  • I hope HJG works in FSX. You can tell me IF it does not, because I accept the daring truth about HJG.

  • God you aawesome.... wish I was your student or something.

  • wow, this is a pretty good sim. engines sound just like the old JT8Ds

  • What is the name of this game?

  • Used to see these all the time growing up near IAH. Love it!! Thanks!

  • Very stupid video

  • WHAT A SMOOTH LANDING!

  • I flew a 727 like this on Aug. 25, 1982 PHL>IAD. It continued on (without me) to IAH and then SDO. Flight 195. The gate guy upgraaded me to first class for the 50 min flight as I was in college!

  • Brilliant video, the 727 does look damn fine with winglets as well!

  • AWESOME VIDEO!

  • where did you get the scenery?????

  • Hate to burst your bubble, the paint livery was not from the 60s or even the 70s. This is from the mid-late 1980s. The original golden jet had a black meat ball...after Frank Lorenzo bought the airline and took it through bankruptcy, the "New Continental" began using the red meatball.

  • You gotta love the Continental 727. I recomend the HJG 727-100 in Continental's 60's colors. By the way, where did you get that scenery?

  • Remember Juju? CO Air Mikes first 727-100. I was at Chuuk (Truk) airport (4,500 ft crushed coral) when it landed there for the first time in April of 1968. We all got the grand tour. After living in a grass hut we felt like we were entering a flying saucer! Air Mike lost only two aircraft with no loss of life operating under these conditions for two decades. I'll never forget the takeoff's in ground effect, and stopping the landing roll with 200 feet to spare. I salute CO Air Mike!

  • Was that visual? If so, nice job with the descent. If not, nice job anyways.

  • just realized last weekend the HJG had made a 727.,...love it...

  • this..... is..... !CLASSIC! I like this JTD screaming

  • cant get enough of the triple slotted flaps

  • Dude. 727 is one of the OLDEST, the first flight of 727 was in 1963!

  • FAIL! The 727 went out of production in 1984 and first rolled out of the Boeing hanger in 1963 or 64.

  • i didnt know, i dont care

  • nice! Which airport and scenery is this?

  • Berlin Tegel X

  • I used the same one in one of my vids, it is a great aircraft!

  • Awsome, i love the 727

  • Isn't the 727 a sleek looking plane? With its T-tail design and sharply angled vertical stabilizer, it already looks fast on the tarmac. :D

  • Hey very nice video Jon, may i ask what software you use to record your videos?

  • Fraps

  • Ok sweet, you must have a top notch pc, fraps really hits the framerates hard on mine. Oh is this fsx? if so what environment software do you use the clouds look amazing.

  • its fs2004 ha

  • actually it is fsx

  • no its not unfortnately, jon makes only fs9 vids

  • He uses the slow down technique to record in slow motion and speed it up so he gets smooth videos :)

  • actually this is full speed

  • No, It Isn't

  • Yes, it is.

  • Ah! History is great.

  • hey Jon does this 727 come with those sounds or did you have to download them? and where do you get all your scenery from? anyways Great Video as always!

  • Nice Video nice plane. i give you 5/5. I like the 727 and its easy to fly .

  • I love HJG, if only they did VCs. I have tried making one in Gmax, but my skills and patients are limited.

Anyhow, great video, wish I could land like that!

  • Hey man, get on Skype ASAP!

  • what i dont like is that you dont have any gear flex or springs so you even if you go smooth it will look hard. if there was more flex it would look smother even if you hit it harder than he did.

  • is that the captain sim one?

  • This is from Historic Jetliners Group :)

  • 727's are still used in airlines today, mostly by midwest

  • awesome 727

  • i agree... can you please get a video of an El Al 747 or 777? that would be great
