  • PLEASE, tell me how do you record your screen?. When I use Camtasia or AutoScreenRecorder the screen gets black. Please.

  • @TodayTheSkyIsBlue I'm using QuickTime on my MacBook Pro.

The effect you see (black screen) might be due to a technique called Video overlay (just google it) and should be solvable by using a program like FRAPS on windows (but I never tested it).

  • amazing@!!!!

  • I love it ♥

  • I'm proud to know how to play all the way til' the green start going fast xD

  • want to be able to play this soo bad... love it ♥

  • Usually with these things I just copy down the note names on a piece of paper, play them over and over until they're "programmed in" then work on the timing. But tbh I can't be asked with this one :P Too much to copy D:

  • Learned the green part in like 2 or 3 days. (to play with no misstakes)

The blue part seems impossible now lol.

  • awesome as fuck

  • GRANDEE!!! =) THX!

  • Thank you so much for this vid and midi file! It looks so hard to play but I'm gonna practice :)

  • This is so easy

  • Challenge accepted.

  • Awesome, Awesome, Awesome, Awesome, Awesome =)

  • I LOVE HOW THAT ONE PIANO KEY STANDS OUT AGAINST THE REST AND MAKES THE SONG WHAT IT IS :58-1:14

  • Thank you for this :) This will save me a lot of time

  • looks like guitar hero for piano ;)

    PIANOHERO !

  • @TheStevieDeluxe Actually that was the name of the software before Activision requested to change the name due to trademark infringement. It's now called Synthesia ...

  • over 35000 views, and 0 dislikes, is this really YouTube? not that i don't like it but, at alost every beautiful song, there are dislikes! :S:S:P

  • @RoOdKoP61 please don't say that,it always ALWAYS ends up jinxing the video. No rudeness or blaming intended.

  • Thank you so much <3

  • WOW !!! J'adore cette pièce :)

  • I thought that little circle on the Middle C was a dirt smudge on my monitor and I tried to wipe it off... hahahahahahah

  • @Iammikelew No matter how many times i look at it,it still looks like a dirt stain considering the quality of my screen :3

  • @Iammikelew Hahaha. That's hilarious!

  • i just got done learning this piece and it only took me about 3 hours! It helps A LOT when u have this and the sheet music. Not as hard of a piece as I thought!

  • @1m2r3blob Lol, 3 hours, you're so lucky. I've decided to start to play the piano, and even though I've never played piano before, I was happy to manage to playe the first part (until 1.20) after 1 week of practice, then it gets very hard... And it took you 3 hours 8(

  • @Morephine22 ... no, nothing against them (these cute tunes, I mean), but they are very common in French films, cant think of many anglo-saxon films with same .... except The Piano .....

  • @flogistonband oh ok I understand. I myself am a pianist...

  • @Morephine22 by cutsey I mean light, airy, whimsical .... dont much care for the French myself, they ARE awesome, but only at a distance, the greater the distance the more awesomer .... and vice versa ....

  • @flogistonband Ah so I see. Yes, indeed but light, airy, and whimsical can be considered in many depths.

  • omh! that is too hard for me. i learn it by myself, but this is for Professionals,

    (but i wanne try it)

  • @naoompje123 I am quite the beginner and only play my piano casually. This is hard, but it comes with practice - I have trouble changing chords on the fast part, but just let your muscle memory work it out for you. Trial and error - practice is everything. :)

  • @tomvidarmichalsen okay, ;)

  • It sounds to me like it was inspired by The Piano by Michael Nyman .... the French love these cutsey soundtrack themes, Diva, Big Blue, Betty Blue, Jean de Florette, etc ... all have the 'theme'

  • @flogistonband what? What do you mean the french love "cutsey" soundtrack themes? french are awesome!

  • ... :o i swear to god: the skills he had doing that thing got me completely stunned/amazed/whatever o.o good go!!

  • Thank you so much for making this!!!

  • @Spellbreaker1979 me too' <:

  • I am learning this piece and it is not as difficult as i thought

  • Thank you so much for making this

    it helps a lot

  • thank you!

  • great!!!!!!!!!

it helps a lot thankU guy :D

plz make more yann tiersen tutorials :)

  • Thank you squire.
