should the US or Europe collapse or w/e, the world will not necessarily fall into total chaos, but nature abhors a vacuum, so something would have to fill the void. A power vacuum left by Europe or the US would be filled by Russia and China. China is the greatest concern in this regard, for life is extremely cheap in Asia and the west will not allow that sort of brutality to visit it's shores again.
