@Hperman09. No wrestling is not more important than a wife and son, but their gone now and their gone now and nothing can be done about it.
Chris loved his family, he loved his fans, and he loved wrestling. Benoit deserves recognition for his years and years of unmatched passion and hard work.
@cmpunkfan34 You ignored by arguments and your comments areconjecure to my arguments. Do you rather vote for a murderer that killed his family? No matter how good his conditions are, his final actions destroyed his image. We can blame it on brain damage bu his actions destroyed it. Th HOF is not just his characher, it also includes his perosonal athleticism. So you endorsed murderers then? What if Chris Benoit massacred 100 people with his brain damage, would you still vote for him?
@cmpunkfan34 Go tell that to their faces to Nancy and Daniel Benoit's family. I would love to hear what the had to say about you. Even Mick, Kurt Angle, and Jim Ross shared tha same opinion. If you think it's ok to put a murderer into the HOF, you need mental help and it would go everything that sports is for.
Everyone should be forgiven? So you think Hitler should be forgiven because he's killed millions of Jews and said sry at the end? You're fuckin retard.
@Hperman09. - In Benoit's final months alive his brain was so messed up he most likely had very very little or no sense at all of right and wrong.
40 years of doing what was right and loving those around you should not be tarnished with one action, especially under these circumstances. Everyone should be forgiven, even if they don't necessarily deserve it. We all have flaws, we all do bad things, some more than others. But Benoit for almost his whole life valued what was really important.
@cmpunkfan34 You're also a retard for not replying to my comment box. Are you mentally stupid that you too dumb how to click a "reply" button. Sounds like someone needs a babysiter and tha's people like you.
Hperman09. Your a real peace of work. I never said Benoit should be forgiven, I never made excuses on his behalf. I was just saying that Chris's brain damage crippled his ability to feel emotions and make decisions. I guess we could argue back and forth about this for months and months about this as this is really just opinion based so I'll end the argument with this.
@cmpunkfan34 But the brain damage was is own fucking fault! Jeez, he got brain damage from doing what he was doing. He AGREED to keep doing all that shit. He knew the risks, took them, and now his family is DEAD. I hope he's happy knowing that in hell/heaven.
@Hperman09, one last thing, calm down and stop making this shit so personal. I'm just trying to kill some time and have a conversation and your insulting me and being a dick and acting like a 12 year old.
@Hperman09. You know only what it's like to be of sound mind. You obviously know the difference between right and wrong. You make good decisions 95% percent of the time because that part of your brain is still intact. Benoit in the final weeks/months before his death lost this.
@cmpunkfan34 From the posts i read, i really can tell you just a 12-15 year old cunt who just obsessed with wrestling fanboyism, no morals, no braincells, and laying the blame is someone else is childish and ignorant. If someone person like a "Ted Bundy" type of guy kill your family because of his mental illness and despite of his good career, would you forgive him for that? If so, you're simply supporting a murderer. The same logic applies to Benoit as well as for OJ Simpson.
@Hperman09,I said specifically that what he did was horrible and unforgiveable, but does not wash away everything else in his life. Furthermore you need to calm down, I totally respect how you feel and about 5 years ago on my 12th birthday, I felt just like you and did for 3-4 years. Maybe going into the Hall of Fame is an overstatement, but you have to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.
@Hperman09, I'm not even necessarily talking about him as a wrestler. I'm saying people should remember Chris Benoit as a PERSON who was very loving and passionate to his family. Was most of this his fault, hell yes, but inside his head was a very dark cold place and you can't understand or relate to that, granted neither can I since I didn't personally know him, nor did he leave behind a suicide note.
@cmpunkfan34 I told you many times yet you ignored my arugments. You are a nasty piece of work and if you are not joking then you have no brain cells. Chris Benoit did a terrible thing to his son. What wrestling talent more worth than his son? Yes he was an star but his HOF or whatever they are would never place Chris Benoit in the HOF. As a person, what he did also tarnished that as well because in the future, people will remember him as a guy who killed his family and not his wrestling career.
@cmpunkfan34 "nor he did he leave behind a suicide note"?
LOL I guess someone is not reading the news lately?
"Michael Benoit lives in Canada and didn't see his son frequently enough to notice a mental decline. But he said the signs at the murder scene -- Benoit had surrounded his victims with Bibles, and a suicide note was found in a Bible in a drawer -- fit the profile of a CTE sufferer.
"He had a hand-written notation in there saying "I'm preparing to leave this Earth,".
@Hperman09@cmpunkfan34 besides the HOF is really worthless. I mean if Pete Rose and Koko B. are going to be in it, whats the point? Benoit shouldn't be forgotten, not for his wrestling nor for the last days of his life. "WHO THE FUCK CARES ABOUT BENOIT'S PAST? HE WAS ONE HELL OF A WRESTLER!" is incredibly stupid and actually offensive to some.
@Hperman09 and @PeaceonEarth122, this was not a cold calculated planned out murder by someone of sound mind who made a clear and concise decision. This was done by a man who was severely mentally ill, who could no longer make sound decisions, in a fit of rage.
@cmpunkfan34 They are tons of wrestlers like Benoit that got so much headshots yer they still never kill their families. Typically, you again chose to shift blame and tried to apologize for Benoit that brutally murdered his wife. You hate the WWE so much then why the fuck are you still watching it? You username is @cmpunkfan34 for a reason, that explains why you still watching it. I have not watched WWE for years and never will again watch my lifetime. There is also a thing called Morals.
@cmpunkfan34 I never said it was cold blooded murder read my fucking question. When you have family of a your wife and a son you don't go out and take your family with you. When he did it, it basically make him a killer and takes a chance away from the WWE HOF. WWE is a public company, they have image and uphold and thing like Benoit bring bad publicity. Vince and rest of the WWE superstars doesn't have a fucking future mirror ball what is benoit supposed to do and what not to do.
@cmpunkfan34 Quite frankly, you just a naive little 12 year old kid who just love Benoit just because he's a wrestler. Wrestling ability does not mean more than a young child's life. You don't know who Benoit was personally, so you have no idea inside if he was a good man or no -- you just love him because he was a good wrestler. I know Benoit personally about three times(one in 2002, 2004, and 2006) and no doubt was a great man but after what he did in 2007 make my reexamine it.
@cmpunkfan34 BTW, you never replied to my inbox, your replies isn't there in my inbox. Typically that shows how much of a coward you are. You hate arguments with other people so you just to not reply.
@Hperman09 and @PeaceonEarth122, lastly, what if this incident never in fact involved Chris Benoit? What if Shawn Michaels did this autrocity? Would you block out the greatest wrestler in the history of this business and act like he never existed? (Not trying to be a jerk, I'm just curious to hear what you have to say.) Would the circumstances change? If so how?
@cmpunkfan34 I know wrestling for a longer time than you do. Chris was supposed to know from right to wrong regardless of his conditions. Accoring to that logic, then Mick Foley would have killed his family a long time ago because his brain was damaged as much as Benoit yet he resisted. Get over it kid, Benoit is not going to be in the HOF any time. You don't understand the honor of business and don't understand shit about public relations. Do something instead of pointing fingers at someone.
@Hperman09 There are only a few times you can actually blame WWE for a death, and that's Owen Hart. Even though Owen agreed to do it, they really should of made sure nothing was wrong with the thing. Its not like they tried to kill Owen, I'm just saying that's a 1 in a lifetime incident WWF could get partial blame. Benoit has 0%
@Hperman09 and @PeaceonEarth122, I'm not just saying this as a fan of Chris Benoit. I don't think one action, no matter how horrible, does not wash away the many years of love, peace, and good you committed during your life. Especially under these circumstances. What happened here was a tradgedy, WWE medical personell should've made it clear with both Vince and Benoit that moves like the Diving Headbut, were off limits. WWE deserves to be run into the ground for their neglect and treatment.
@cmpunkfan34 Here you go again, blaming on WWE for Chris benoit's death is something that the MEDIA would love to do, typical and stupid. There is always dipshits with the people like you trying to blame the WWE instead of looking fullying how Benoit is fucked up. There's one sided and that is unfair. Chris benoit wanted the wrestlers to REALLY HIT HIM so it can be realistic. That's how he got a brain damage and even Benoit said it himself on his DVD Hard Knocks.
@Hperman09 and @PeaceonEarth122, on that same note neither of you personally knew Chris Benoit so it's unfair you make judgements about his character. I go by with what I see with people who did know him (WWE staff) and they all said Chris was a very devoted and loving man, especially to his family. Benoit in the right mind would never in a million years do something like this. His emotional part of his brain completely outweighed the rational part and he committed a crime of passion.
@Hperman09 and @PeaceonEarth122, I totally respect your side of the argument and for a long time I thought just like you guys. But I'm not sure you understand the severity of Benoit's situation. Benoit's actions are both horrible and unforgivable that is true, but his perception of human emotions and judgement part of his brain was just completely destroyed. He couldn't think straight and make proper choices. I'm not in any way justifying what he did, that cannot be forgiven.
