This was suppose to be the second match of 3 against Vader. But after their first match at summerslam 1996 Shawn didn't want to work with Vader because Shawn was a bitch and cried about how Vader was too stiff in the ring. It was planned that Shawn would drop the title at survivor series 1996 & win it back @ the 1997 royal rumble in his hometown. I was so glad for Sid, I couldn't stand HBK and his male stripper gimmick. I loved how the MSG crowd booed HBK, under his championship reign the WWF f
@MrAlesana85 WHY YOU ALL HATE SHAWN MICHEALS HE IS GREAT WRESTLER. YOU HATE HIM CUZ HE WON THE TITLE 4 TIMES IN 25 YEAR IN HIS CARRER AND WHEN HE WIN THE TITLE IT ONLY LAST LIKE 2 MONTH AND CENA WHO WON THE TITLE 12 TIMES IN 6 YEARS AS FACE YOU LIKE HIM . WHATS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE ?????
@Theawesome1rumiz Yes Shawn Michaels is a great wrestler, i don't hate him "CUZ HE WON THE TITLE 4 TIMES IN 25 YEARS", nothing to do with that, I couldn't stand HBK in 1996 because he exposed the business at MSG with his clique & under his Title reign WWF fell second place in the ratings to WCW because no self respecting man at the time would want to watch a male stripper as world champion. Great Wrestler? Yes. Good Person? Fuck NO! And where the fuck did i type that i like Cena?
@peterp21 There was nobody more over than Shawn Michaels in Mid-1995-Mid-1996. He did a great job carrying the title during his first run as Champion. The problem was that he was a white-meat babyface at the time that the shift to the Attitude Era was beginning which caused the fans to turn on him. By the time this match took place, he had been champion and had been basically carrying the company on his shoulders for 8 months and the fans were ready for a change.
I love this match. Sid really exposed HBK as the un-over bitch that he always was. His lover VKM had to book him in his hometown in order to get more than 100 fans to cheer him getting the belt back. Then the cancer walked 3 weeks later because they wanted the belt off him for good! Sid was a monster and the fans loved him. HBK was a male stripper gimmick who posed in Playgirl (readership primarily gay males) who only was on top because he manipulated VKM into thinking he was worth a shit.
Looks like Sid almost fucked up at 2:55 -- he's clearly reaching for the video camera, but it looks like Hebner is reminding him that it's not time for that spot yet (he needs to get bumped first). Definitely a more creative ref bump -- they usually go for a whip out of a corner gets reversed back into the corner of origin where the referee has just moved into. Love the huge pop from the crowd when Sid wins the title -- the MSG crowd here really hated Michaels (as did I at this time).
Two awesome things about this match: How over Sid was with the crowd at MSG. North East cities like NYC and Philadelphia tend to always cheer loudly for the heels and 2) Notice the girl screaming "nooooooo" as Earl Hebner brings his arm around from the 2 to 3 count. I absolutely loved this era of the WWE. I was in my early teens and wrestling was just so enjoyable and fun back then. This was one of my favorite Survivor Series matches where the heel goes over. Second to Taker and Hogan from 1991
That guy Sid hugs at 6:59 if you look at all WWF Major PPV's from 94-98 that guy is always in the crowd in the front row. He is a funny looking dude so I thought he was part of the ring crew or was just a hardcore fan that followed WWF. Any info guys

sid and taker were to two scariest mofos in the 90s ...i was so damn excited as a kid when sid won this match. i hated hbk with a passion until mid 97
I was so fucking happy when Sid won the title here as I watched this PPV live as a 13 year old kid. I was one of the ones who disliked HBK very much at this time. It's hard to buy a guy as a Hogan-esque face when he's doing stripping dances in the ring. At least Hogan was manly, and I was also a huge Sid fan
@37Freakzilla A lot of people seem to forget this but he was the "Cena" of this period. Being shoved down our throats, stale gimmick and promos, kids and chicks liking him. I was a kid during this time and I was a huge HBK mark around this time and I remember hearing 'smarks' and the older crowd hating on HBK so much.
This was shocking back then because hbk was the man in this year and beat every body and held the title but hbk beat himself sweet chin music on sid but didn't cover him and it costed him but sid cheated
this is when matches were classic and exciting to watch. characters were believable and had a magic about them. todays characters are watered down & cant even begin to compare to the wrestlers back then. I think part of the problem is that big matches like this between 2 big names were something to look forward to but todays big name wrestlers are against each other on a weekly basis so there's no magic in the match when they face each other at big ppv's.
I really believe that John Cena is like the HBK of 1996. The face of the company and being pushed to the moon but doesn't have the impact of a Hulk Hogan or Stone Cold Steve Austin. They also have the same fan base, mainly girls and kids. I really wish that the next superstar to replace Cena will have the same impact as Hogan and Stone Cold.
@MrDarkstalker15 The difference is HBK puts on 5 star matches, and is the greatest in ring performer in the history of the business. Men hated Shawn because they were either envious of him, and/or they thought his gimmick was queer (fair enough). But one thing men did with HBK back then, and what they do not do with Cena, is they respected his talent. Cena flat out sucks and can't wrestle for shit (Hogan). But he has the big, superman look that gets him over with the kiddies (Hogan).
