Hasbro should quit trying to make crappy new large vehicles / bases like the RoC PITT and just re-issue the classic ones that actually worked like the Rolling Thunder and the original mobile HQ that Steamroller drove
Are those not nuclear missiles it? They have little detachable bombs on them, sort of like how some ICBMs have multiple warheads, albeit under the nose cone.
I had one of these when I was a kid in the 80's. Good memories! Growing up in the 80's/90's was awesome. Toys now days fuckin suck. Now days suck in general, all the hippies, and yuppie do gooders have completely steralized any kind of fun what so ever.
@salemcripple Hun?? wtf are you talking about? Yuppies are from the 80's, hippies from the 70's!
Plus all the toys I had as a kid (Star Wars, G.I. Joe, Transformers) have been remade in much superior form. The thing is kids don't play with action figures as much and who can blame them? You can imagine a war with plastic soldiers at $10 a piece, or LIVE the adventure on your PS3 or XBOX 360 in photorealistic environments. We would have done the same.
@plastique45 really? You're going to sit there and tell me there are no more hippies, or yuppies? Such things are frames of mind, not periods in time. Every "granola person", or treehugger that cares more about the enviroment than they do their own children, is near as makes no difference, a hippie. Every person that only wants a identical house, in the burbs, with two and a half kids is a yuppie, same as they were in the 80's.
rolling thunder; cuz having a big metal indestructible vehicle with machine guns all over it wasn't enough! so we added a bunch of canons, and two giant rockets! yea take that cobra commander, take a giant nuclear missile... to the head!
Now this was one awesome toy. I won one of ebay on Thanksgiving year before last almost in perfect condition. They sure don't make them like they used too, cuz the crap they're putting out now sucks big time.
Dang i wonder if anybody would buy this for a good price, i have the vehicle and most of the parts and i think i still have the box in bad condition though, all at my parents house.
I know. If I'm not mistaken, the Super Trooper commercial (circa 1988) was the first to use incorporate a live-action action scene. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be on YouTube.
Damn. That song was better than 90 percent of the garbage they play on the radio. To say I'm impressed, would not be far from the truth at all.

Sturmdude 7 months ago
@Sturmdude NO it is machine gun, cannon
YambidiBlamBlam 3 months ago
@YambidiBlamBlam oh, a machine gun that shoots cannons! That's just as awesome.
Sturmdude 3 months ago
@Sturmdude No, it has machine guns, and a cannon, and a rocket tower like the song says.
YambidiBlamBlam 3 months ago
@YambidiBlamBlam no I'm pretty sure the machine gun cannon are one and the same, like the song says. I think you need to watch it again brew.
Sturmdude 3 months ago
@Sturmdude OK then, I concede, maybe you are right. I always thought that the machine gun was the gun up front, not machine gun cannon.