Sorry @Hperman09, I forgot to put the @ before your name on my first comment. But please read it anyway, as the rest of this won't make much sense if you don't.
@cmpunkfan34 Fact: Benoit's family threatened to sue the WWE(Which never happened) if the WWE mention anything about Benoit again, not to mention WWE is a public company and as a public company they had an image to uphold. They were given a bad rep through the media and it would cause a lot of problems if WWE did. I can't honestly stand with apologists like you trying to make excuses for what Benoit did. When you step out of the WWE, you're no longer part of the character, it's get's real.
@cmpunkfan34 Drunk drivers kill people due to lifestyle choices and repetitive habits that catch up to them. That doesn't make them any less a pariah to society. Most of child killers have a bad mental illness, it doesn't mean they shouldn't be punished for ruining the lives of others.
Grow up, kid. Put yourself in the place of the ones affected by the events and show some humanity. I'm sure if Benoit killed your family, you wouldn't be so privy to studying his tapes or glorifying his career.
@Hperman09. Same goes for Chris. WWE should honor the good times, and respect all he has done both as a person and a wrestler. Chris Benoit immortalized himself in this business, and therefore deserves to be in the Hall of Fame someday. But how WWE could just cover up this incident and act like it never existed makes me sick!
@cmpunkfan34 You're speaking this from a fan point of view which is quiet selfish. I have known Chris benoit since we first stepped in the WWF/E in 2000(I was 7 years old when i first saw him on RAW). As a wreslter, there is no doubt he's good but as a person not so much. Chris benoit was abusing his wife lately weeks up to the murders and even Benoit's neighbors said he was acting strange. NAncy was about to leave him along with his son. But regardless, it's no excuse what Chris did.
@Hperman09. What if someone else who pioneered the business did this? What if Shawn Michaels did this? Would we erase the greatest professional wrestler in history and act like he never existed? No, you would honor his memory and remember Shawn for the good times, and being the good person he was.
@cmpunkfan34 If someone you loved were murdered by someone who had brain damage, would you say to let the guy off and forgive him? I highly doubt it and if you say different I doubt you are being honest with yourself. Even with Chris's brain damage he clearly had to know right from wrong and he had no problem for killing 2 people. Mick Foley took many damages from wrestling than Benoit does yet he resisted killing his family. Quit justifying a guy who killed his own innocent kid and his wife.
@Hperman09. Benoit was a great person who loved his family very much. Perhaps you need to do your research. Benoit's abilities to make judgement's and decisions were completely gone and he committed a crime of passion. One bad deed, especially one he did in the wrong frame of mind, most likely under limited or no free will does not erase his life of love and passion for his family or even his accomplishments in wrestling.
@Hperman09. You don't know Chris Benoit, the guys in the lockeroom did. Not one WWE wrestler had anything negative to say about Chris Benoit. Benoit was like family to everyone in the business. Oh, here's an idea, if you ever see Edge or Dean Malinko tell them their friend deserves to go to hell! If you ever see his living kids (and yes he does have some) tell them he was a horrible parent. If you ever see his parents, tell them he deserves to burn forever in fire and brimstone, I dare you!
@cmpunkfan34 Chris benoit is a great man no doubt but his acccimplishments are irrelavant to the matter DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT HE BRUTALLY MURDERERED HIS WIFE AND SON. Who could honor that? Even Mick Foley and Jericho said it themselves. WWE is not just about wrestling, there is a humantarian part as well. WWE is also involved in some charitity projects like Make-a-wish foundations and Vince Mcmahon donate a lot of money to special needs children based on a WWE character name Eugene.
Hperman09. Good, WWE deserves to have that bad reputation after the way they treated a great man like Chris Benoit. Obviously dropping from 5 ft+ and landing directly on your head is gonna fuck you up. Although I agree Benoit should've known better, WWE medical personell and leadership staff should've known better too and prohibitted such moves.
@cmpunkfan34 I'm not saying WWE isn't innocent either. Vince was a fault for pushing Benoit to work every night when he clearly needs break. But Benoit doesn't need to be in the WWE or anyone else. If any, he could have left the company for TNA or Japan where there is easier work there but no he chose to stick with the grind with his working fulltime. It's truth that Benoit agreed to use the headbutts as a signature move and agreed to take the bumps. It's fact of life.
As far as Benoit being mentioned goes, they don't have to praise him like he's a WWE Legend (even though he is), but mention his goddamn name! Everyone who ever knew Benoit would tell you about the dedicated wrestler and family man, not the murderer. Even though what he did was horrible, one action does not erase his whole life of passion and dedication. The man was insane, had the brain of an 85 year old dimmentia patient, furthermore it was WWE's fault for alowing him to do such moves.
@cmpunkfan34 You're fucking stupid. No matter how good or bad he is in the ring, you can't separate from wrestler to person. The final hours of his life destroyed his reputation. WWE didn't put a gun to Benoit's head and say do what we told you to do. Benoit wanted to take the bumps and work full time despite his knowledge what's going on his body. Heard of god's given free will? It was Benoit's choice and he chose to take a coward's way out. It's not WWE's fault that he committed the acts.
@cmpunkfan34 Chris could have gone to TNA or Japan where there is easier work schedule and better treatment but he chose to stay in the WWE and work full time. WWE is a public company, they had an image to uphold. Look at from the business point of view, not a fan point of view. Benoit wasn't mentioned because it would bring bad image to the WWE and ruined public relations with everyone involved. If you think WWE should mentioned him again, i strongly suggest you need to be on Vince's shoes.
@TheFredster2114, Daniel and Chris have almost the exact same move set man! If you changed DB's kicks to chops, the Benoit family would sue him for copyright infringement. Maybe it is you who needs to check their facts. Watch videos of Lebell lock and Crippler Crossface as well as both superstars doing diving headbuts, you will see no difference.
The Crippler Crossface and the LeBell Lock are two completely different submissions, the L.L. is more painful than the Crossface. Danielson hits the Headbutt completely different than Benoit hit it, his is much safer because he covers his head!
Danielson and Benoit are two completely different wrestlers/people, so know your fuckin' facts before you post.
The real reason WWE never mentions Benoit, is not really to avoid controversy, but to cover up their own faults.
Benoit had the brain of an 85 year old dimentia patient. Those head injuries came from the Diving Headbut he always did. WWE knew that was an extremely dangerous move, but they let him do it anyway.
@cmpunkfan34 Stupid, WWE covered him up because Beonit killed his family then to himself. Why mentioned a murderer? You see, WWE was involved in a lot of funding to charities, etc and that Benoit murder-suicide would be a bad publicity to the company. Benoit doesn't need to get mentioned and plus Chris Benoit's father already sued the WWE for not mentioning Chris's name again.
WWE's attitude toward Chris Benoit totally pisses me off. They try to act like he never existed.
Granted he did kill his wife and kids, but superstars that knew him remember him for being the most dedicated wrestler and a family man. It's not like they never have to mention his name ever again. The man accomplished as much as most Hall of Famers, he's one of the best! He deserves to be mentioned.
@cmpunkfan34 No, he doesn't need to get mentioned. WWE tends to stray from controversy, and that's what they've been doing for years now. Yeah, he was a great wrestler, but like you said he did something wrong and Vince would be a stupid fuck if he mentioned the man who caused it.
Michael Cole actually referred to this win during the Royal Rumble the other night. He said, "Only two men have entered at number one and won the Rumble; one of those men was Shawn Michaels." So much for WWE completely eliminating all references to Benoit.
@hightimesbruce I think one of the reasons WWE's doing that, is because they don't think they can get another Shawn Michaels, but they think they can get another Chris Benoit. If you noticed, the LeBell Lock is the Crossface, and we just saw Benoit use the same chokehold that Daniel Bryan uses. It's a shame they think that. Benoit is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, and the WWE needs to give him the respect he deserves.
Whoa, i thought Mysterio had the record for longest time in the Rumble. I had no idea it was actually Benoit that had the record before he was taken out from the books.
@DANIELEk843 When Benoit went to raw Smackdown had a 15 man rumble with the superstars that entered the 04 rumble Eddie replaced Benoit and won his ticket to noway out if benoit had the WWE title it would have been Benoit VS. Lesnar
@crazy1111111111 so we should just ignore the fact he killed his son and wife, just because he wrestles? Nice logic. I guess we should also ignore OJ Simpsons killings because he could play B-Ball
@TheWrestlingOracle You know Jack Shit, Benoit was prescribed testosterone as part of a treatment for testosterone replacement therapy and combined whit his steroids had a 70% of causing great distress and had a history of making people imagine things that arnt happening aka hallucination nobody knows what was going through his head when he done what he done but anyone that watched benoit as a kid like myself knew benoit was good at what he done an what happeened doesnt change that. Get Served.
