  • Fat and cholesterol can actually prevent heart disease. Sugar causing insulin is the real culprit behind bad health.

  • Thanks for the info my doctors keep wanting to push Statins but I'm such a sceptic when it comes to pharma. How do we clean our drinking water? That's another issue

  • I am your new subscriber! You are amazing!

  • "Promulgated," not "perpetrated"

  • Great video! I make my own cold pressed coconut oil.

  • I have to confess... I watched this video because I wanted to hear what kind of nonsense you were going to preach. Boy was I duped! Talk about getting an education...great points and made 100% sense! Have you done a video on Fatty Liver and how it's developed? That would be a great topic. Thanks for the education.

  • What about using Organic Olive Oil?

  • Very interesting video. I have one question though, what do you think about the documentary Fat Head? (specifically the part about saturated fat elevating LDL and especially HDL)

  • @noncasus Hi there. I saw Fat Head and I mostly liked it. Saturated fat is good for you. Transfats on fries and cheap meats r awful. He also only focused on the old fat/protein/carb issue, but failed to address the biggest problem with fast foods: low quality meat pumped full of hormones/steroids/antibiotics/grain fed=sick tortured animals. Also full of MSG, preservatives, additives, flavor enhancers etc which all are bad and cause inflammation which rises cholesterol lvls to soothe the damage.

  • @LifeMattersChannel There's more to it than this. Coconut oil specifically has beneficial effects because it contains a high concentration of lauric acid.

  • If peope want to know more about this topic they can watch The Oiling Of America by Sally Fallon!! All the best!!

  • @mokugin81 I have to check that one out, thanks for sharing :)

  • Fantastic Vid! Thanks for the info.

  • Olive oil which is a vegetable-sourced monounsaturated fat, is only healthy when it is used for some light-heat applications like light sautéing or baking. Olive oil is best used for cold applications.

It is best to cook food in saturated fats: duck fat, goose fat, beef tallow, butter, ghee, lard (pork fat), coconut oil, palm kernel oil, and red palm oil.

  • I agree!

  • Amazing video 5*. Saturated fats and cholesterol have been on this planet sins the dinosaurs(maybe even before that). Its the excessive amounts of polyunsaturated fats and trans fats(NOT the trans fats found naturally in raw milk and grass fed animals)that are the killer. If one do not consume animal products, I would still recommend loading on raw organic butter every ones in a while because it is cruicial to your health.

  • Great Video!! Great Infos!! Not Another video pushing Junk Science! Read The Obesity Epidemic by Zoe Harcombe! Its a Fab Book!!!

  • Another AWESOME movie, thank you!

However, it would have been nice if you briefly discussed heriditary high-cholesterol. Most of my family (except me) have this and they *need* cholesterol-lowering medication, else they'll explode...or something.

    Thanks again! :)

  • And yet again you have opened my eyes to something important! Good things to know, as always! Thank you! :)

  • Another Great informative video, i will remember this when cooking my next omelet..

  • FTW!

  • keep up the good work

  • @DreadEyeX1 Thank you very much :)
