  • What number setting on the deep cut blade do you use to cut grunge paper

  • I have the Platin cartridge and missed the 6 pedal flower!! Hahaha. Thanks for explaining on using the 5 pedal flower too!! Thanks :)

  • Thank you for the tips regarding the Cricut, I am going to check my carts right now!

  • Thanks so much for this video. Everyone always uses AE cart. Glad to know you can use other flowers to do this.

  • Hi, I found a 6 petal flower on my New Arrival (baby) cartridge, if anyone has that one! Thanks for sharing!

  • ...sorry..it wasn't a question :/ there is a step by step in pictures with noted instructions. I mention this because I was literally everywhere looking for this "tutorial"/ video and could not find it anywhere..obviously. haha....it was frustrating but..yeah..on the blog, under 12 tags of Christmas on the left (2009), then scroll down. Thanks! Jules

  • Hi Arlene, just need to ask...There is no tutorial on TH blog. I even emailed him and , surprisingly, he replied and said he never made a tutorial on the flower...?...he said he did a step out on the 12 tags of Christmas...so I just wanted you to know that it's on that.

    Thx for your video!

    Jules:)

  • Love these flowers! Thanks so much for sharing :-)

  • Hi, Great video! I use the old fashioned scissors to cut my flowers. :)

  • For this flower you use Grunge paper but I notice that in your mini albums you use Grunge board, what is the difference? I have seen Grunge board at Michaels but what about grunge paper? Thanks By the way love love love this flower. It is so beautfiul.!!!

  • Hi there! Grungeboard is alot thicker than grungepaper, almost closer to chip board. The Grungepaper is thinner and more pliable (bendable for the rose petals), almost more like card stock. :-) hope this helps and thank you so much for your sweet comment! :-)

  • Cute flower!! I love the idea of putting your vintage finding bud in the centre! I make my own glimmer with metallic acrylic paint lol, not that great but better than nothing :o) ah... One day... :o) TFS x

  • Can't find Grunge Paper around here anywhere (local). Will have to buy on the net but I just hate waiting sometimes for this stuff to come in the mail....lol Thanks for the video!! Merry Christmas!!

  • ohhhh i love those.. NEED GRUNGEPAPER, NEED GRUNGEPAPER, NEED GRUNGEPAPER! LOL

  • Bona...your so sweet to take the time to share this! Thanks so much!

  • You're welcome! But I'm not Bona. :-)

  • You will love the Gypsy once you get it! I know that I love mine so much! It makes things so much easier and I have taken it out of town with me so that I can get that scrapbooking time in even when I don't have my stuff with me. :)

  • Super cool. Great Idea about the Cricut and cutting flowers. I just looked at my cartridges and found the flower that I have run over town looking for in a punch. Wow! It was right under my nose. Thanks for turning the light on.

  • Smart! I never even thought of using my Slice for this!! I thought I was going to have to buy yet ANOTHER sizzix die!! TFS

  • Oh my god I love this idea,.... I totally love your videos.... I will try this for sure... Thanks for the tip....

  • Thank you so much! You're too sweet. :-)

  • i saw it in a piaceofcraftdotcom :) The flowers are beutiful.

  • cool now i don't have to buy a new di. This is really good news. I think my husband is going to go crazy if I say I am going to buy something else. :) TFS

  • HI! Where did u buy the grunge paper? I would love to try this. Thank You!

  • Oh and do you use or have you considered using SCAL?

  • SCAL? I'm not familiar with that.

  • Your flower is beautiful! I love all the flower vids I've been seeing lately! It's great to know that the cricut can cut grungepaper!

  • When you were explaining how to mix your own glimmer mist you said you put a scoop of the perfect pearls... I am wondering what size or measurement is the scoop? Thank you.

  • I take 1 heaping scoop of Perfect Pearls with the end of my paintbrush. :-)

  • Hi Arlene,

Love the grunge flower! I was hoping you could recommend a medium brown shade of Glimmer mist to me. I have coffee shoppe and old lace. I love them both, but would like a color in between. I remember you saying on one of your vids that you love brown and have lots of the brown colors. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I cannot get Glimmer Mist locally, and it is so hard to tell the shade online at times.

    Thanks, Jeannie

  • Suede and Caramel are super pretty. :-)

  • thanks so much...I have Suede on the way!

    Merry Christmas, Jeannie

  • I love working with the grunge paper but I can't get used to the smell. Everybody says they love the smell and it smells like leather to them. It does smell like leather but I don't like it., When I open a pack my whole house smell like grunge paper and I have to light candles. Thanks for all your wonderful videos.

  • cool...TFS....Liann

  • I love my gypsy!!!

  • oh goodness.......you and Bona just ROCKED these flowers!!!!! That is awesome Arlene!!! Hope Santa brings you the Gypsy because you will LOVE IT!!! ;) Hugs, T
