...sorry..it wasn't a question :/ there is a step by step in pictures with noted instructions. I mention this because I was literally everywhere looking for this "tutorial"/ video and could not find it anywhere..obviously. haha....it was frustrating but..yeah..on the blog, under 12 tags of Christmas on the left (2009), then scroll down. Thanks! Jules
Hi Arlene, just need to ask...There is no tutorial on TH blog. I even emailed him and , surprisingly, he replied and said he never made a tutorial on the flower...?...he said he did a step out on the 12 tags of Christmas...so I just wanted you to know that it's on that.
For this flower you use Grunge paper but I notice that in your mini albums you use Grunge board, what is the difference? I have seen Grunge board at Michaels but what about grunge paper? Thanks By the way love love love this flower. It is so beautfiul.!!!
Hi there! Grungeboard is alot thicker than grungepaper, almost closer to chip board. The Grungepaper is thinner and more pliable (bendable for the rose petals), almost more like card stock. :-) hope this helps and thank you so much for your sweet comment! :-)
Cute flower!! I love the idea of putting your vintage finding bud in the centre! I make my own glimmer with metallic acrylic paint lol, not that great but better than nothing :o) ah... One day... :o) TFS x
Can't find Grunge Paper around here anywhere (local). Will have to buy on the net but I just hate waiting sometimes for this stuff to come in the mail....lol Thanks for the video!! Merry Christmas!!
You will love the Gypsy once you get it! I know that I love mine so much! It makes things so much easier and I have taken it out of town with me so that I can get that scrapbooking time in even when I don't have my stuff with me. :)
Super cool. Great Idea about the Cricut and cutting flowers. I just looked at my cartridges and found the flower that I have run over town looking for in a punch. Wow! It was right under my nose. Thanks for turning the light on.
cool now i don't have to buy a new di. This is really good news. I think my husband is going to go crazy if I say I am going to buy something else. :) TFS
When you were explaining how to mix your own glimmer mist you said you put a scoop of the perfect pearls... I am wondering what size or measurement is the scoop? Thank you.
Love the grunge flower! I was hoping you could recommend a medium brown shade of Glimmer mist to me. I have coffee shoppe and old lace. I love them both, but would like a color in between. I remember you saying on one of your vids that you love brown and have lots of the brown colors. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I cannot get Glimmer Mist locally, and it is so hard to tell the shade online at times.
I love working with the grunge paper but I can't get used to the smell. Everybody says they love the smell and it smells like leather to them. It does smell like leather but I don't like it., When I open a pack my whole house smell like grunge paper and I have to light candles. Thanks for all your wonderful videos.
oh goodness.......you and Bona just ROCKED these flowers!!!!! That is awesome Arlene!!! Hope Santa brings you the Gypsy because you will LOVE IT!!! ;) Hugs, T
Very beautiful Ar! I love the colors of your flower. Yay! Now, I'm going to check my cartridges for flowers. heehee I love the look with Grunge Paper. TFS!!!!
