I have started off loving and grown to hating Moffat's stupid two parters. He has a brilliantly massive cliffhanger and then the beginning of the next episode has absolutely no resolving of the massive problem presented in the previous episode. It's like autotune in a song. Cheating.

Just curious but would doctor,widow,wardrobe episode count towards the 14 episodes or is next christmas the 14th episode?

Lol I actually already knew about this. A pity the cliffhangers will be gone - it's one of the the few elements of the original series that semi-survived the transition from 89 to 2005.

@Aspergianstar2009 Moffat said that there would be no overall story arc for this season, and if that rings true, then were will have absolutely "stand alone" episodes. Maybe I'm guessing, but I can't help but wonder if this decision has to do with the imminent 50th Anniversary coming up.

Sweet! I do like it sometimes when a story goes over two episodes but most of the time I think they should just be kept for series endings

Yeah.. No two parters.. NO OVERALL SERIES STORY ARC EITHER. Miss that part? Plus this coming from the guy who wrote some of the best two parters in the series. Why not just call WHO TREK and get it over with if disjointed episodes is all we will get from here on out?

i sure hope Season 7 will be a good one.

i don't know though, Moffat will no doubt include all this "wibbly wobbly timey wimey" shit like he does in every season. it doesnt do Doctor Who justice at all.

Also, i hope that there will be less episodes set on Earth. I hope they re-design the cybermen as well into ones that look more like the "Earthshock" cybermen.
