  • Hey Rick. what do you think about the AIRFORCE TALON P?

  • @MrSammad468

I have not shot it yet.. it should be a good gun... it is really more of a carbine and not a pistol.

    Cheers

    Rick

  • Hey Rick is the fitting on this gun fit onto any fitting like an air compressor. If so would it be able to fill up by an air compressor. Sorry for a very stupid question asked. I have no clue about those kind of guns. Also if not was is that gauge fitting that u put on the air tank called.

  • @Luckylau89

Nope.. it is an HPA (high pressure air) fitting. You need 3000 psi.. your standard shop compressor tops out at 150 psi.

    Cheers

    Rick

  • Is this good for hunting??

  • @2468texaspete

    Yes.

    Rick

  • Did you try JSB Exact pellets in this gun?

  • @threelittleniglets

yep.. there is a ridged o-ring in the breach that tends to deform the skirt on JSB pellets. The Crosman Premiers gave the best groups.

    Rick

  • Would this be a good gun for like dove and squirell or should i go with the benjamin discovery????I need it to be able to take a squirell or dove at around 50 yards.

  • @2468texaspete

It has the range and accuracy.. but the weight, being so light, will make those long shots tough. You will be better off with a heavier gun like the discovery or the Marauder.

    Cheers

    Rick

  • @AirGunWeb ok thanks i will probably go with the marauder rifle

  • i have this gun coming in the mail they say yall going to be sending it on the 22nd ;) you make this gun look so nice and easy to shoot

  • gotta save up my money after buying the Marauder rifle so that I can go out and get this sweet looking Marauder pistol too! Great review.

  • @Snarkler1968

Thanks again for the kind words.

    Rick

  • are you going to review the Outdoorsman 2250XE in the back ground?? and great video by the way

  • @VOS38

Yep.. It is a beautiful gun for sure..

    Rick

  • @AirGunWeb ok thanks for the reply

  • Thanks

  • Review the Crosman Nitro Venom Dusk

  • @phillip42184

I have a Venom on order.. it is the hardwood version.

    Rick

  • I just got my Marauder .22 rifle last week. So far, I love it. Half inch groups at 40 yards and .90" groups at 60 yards. I am really considering getting the pistol version, very soon, with a red dot style sight for closer range game. I have read a lot of "love it or hate it" reviews on the forums. Do you think the quality control is good on this air gun overall? I love the fact that it shoots CHPP's very well. So far, my marauder rifle doesn't like anything but JSB exacts. Thanks.

  • @02stampede

I really like it.. and it is a cast metal gun.. yes it is a bit pricy for that class of gun, but when you start looking around, there's nothing that comes close to it for price, performance, and features.. so maybe the price is not too bad after all. I love my mrod pistol.

    Rick

  • @AirGunWeb Hello Rick,

I have to say that I have bought over 7 airguns based on you're reviews, Favorite being the Phantom.

I have a Tech Force 58 Contender and that is a gun that really stands out to me, above all others. I would absolutely love to see a review on the 58, as well as you're take on such a beautifully crafted airgun like that.

    Thanks

  • @assoriel

I can see what I can do. I believe they are out of stock at the moment.

    Rick

  • Are you planning to make a review on a Falcon Prairie ? I think its an exelent rifle for you to make a review of

  • @Tebanlol

I would love to.. I'll see if I can get one.

    Rick

  • @AirGunWeb For hunting small game like squirrels and rabbits, would you recommend the pistol or one of the original Marauder models?

  • @QuesoJim

Inside 40 or 50 yards.. I'd take the pistol with me.. much easier to carry around and handle.

    Rick

  • @QuesoJim orignal

  • Can you please do a review of the Benjamin 392?I would really appreciate it.That other guy paul cappello that does airgun reviews sucks. You do great reviews every time, and i appreciate you putting time into all these reviews for the benefit of your viewers.

    Best regards from panama.

  • @CathyAnneable

I have a 392 I plan to get to.. I've been a little busy with some other projects, but I'll get to it as soon as I can.

    Cheers

    Rick

  • do you think you can do a review on the gamo silent cat .177 cal air rifle?i'd really apreciate it.thanks im trying to get one and i want to know the deatails and there's not that many reviews already out there.and you get into the details that i want.thanks.

  • @SuperSmallgamer

All of Gamo's guns are basically the same.. same barrel, same mechanics, etc. The only difference (for most models) is the stock and optics. So if you've seen one, you've seen most.

With that said, I can ask gamo to send me one and see what happens.

    Cheers

    Rick

  • @AirGunWeb thanx.i really apreciate it

  • I love these rewievs! To take away the music was an amazing idea.

  • Looks like does good with those polymags, just like the trail np aw.......................

  • Can you use the Rotary Clip with the Discovery?

  • @JrSquirreler

no. at least not with a factory discovery (it is single shot).. this magazine only works with the Marauder Pistol.