@TheWrestlingOracle HHH is nothing but a bussiness man that earn his spot thanks to the McMahon's family,The Rock and Y2J are more focus on his life outside the ring (movies and music).Benoit's passion for this sport goes thro everyone. He lived and bleed wrestling, giving everything he had for more than 20 yrs, even his health. And in the same way we're not gonna forget his tragedy,we wont forget his heart and passion for this industry, the same industry that give him the back
The diving headbutt is dangerous move not because the head hits the opponent or the floor, it hurts cause benoit lifts his jaw, putting all the pressure of the move on the neck and impact on the back, that way his brain liquid was shaking every damn time, there's where the damage was done. I'm a big fan of benoit, even if i never watch him wrestle live, he's was a great man, a great wrestler and gave it out for our major good. You'all should feel honored and proud of him.
chair-headshots, headbutts, hitting his head off of the ring and the pressure on the flights really got to benoits head and thats how he went psychotic. its not funny and its not his fault either, he was a great man ( my uncle knew him) but what his mind made him do shouldnt shadow his career, RIP benoit and his family
@TheMainEvent2592 OJ was found innocent in a court of law. thats all that matters. As far as the law is concerned, OJ is innocent and that is all that matters
@parkycjp That's not my point. Legally yes he's innocent, but we all know he did it. I'm saying why do so many wrestling fans love Benoit still even after what he did when football fans have enough decency to shun Simpson.
@TheMainEvent2592 because there morons. He was found innocent in a court of law so hes not a murderer. to say anything else is slander. OJ never played football, he played NFL. How do we know he did it when it has been proven that he never did it? thats just u yanks being a bunch of fucking prejudiced cunts, hes been proven innocent, what more do you want???? oh aye, hes black so he obviously did it, its the american way.
@parkycjp A: It's they're, B: Her blood was on his clothes in his hotel room also by football I mean American football. You're a dumbass who would rather ignore the fact that Benoit killed a woman and a child because he was a phenomenal wrestler.
@TheMainEvent2592 He was mentally unstable because of all the head injuries he had doing wrestling. He didn't murder his family because he was evil, he did it because he wasn't in his right mind. He was pretty much insane.
@Gavin17259 I understand that his brain was more like an 85 year old with Alzheimers. What I'm saying is that nobody else would defend a crazy person who killed, just look at the mentally disturbed kid who shot up Virginia Tech. Nobody is defending him so why as wrestling fans are we?
@uglybugushan2364 look closely, he always hit the breastplate. not as much bone as the shoulder area so the blow was softened on both parts. still, never enough as we all know what happened to benoits brain in the end
The death of Chris Benoit was an utter travesty, not just the death but the way the cops handled the case. An UNOPENED pack of steroids doesn't prove anything. There was only ONE wound on the wife, no reason for Benoit to do this, and there was no suicide note. Plus, they had interviews with Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, etc. saying Benoit was fine A HALF HOUR before the fact. Don't let the Rabid Wolverine die here. Re-post this everywhere to get Benoit what he deserves - respect. R.I.P. Benoit.
@PlateOfPorkChops enjoying my Benoit matches since they entertain me and that's my priority. As for Benoit the person, I'll let God be the judge of his actions. Similarly, if my favorite musician would come out and confess to rape and necrophilia, I would not stop listening to his music in any way. I'm trying to enjoy my life, not be busy and play a moral freak who's obsessed with other people's personal life when they provide me with entertainment.
@fleshnbone187 Well entertainment is was really matters here. Go ahead and bury your head in the sand then. Just remember to cheer as loudly as you can when you see him apply the crossface and you picture him doing it to his wife and child. Age may be just a number but maturity comes with age. I am truly concerned for your generation.
@trekfanful Look, I know what went down at Benoit's house was a terrible, terrible accident, but there's not a damn thing about it I can do. I'm not a sensitive douchebag who mixes up personal events with what a guy does as a job. What Benoit did in a ring was out of this world and just because he lost his mind, doesn't mean I'm going to stop enjoying his amazing in-ring stunts. Crying wont solve anything, so just enjoy your life while you can. And lol @ the generation bullcrap. You're (cont)
@trekfanful (cont) probably a 15 year old shit talker that fronts like you've been through generations. Bitch please! I wont believe you for a second and you are not doing any favors to this world you so dearly claim to care about when you're spending your time on a video about somebody you hate. I don't think Jeffrey Dahmer is in a good place now he's dead, but I wont go to every single video concerning and type "murderous scumbag". And unlike Benoit, he has no redeeming values.
@fleshnbone187 What redeeming value would that be? Bottom line is this. You and anyone else who makes excuses for this guy are gutless cowards. I'll tell you why.: you can not accept the reality of Chris Benoit. It happened. You feel the need to hide from it, excuse it or otherwise bury your fucking head in the sand. I'm done with this. Please stop sending me messages.
@trekfanful That he was a very good wrestler and also that he was not in the perfect mood either. "Gutless cowards"? Hah, a guy who's talking shit about dead people is calling me gutless. LOL! Go look in the mirror, dumb ass. And "hide" from what? Benoit is an entertaining wrestler with a load of quality matches that I can enjoy at any time? So what if he did something wrong in his personal life? That doesn't remove all the great he did in the ring. I can separate the man from the wrestler!
Thank God he won this rumble and the main event of Wrestlemania 20. That way WWE cannot erase him without realizing that they are just handicapping their own history.
I thought Bob Backlund held the record because he was in there for 1:01:10 at the 1993 royal rumble, he broke Flair's record at the 92 royal rumble when Ric was in there for almost 1 hr
Chris Benoit the reason he became psychotic was because of the chairshots and failed Headbutts. But for who did he put his life in the line??? For us, to entertain us so don't put his personal life .He's dead, let him Rest in Peace with his family
@apocalypsearenas His family should not be resting in peace. People never blame themselves. The man was a psycho. He was still wrestling. He was doing every day stuff. The man should Rot in hell
Hey guys i hate to be a bother but i really would like u guys to check out my channel! i know a majority of you are thinking to urself's why im even bothering well its because i really think u guys will like my work. i've created a show called The Osama Bin Laden Show and has become quite popular but i need it to become huge because i have a TV contract. Please show ur mates, Subscribe, Rate, comment and enjoy.
Almost all the Benoit fan boys with excuse after excuse for him are like mid twenties at the oldest.Maybe when they grow up and have kids of their own they'll realize what a fucking scumbag it takes to kill their own children.
@p0nkub0x How about YOU go fuck YOURSELF. Heartless bastard. Felling so sorry for a man who murdered his wife and child. You're obviously as big a coward as he was. Can't face the reality of your of fallen hero.
@trekfanful LETS FUCKIN START FOR A FACT THAT IF MURDERERS WERE COWARDS THEY WOULDNT BE MURDERERS IDIOT, second is that it Was never proven, they just came to a conclusion and closed the case, but NOTHING shows that it was benoit who did it, so get your facts straight, and if u dont believe me, search around everywhere, nothing shows benoit ACTUALLY did it, apart from a guess at the ortopsy, FUCKIN LOOK
@p0nkub0x Excuses on top of excuses on top of excuses. You know he did that shit. Everyone does. BTW plenty of cowards commit murder. You obviously don't understand the meaning of courage. Yeah, It takes a real brave man to tie up a much smaller and weaker woman and choke her out. It takes a brave man to drug a child and choke him out to. It takes an even braver man to kill himself to keep from facing the ramifications of those actions.
@p0nkub0x Everyone is entitled to their opinion. And everyone is entitled to disagree with everyone else's opinion. But that's just my opinion. I am perfectly willing to admit when I am wrong. But you have to prove to me that I am.
@JakeCreightz How could you miss that piece of shit? Poor Nancy and Daniel. I wish people showed half the regard to them as they do to the coward who murdered them in cold blood.
@JakeCreightz So you buy into all the brain damage crap? He knew exactly what he was doing. He knew right from wrong. If not then why did he make all those bullshit phone calls talking about "food poisoning"? Everything he did points to premeditation. His father heard exactly what he wanted to hear. You and everyone like you disgust me. Enjoy watching your idol. Next time you see the "Crippler Crossface" picture him doing it to Nancy and Daniel.Enjoy.
@trekfanful Oh sorry! I didn't realise you were with Benoit in his last few hours! How the fuck could you know what Benoit was thinking? You didn't know him? How did you know about his medical history! Oh, you don't!
@JakeCreightz So are you saying he did not know right from wrong? Obviously he did. Otherwise he would not have been covering for his absence from WWE events over the course of the weekend. Let's be honest here. If he had not had the status he had you and the other little children like you that obviously need Benoit so badly would not give a shit. Let's say for instance that it was a lower tier guy. You would acknowledge his guilt.
@Hperman09. No wrestling is not more important than a wife and son, but their gone now and their gone now and nothing can be done about it.
Chris loved his family, he loved his fans, and he loved wrestling. Benoit deserves recognition for his years and years of unmatched passion and hard work.
Vote Chris Benoit for Hall of Fame Class 2013!

