I love the contrast of the very mature voice covering a very mature song, and the 5th grader laughing and joking between the singing :) It's like listening to a much older singer, and then an instantanious transformation back to a young girl. Love it! I have now heard this version more times than the original, and I still prefer this one. It now feels like Bruno Mars did a cover of a Denise song :)

I love this chorus and Mr. B but am I the only one who doesn't like her voice? Allow me to explain. I am a music teacher so I do know a bit about how the voice works. I'm not saying what I say is law, this is just my educated opinion. She has an insurmountable amount of talent, and I know she's only in 5th grade which makes it more phenomenal but she doesn't really know how to use her voice yet. She constantly forces and strains her voice. Once she learns how to use it she will be unstoppable.

I know this is Chorus, but I really wish our band teacher was like this. My band teacher at our school discourages us so much.