    Rick

  • Hi Rick..I may have missed it..but did you mention how it does for longer ranges to maybe 50 to about 100 yards?..thanks again..(still waiting on the HW97K review)..maybe you can get the synthetic thumbhole version? that would be great!!!..in .22 pleeeeease!!!

  • @tommy2timez

I have not done that test yet.. but I will for sure.. I know that people hunt with this out to 50+ yards. I want to see if I can get it shooting well at 730ish fps which I'm sure won't be a problem. However.. I'm also testing the Talon SS which is more suited for the longer range stuff.. so we've got a lot of good videos on the way.

    Cheers!

    Rick

I'll as for the HW97K... I want to review the new "stainless" version..

  • im ordering a leapers 3-12x44 swat scope do you think it will hold up to my benjamin super streak .22 if it doesnt would it be difficult to get it fixed/replaced by pyramyd air?

  • @alrodrodriguez

It should hold up no problem.

    Rick

  • @AirGunWeb ok thanks it should be here by friday

  • @AirGunWeb the side wheel on my leapers accushot 3-12x44 seems a little loose is that normal if not do you know any way to tighten it?

  • @alrodrodriguez

I'm not sure.. drop them an email and see what they say.. then tell us so we know!

    Rick

  • Rick i have the P Rod and think it's one of the most accurate guns out there. At 30 yards i get dime size groups. I use the JSB match diabolo 18.1 pellets and they are very good pellets for the P Rod.As always great video.

     Mike

  • I like the use of music when you go to a graphic, I did find it distracting in other videos mostly because my hearing isn't the best.

Nice gun but because of our laws I can't get one. I do have a Crosman PCP Silhouette that is very similar, slower, single shot, not shrouded, but very accurate.

Will you be doing a video set up as a pistol. I'm mostly interested in the optic set up you'd use.

  • @traog

I will be looking at it in pistol format. It is a little awkward, but still nice to shoot.

    Rick

  • I personally wouldn't spend that much on a pistol/rifle that had parts from a rat catcher on it. especially as most of the big pcp makers produce a pistol version of their guns.

  • @ThePhantomtickler

Aren't most of those big pcp gun manufacture's pistols 2, 3, and 4 times the money? Which models are you speaking of specifically? The price point / performance of this little gun is great in my opinion. But I've not done much with the really high end stuff. I think it will be interesting to put a really high end pcp against the Marauder rifle from a performance perspective. I wonder if they give you $1800 worth of better accuracy and power.

    cheers

    Rick

  • @AirGunWeb

Falcon do a pistol version of their light hunter also Brocock do a pistol although i'm not sure whether the export their stuff to the US. The Brocock starts about £275 and the Falcon is a bit more at £300 ish. Also there's the hunting master line of pistols, but i don't know about price on them as we don't get them here in the UK (Mainly because pistols are restricted to 6 F/Lbs power)

  • Ah i love how you removed the background music!

  • tell you what rick i have just looked up this pistol over here, and you think its dear at $400 they are asking £400 which is around $750 here, so i guess i wont be getting one soon shame its a beaut..

  • Wait..music..but maybe like Guns n' Roses or something ....

  • @tommy2timez

hum.. G N R.. I wonder if they'd give me rights to use their stuff.. it would be cool... :)

    Rick

  • No music! .. great review as usual..

  • very nice gun and nice review rick, i need to get one of these even if it will be restricted to lower than 6ftlbs over here...

  • I like the music. it suits your videos!

    Great show!!

  • dang it...u just HAD to release this one on payday...argh.

so...which leapers mount? man..wish pyramydair would make a airgunweb package with all of what was used in the review.

  • @mofoq

I'll be posting this on my website just look for aigunweb in google or go to my channel page for the link. Anyway, I'll have all the items listed there.

    Cheers!

    Rick

  • forgot to say. In €urope Crossman 1377 pump action pistol is 94 € or 126 $ .

  • I've been waiting for someone to review this great gun. Im in the fence between this and its big brother. Now its just tine to save some $. Thanks Rick. Please don't stop these reviews.

  • That gun is very accurate! I wouldn't buy it though just because it is kinda underpowered imo for longer range shots at crows and woodchucks.

  • Do whatever makes it easier for you to make more videos. Thanks for all the great reviews

  • Much better without background music

  • idk why but to me scopes on guns like these just look silly to me. i feel like if i were to spend that money on an airgun, i would rather just buy a rifle. although i guess its lighter for most people, just for me i dont like the looks. great review though!

  • I prefer the music!

  • I like back ground music

  • 1st

  • Ok Guys.. no background music on this one.. Let me know if you like it better or if you prefer the background music! Thanks!

    Rick

  • @AirGunWeb Better with the background music, BUT, maby change the music theme? it got old a while back, or maybe use the begining soundtrack and for the mid cut sections something else . Btw guns are soo cheap in such a gunny place as USA .Lets say Crossman 1377 pump action pistol is 94 € or 126 $ .