Hperman09. Your a real peace of work. I never said Benoit should be forgiven, I never made excuses on his behalf. I was just saying that Chris's brain damage crippled his ability to feel emotions and make decisions. I guess we could argue back and forth about this for months and months about this as this is really just opinion based so I'll end the argument with this.
cmpunkfan34 4 days ago
@cmpunkfan34 But the brain damage was is own fucking fault! Jeez, he got brain damage from doing what he was doing. He AGREED to keep doing all that shit. He knew the risks, took them, and now his family is DEAD. I hope he's happy knowing that in hell/heaven.
IMMAEDEDDNEDDY 4 days ago
@Hperman09, one last thing, calm down and stop making this shit so personal. I'm just trying to kill some time and have a conversation and your insulting me and being a dick and acting like a 12 year old.
cmpunkfan34 6 days ago
@Hperman09. You know only what it's like to be of sound mind. You obviously know the difference between right and wrong. You make good decisions 95% percent of the time because that part of your brain is still intact. Benoit in the final weeks/months before his death lost this.
cmpunkfan34 6 days ago
@cmpunkfan34 From the posts i read, i really can tell you just a 12-15 year old cunt who just obsessed with wrestling fanboyism, no morals, no braincells, and laying the blame is someone else is childish and ignorant. If someone person like a "Ted Bundy" type of guy kill your family because of his mental illness and despite of his good career, would you forgive him for that? If so, you're simply supporting a murderer. The same logic applies to Benoit as well as for OJ Simpson.
Hperman09 4 days ago
@Hperman09,I said specifically that what he did was horrible and unforgiveable, but does not wash away everything else in his life. Furthermore you need to calm down, I totally respect how you feel and about 5 years ago on my 12th birthday, I felt just like you and did for 3-4 years. Maybe going into the Hall of Fame is an overstatement, but you have to understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.
cmpunkfan34 6 days ago

