to kill like a few hundred American soldiers. Good prank anyhow :)
