Although I have a Kronos and an M3, I miss my maroon monster. The karma implementation was more simple back then and the algorithms less busy and the melody could "breath" inside the composition. You are a skilled keyboard player. I enjoy your work. - Sam Utah

I hae always had trouble assigning Mudules to buttons and knobs. I can assign / turn on or off moodules using the 4 knobs on the far left, but can't tell a module (For example) how to turn on or off using pitch bend. I wish there was a simple man's way to teach this

I love the Karma keyboard ! I had a Production partner who placed one in our studio. Man the work I produced with that baby ! When my partner left , the Karma left with him. no doubt the red beast is awesome. would not trade mine for the world. its amazing what they aer selling for on ebay. for an instrument that has been out of production for almost 5 years i think.

@bmstylee red beast korg karma is a misunderstood keyboard in the marked in 2001 korg corp do a bad work of announced it but stephen kay work hard to open ups peoples eyes to see whats inside this read maroon, karma system open up a new tool for all realtime performance artist on stage with korg karma. herbie hancock Phill collins Jordan rudess used it says much to what korg karma have to efford in making music. i love mine and i keep it. hope i have inspired some to use it more.

@hoggy82003 yes i use a sustain pedal + volum pedal to my keyboard korg karma on zoom 002 you hear i use it my sustain pedal to get more life into the song i use a combi setup in that song and its kicks in the huge sound when i use the pedal awsome actually effect love it:))

@EVguitarsNW assign and the chord trigger buttons, you just push on assign button then do chord setting do the same new chord setting on next white button assign next chord setting and assign next chord setting and then you have four chords, what type of chords is up to you fat or small:) try out you are welcome to ask for more help later but try this first now see it if works. i will make a dvd tutorial for korg karma with four others this year. i think that will help you a lot:)

@EVguitarsNW assign-make a chord assign make a chord assign make a chord assign make a chord then chek out if you now have four chords that you made ok!!! to hold a chord is to use the pedal, explaine how you think to use this in a song??. as i do i push a white chord trigger button do the melody line to it and then change to next white button to go further in the song, then change to white chord trigger button and do more playing in right hand and in the end i just do a chord

@ikkejick good choice to get a korg karma, yes all is made with use of one of the combi in the E bank nr 083 from factory presets, the karma system and ge.s is the engine in a korg karma, i can learn you when you get one. be sure to get one with system os 2,0 since you then can use a whole combi and copy that into the internal seaqencer. thtas make you making a song quite quickly. i am going to make a dvd tutorial for korg karma later this year. you will by it on E bay then:))

@ikkejick korg karma can do a lot:)) chordtrigger buttons four of them realtime buttons for realtime performance, you have combi and program you have lots of phrazes to use in karma mode. four karma modules with four different phrazes makes korg karma to blow you away with motif is a champion!!!

the red korg karma keyboard has two synths inside the korg and the triton synth engine:))

it has lovly drums set and karma set for many ours of joy. the red korg karma is a workstation and a powerfull one. check out on e bay you find korg karma for sale there from 699 to 1200 dollars. in good shape too:)) ok hope this help you:)) good luck with what ever you by of keyboard

Sweet jam, ballade -

I miss my Karma so much -my sound board went on the fritz a year ago, and it was gonna cost me $600 to get it fixed so I trashed it. I never should have done that - it was and is still ahead of its time. I've never played with a more inspiring, expressive synth - and I've played a lot of synths.

Steven - if you're out there....I'll buy an extra one if you have it lying around your house! I'm serious!!

I saw the picture of the Karma software creator? What is his name? I remember I read about him in Keyboard magazine, and he devoted several years of his life to develop the Karma software. He bet everything on it, including his family welfare. That was a big dedication of his. I just forgot his name...