Hperman09 4 days ago
@cmpunkfan34 "nor he did he leave behind a suicide note"?
LOL I guess someone is not reading the news lately?
"Michael Benoit lives in Canada and didn't see his son frequently enough to notice a mental decline. But he said the signs at the murder scene -- Benoit had surrounded his victims with Bibles, and a suicide note was found in a Bible in a drawer -- fit the profile of a CTE sufferer.
"He had a hand-written notation in there saying "I'm preparing to leave this Earth,".

@Hperman09 @cmpunkfan34 besides the HOF is really worthless.
IMMAEDEDDNEDDY 4 days ago
@Hperman09 and @PeaceonEarth122, this was not a cold calculated planned out murder by someone of sound mind who made a clear and concise decision. This was done by a man who was severely mentally ill, who could no longer make sound decisions, in a fit of rage.
cmpunkfan34 1 week ago
@cmpunkfan34 They are tons of wrestlers like Benoit that got so much headshots yer they still never kill their families. Typically, you again chose to shift blame and tried to apologize for Benoit that brutally murdered his wife. You hate the WWE so much then why the fuck are you still watching it? You username is @cmpunkfan34 for a reason, that explains why you still watching it. I have not watched WWE for years and never will again watch my lifetime. There is also a thing called Morals.
Hperman09 1 week ago
@cmpunkfan34 I never said it was cold blooded murder read my fucking question. When you have family of a your wife and a son you don't go out and take your family with you. When he did it, it basically make him a killer and takes a chance away from the WWE HOF. WWE is a public company, they have image and uphold and thing like Benoit bring bad publicity. Vince and rest of the WWE superstars doesn't have a fucking future mirror ball what is benoit supposed to do and what not to do.
Hperman09 1 week ago
@cmpunkfan34 Quite frankly, you just a naive little 12 year old kid who just love Benoit just because he's a wrestler. Wrestling ability does not mean more than a young child's life. You don't know who Benoit was personally, so you have no idea inside if he was a good man or no -- you just love him because he was a good wrestler. I know Benoit personally about three times(one in 2002, 2004, and 2006) and no doubt was a great man but after what he did in 2007 make my reexamine it.
Hperman09 1 week ago
@cmpunkfan34 BTW, you never replied to my inbox, your replies isn't there in my inbox. Typically that shows how much of a coward you are. You hate arguments with other people so you just to not reply.

@Hperman09 and @PeaceonEarth122, lastly, what if this incident never in fact involved Chris Benoit? What if Shawn Michaels did this autrocity? Would you block out the greatest wrestler in the history of this business and act like he never existed? (Not trying to be a jerk, I'm just curious to hear what you have to say.) Would the circumstances change? If so how?
cmpunkfan34 1 week ago
@cmpunkfan34 I know wrestling for a longer time than you do. Chris was supposed to know from right to wrong regardless of his conditions. Accoring to that logic, then Mick Foley would have killed his family a long time ago because his brain was damaged as much as Benoit yet he resisted. Get over it kid, Benoit is not going to be in the HOF any time. You don't understand the honor of business and don't understand shit about public relations. Do something instead of pointing fingers at someone.
Hperman09 1 week ago
@Hperman09 There are only a few times you can actually blame WWE for a death, and that's Owen Hart. Even though Owen agreed to do it, they really should of made sure nothing was wrong with the thing. Its not like they tried to kill Owen, I'm just saying that's a 1 in a lifetime incident WWF could get partial blame. Benoit has 0%
IMMAEDEDDNEDDY 6 days ago
@Hperman09 and @PeaceonEarth122, I'm not just saying this as a fan of Chris Benoit. I don't think one action, no matter how horrible, does not wash away the many years of love, peace, and good you committed during your life. Especially under these circumstances. What happened here was a tradgedy, WWE medical personell should've made it clear with both Vince and Benoit that moves like the Diving Headbut, were off limits. WWE deserves to be run into the ground for their neglect and treatment.
cmpunkfan34 1 week ago
@cmpunkfan34 Here you go again, blaming on WWE for Chris benoit's death is something that the MEDIA would love to do, typical and stupid. There is always dipshits with the people like you trying to blame the WWE instead of looking fullying how Benoit is fucked up. There's one sided and that is unfair. Chris benoit wanted the wrestlers to REALLY HIT HIM so it can be realistic. That's how he got a brain damage and even Benoit said it himself on his DVD Hard Knocks.
Hperman09 1 week ago
@Hperman09 and @PeaceonEarth122, on that same note neither of you personally knew Chris Benoit so it's unfair you make judgements about his character. I go by with what I see with people who did know him (WWE staff) and they all said Chris was a very devoted and loving man, especially to his family. Benoit in the right mind would never in a million years do something like this. His emotional part of his brain completely outweighed the rational part and he committed a crime of passion.
cmpunkfan34 1 week ago
@Hperman09 and @PeaceonEarth122, I totally respect your side of the argument and for a long time I thought just like you guys. But I'm not sure you understand the severity of Benoit's situation. Benoit's actions are both horrible and unforgivable that is true, but his perception of human emotions and judgement part of his brain was just completely destroyed. He couldn't think straight and make proper choices. I'm not in any way justifying what he did, that cannot be forgiven.
cmpunkfan34 1 week ago
Sorry @Hperman09, I forgot to put the @ before your name on my first comment. But please read it anyway, as the rest of this won't make much sense if you don't.

cmpunkfan34 1 week ago

Hperman09 1 week ago
R.I.P Chris, Nancy, and Daniel Benoit and thumbs up if you think Chris should be in the 2013 Hall of Fame.
cmpunkfan34 1 week ago
@Hperman09. Same goes for Chris. WWE should honor the good times, and respect all he has done both as a person and a wrestler. Chris Benoit immortalized himself in this business, and therefore deserves to be in the Hall of Fame someday. But how WWE could just cover up this incident and act like it never existed makes me sick!
cmpunkfan34 1 week ago
@cmpunkfan34 You're speaking this from a fan point of view which is quiet selfish. I have known Chris benoit since we first stepped in the WWF/E in 2000(I was 7 years old when i first saw him on RAW). As a wreslter, there is no doubt he's good but as a person not so much. Chris benoit was abusing his wife lately weeks up to the murders and even Benoit's neighbors said he was acting strange. NAncy was about to leave him along with his son. But regardless, it's no excuse what Chris did.
Hperman09 1 week ago
@Hperman09. What if someone else who pioneered the business did this? What if Shawn Michaels did this? Would we erase the greatest professional wrestler in history and act like he never existed? No, you would honor his memory and remember Shawn for the good times, and being the good person he was.
cmpunkfan34 1 week ago
@cmpunkfan34 If someone you loved were murdered by someone who had brain damage, would you say to let the guy off and forgive him? I highly doubt it and if you say different I doubt you are being honest with yourself. Even with Chris's brain damage he clearly had to know right from wrong and he had no problem for killing 2 people. Mick Foley took many damages from wrestling than Benoit does yet he resisted killing his family. Quit justifying a guy who killed his own innocent kid and his wife.
PeaceonEarth122 1 week ago
@Hperman09. Benoit was a great person who loved his family very much. Perhaps you need to do your research. Benoit's abilities to make judgement's and decisions were completely gone and he committed a crime of passion. One bad deed, especially one he did in the wrong frame of mind, most likely under limited or no free will does not erase his life of love and passion for his family or even his accomplishments in wrestling.
cmpunkfan34 1 week ago
If you ever see his parents, tell them he deserves to burn forever in fire and brimstone, I dare you!
cmpunkfan34 1 week ago
@cmpunkfan34 Chris benoit is a great man no doubt but his acccimplishments are irrelavant to the matter DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT HE BRUTALLY MURDERERED HIS WIFE AND SON. Who could honor that? Even Mick Foley and Jericho said it themselves. WWE is not just about wrestling, there is a humantarian part as well. WWE is also involved in some charitity projects like Make-a-wish foundations and Vince Mcmahon donate a lot of money to special needs children based on a WWE character name Eugene.
Hperman09 1 week ago
Hperman09. Good, WWE deserves to have that bad reputation after the way they treated a great man like Chris Benoit. Obviously dropping from 5 ft+ and landing directly on your head is gonna fuck you up. Although I agree Benoit should've known better, WWE medical personell and leadership staff should've known better too and prohibitted such moves.
cmpunkfan34 1 week ago
@cmpunkfan34 I'm not saying WWE isn't innocent either. Vince was a fault for pushing Benoit to work every night when he clearly needs break. But Benoit doesn't need to be in the WWE or anyone else. If any, he could have left the company for TNA or Japan where there is easier work there but no he chose to stick with the grind with his working fulltime. It's truth that Benoit agreed to use the headbutts as a signature move and agreed to take the bumps. It's fact of life.
Hperman09 1 week ago
As far as Benoit being mentioned goes, they don't have to praise him like he's a WWE Legend (even though he is), but mention his goddamn name! Everyone who ever knew Benoit would tell you about the dedicated wrestler and family man, not the murderer. Even though what he did was horrible, one action does not erase his whole life of passion and dedication. The man was insane, had the brain of an 85 year old dimmentia patient, furthermore it was WWE's fault for alowing him to do such moves.
cmpunkfan34 2 weeks ago
@cmpunkfan34 You're fucking stupid. No matter how good or bad he is in the ring, you can't separate from wrestler to person. The final hours of his life destroyed his reputation. WWE didn't put a gun to Benoit's head and say do what we told you to do. Benoit wanted to take the bumps and work full time despite his knowledge what's going on his body. Heard of god's given free will? It was Benoit's choice and he chose to take a coward's way out. It's not WWE's fault that he committed the acts.
Hperman09 1 week ago
@cmpunkfan34 Chris could have gone to TNA or Japan where there is easier work schedule and better treatment but he chose to stay in the WWE and work full time. WWE is a public company, they had an image to uphold. Look at from the business point of view, not a fan point of view. Benoit wasn't mentioned because it would bring bad image to the WWE and ruined public relations with everyone involved. If you think WWE should mentioned him again, i strongly suggest you need to be on Vince's shoes.
Hperman09 1 week ago
@TheFredster2114, Daniel and Chris have almost the exact same move set man! If you changed DB's kicks to chops, the Benoit family would sue him for copyright infringement. Maybe it is you who needs to check their facts. Watch videos of Lebell lock and Crippler Crossface as well as both superstars doing diving headbuts, you will see no difference.
cmpunkfan34 2 weeks ago
Now WWE is trying to make a new Chris Benoit and his name is Daniel Bryan.
The two use the exact same move sets. DB's finisher is even the Crippler Crossface! And he even uses the Diving Headbut.
The Diving Headbut needs to be a banned move because it's to dangerous for the competitors.
At the very least don't slap Chris Benoit fans in the face by making a whole new one and acting like the real one never existed!
cmpunkfan34 2 weeks ago
@cmpunkfan34 You're the BIGGEST idiot ever!
TheFredster2114 2 weeks ago
The real reason WWE never mentions Benoit, is not really to avoid controversy, but to cover up their own faults.
Benoit had the brain of an 85 year old dimentia patient. Those head injuries came from the Diving Headbut he always did. WWE knew that was an extremely dangerous move, but they let him do it anyway.
cmpunkfan34 2 weeks ago
@cmpunkfan34 Stupid, WWE covered him up because Beonit killed his family then to himself. Why mentioned a murderer? You see, WWE was involved in a lot of funding to charities, etc and that Benoit murder-suicide would be a bad publicity to the company. Benoit doesn't need to get mentioned and plus Chris Benoit's father already sued the WWE for not mentioning Chris's name again.
Hperman09 2 weeks ago
WWE's attitude toward Chris Benoit totally pisses me off. They try to act like he never existed.
Granted he did kill his wife and kids, but superstars that knew him remember him for being the most dedicated wrestler and a family man. It's not like they never have to mention his name ever again. The man accomplished as much as most Hall of Famers, he's one of the best! He deserves to be mentioned.
cmpunkfan34 2 weeks ago
@cmpunkfan34 No, he doesn't need to get mentioned. WWE tends to stray from controversy, and that's what they've been doing for years now. Yeah, he was a great wrestler, but like you said he did something wrong and Vince would be a stupid fuck if he mentioned the man who caused it.
TheFredster2114 2 weeks ago

Michael Cole actually referred to this win during the Royal Rumble the other night. He said, "Only two men have entered at number one and won the Rumble; one of those men was Shawn Michaels." So much for WWE completely eliminating all references to Benoit.
hightimesbruce 1 month ago
@hightimesbruce I think one of the reasons WWE's doing that, is because they don't think they can get another Shawn Michaels, but they think they can get another Chris Benoit. If you noticed, the LeBell Lock is the Crossface, and we just saw Benoit use the same chokehold that Daniel Bryan uses. It's a shame they think that. Benoit is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, and the WWE needs to give him the respect he deserves.

R.I.P. Benoit.

Why can't you children just grow up and stop trying to turn every post into a war.

I'm trying to enjoy my life, not be busy and play a moral freak who's obsessed with other people's personal life when they provide me with entertainment.
fleshnbone187 4 months ago
@fleshnbone187 Well entertainment is was really matters here. Go ahead and bury your head in the sand then. Just remember to cheer as loudly as you can when you see him apply the crossface and you picture him doing it to his wife and child. Age may be just a number but maturity comes with age. I am truly concerned for your generation.
trekfanful 4 months ago
@trekfanful Look, I know what went down at Benoit's house was a terrible, terrible accident, but there's not a damn thing about it I can do. I'm not a sensitive douchebag who mixes up personal events with what a guy does as a job. What Benoit did in a ring was out of this world and just because he lost his mind, doesn't mean I'm going to stop enjoying his amazing in-ring stunts. Crying wont solve anything, so just enjoy your life while you can. And lol @ the generation bullcrap. You're (cont)
fleshnbone187 4 months ago
@trekfanful (cont) probably a 15 year old shit talker that fronts like you've been through generations. Bitch please! I wont believe you for a second and you are not doing any favors to this world you so dearly claim to care about when you're spending your time on a video about somebody you hate. I don't think Jeffrey Dahmer is in a good place now he's dead, but I wont go to every single video concerning and type "murderous scumbag". And unlike Benoit, he has no redeeming values.
fleshnbone187 4 months ago
@fleshnbone187 What redeeming value would that be? Bottom line is this. You and anyone else who makes excuses for this guy are gutless cowards. I'll tell you why.: you can not accept the reality of Chris Benoit. It happened. You feel the need to hide from it, excuse it or otherwise bury your fucking head in the sand. I'm done with this. Please stop sending me messages.
trekfanful 4 months ago
@trekfanful That he was a very good wrestler and also that he was not in the perfect mood either. "Gutless cowards"? Hah, a guy who's talking shit about dead people is calling me gutless. LOL! Go look in the mirror, dumb ass. And "hide" from what? Benoit is an entertaining wrestler with a load of quality matches that I can enjoy at any time? So what if he did something wrong in his personal life? That doesn't remove all the great he did in the ring. I can separate the man from the wrestler!
fleshnbone187 4 months ago
Thank God he won this rumble and the main event of Wrestlemania 20. That way WWE cannot erase him without realizing that they are just handicapping their own history.

Chris Benoit was so fucking good. Always enjoyed his matches.

I thought Bob Backlund held the record because he was in there for 1:01:10 at the 1993 royal rumble, he broke Flair's record at the 92 royal rumble when Ric was in there for almost 1 hr
Geez! Jim Ross was way off on his trivia

Chris Benoit the reason he became psychotic was because of the chairshots and failed Headbutts. But for who did he put his life in the line??? For us, to entertain us so don't put his personal life .He's dead, let him Rest in Peace with his family

@p0nkub0x How about YOU go fuck YOURSELF. Heartless bastard. Felling so sorry for a man who murdered his wife and child. You're obviously as big a coward as he was. Can't face the reality of your of fallen hero.
trekfanful 6 months ago
@trekfanful LETS FUCKIN START FOR A FACT THAT IF MURDERERS WERE COWARDS THEY WOULDNT BE MURDERERS IDIOT, second is that it Was never proven, they just came to a conclusion and closed the case, but NOTHING shows that it was benoit who did it, so get your facts straight, and if u dont believe me, search around everywhere, nothing shows benoit ACTUALLY did it, apart from a guess at the ortopsy, FUCKIN LOOK
p0nkub0x 6 months ago
@p0nkub0x Excuses on top of excuses on top of excuses. You know he did that shit. Everyone does. BTW plenty of cowards commit murder. You obviously don't understand the meaning of courage. Yeah, It takes a real brave man to tie up a much smaller and weaker woman and choke her out. It takes a brave man to drug a child and choke him out to. It takes an even braver man to kill himself to keep from facing the ramifications of those actions.
trekfanful 6 months ago
@p0nkub0x As far as I'm concerned, you can keep your idol who can do no wrong. You obviously need him.
trekfanful 6 months ago
@trekfanful was that u letting someone else hav an opinion? WOW never met one of those on youtube, hi
p0nkub0x 6 months ago
@p0nkub0x Everyone is entitled to their opinion. And everyone is entitled to disagree with everyone else's opinion. But that's just my opinion. I am perfectly willing to admit when I am wrong. But you have to prove to me that I am.

@JakeCreightz How could you miss that piece of shit? Poor Nancy and Daniel. I wish people showed half the regard to them as they do to the coward who murdered them in cold blood.
trekfanful 6 months ago
@trekfanful Yes, the coward who suffered from CTE, good one you single minded idiot.
JakeCreightz 6 months ago
@JakeCreightz So you buy into all the brain damage crap? He knew exactly what he was doing. He knew right from wrong. If not then why did he make all those bullshit phone calls talking about "food poisoning"? Everything he did points to premeditation. His father heard exactly what he wanted to hear. You and everyone like you disgust me. Enjoy watching your idol. Next time you see the "Crippler Crossface" picture him doing it to Nancy and Daniel.Enjoy.
trekfanful 6 months ago
@trekfanful Oh sorry! I didn't realise you were with Benoit in his last few hours! How the fuck could you know what Benoit was thinking? You didn't know him? How did you know about his medical history! Oh, you don't!

@mcdowall1995 Yeah, I'm with you on that mate!
JakeCreightz 6 months ago
@JakeCreightz So are you saying he did not know right from wrong? Obviously he did. Otherwise he would not have been covering for his absence from WWE events over the course of the weekend. Let's be honest here. If he had not had the status he had you and the other little children like you that obviously need Benoit so badly would not give a shit. Let's say for instance that it was a lower tier guy. You would acknowledge his guilt.