The difference is...smarks like you fail to realize...Hogan DIDN'T HAVE to wrestle. As a matter of fact, it was probably better for a man of his size to minimize high risk, high impact moves to be able to perform as often as he did. Hogan was the bell cow. He carried the WWF for six years. Cena is no comparison. Hell, Cena is closer to Diesel...a handpicked guy who VKM thinks LOOKS the part, even if the fans might not think he is. That being said, I don't hate Cena. Thats a waste
I really believe that John Cena is like the HBK of 1996. The face of the company and being pushed to the moon but doesn't have the impact of a Hulk Hogan or Stone Cold Steve Austin. They also have the same fan base, mainly girls and kids.
The real WWF title was history when they combined the 2 belts and put it on Jericho and after that they started putting it on guys like RVD and doing stupid things like making shawn lose to benoit, lesner lose to Guerrero. Jericho beating Austin and Rock is just not believable, and to think that the same title held by bret hart or Taker was also held by guys like cm punk, rvd. The legitimacy of the WWF title ended after that wrestlamania when they combined it with the wcw belt.
I dont care I dont know why ppl would say this 1 sukd... I watched it live N when Sid took th e camera of that guy n Hit Jose i thought that shit was real watchin it on PPV...Good match
It seems obvious to me that Shawn was supposed to take out the ref right after Sid hit Jose with the camera. By Sid's body language, the ref putting himself between the two during this time, and by a clearly pissed Vince not saying anything despite the finish occcurring. Also, Shawn clearly has no idea wtf is going on around him once he leaves the ring and just waits to have Sid toss him around and back into the ring. Sloppy as hell.
Vince failed to get HBK over with fans despite going out of his way to script all types of scenario's to make him big. NY didnt like him because he looked like a weak california garage band slacker rather then a supero hero like Hogan which WWF fans came to expect of a world champion. Sid came close here to resprenting that which is the reason they routed for him even though Michaels still was a face. I think they changed the ending on the fly once hearing the crowed reaction
@Gyro911 NY fans didn't like him because he's not like Hulk Hogan, they don't like him because girls and kids are his fans. Just what John Cena is now.
@MrDarkstalker15 Your right and wrestling was never intended for the female and rug rat demographic. Thats like putting a UFC fight in a daytime soap opera. What real wrestling fan wants to see a fag prancing around the ring
goodness gracious how over sid was during his last run in the wwf...this is no questions one of the last great wwf title wins...now we have wrestlers like the miz as champion smh
This is probably my favorite Sid powerbomb. Also, I love this match, Michaels bumps like crazy, and Sid is just a destroyer of everything. I've been watching wrestling since 1993, and this is the first match I can recall everything from start to finish, even after 5+ years since I replayed it at my house.
96, I WAS 5 YEARS OLD AND I WAS AT THIS EVENT. SHIT WAS INSANE I WILL NEVER FORGET IT. I REMEMBER WHEN THE UNDERTAKER FOUGHT MANKIND AND THEY HAD PAUL BEARER IN A CAGE AT THE TOP OF MSG. AND UNDERTAKERS ENTRANCE WAS THE SHIT HE CAME DOWN LIKE BATMAN WITH WINGS SHIT WAS INCREDIBLE. AND ALSO THIS WAS THE ROCKS FIRST FIGHT, I WAS IN ATTENDANCE. WWF DIED AFTER 2001
I remember in 2001 when austin and the rock faced off in the Royal Rumble... the crowd went nuts!.... 2 biggest stars in the company..... where last month at the rumble cena and orton got no reaction because they've wwe hasover-saturated their fueds and worn out their appeal. Its a sad day when 2 of the company's biggest names facing off doesnt really interest anyone.
@Ndure13 Definitely man. One correction on my last comment, I meant SD from 2002-2003. But I fully agree with you about wrestlers facing each other way too mauch. Kofi vs Dolph, and Kofi vs Swagger drives me NUTS, as does Orton and Cena. HHH/Rock/Austin faced each other throughout 98-01, but they were epic encounters everytime. But in nearly that same time span, Orton/Cena have nearly tripled the number of times they fought, including Cena squashing Orton twice in under 5 minutes sometime in 06.
the only reason shawn lost this match is so that him and sid could have a rematch at royal rumble 97 and shawn could regain the title in his hometown.
After the referee counted 2 on that pinfall, you can hear some woman shout "NO!". Likely some Shawn Michaels fan girl who doesn't want to see him lose.....
@girlgarde and look at the girl hanging over the railing during the count. top left screen. when hebner layed in the 3rd count she nearly faints LOL gotta love it
@Ndure13 I just think every part from 96-01 were just fantastic, and 02-02 for Smackdown, from 96-01 you had the best mix of pure wrestling, storylines, drama, excitement, and passion that you just don't get know. Guys could have the crowd in the palm of their hands like that, titles actually meant something, and epic matches were actually epic. Cena vs Orton my ASS.
@Swype87 Agreed 100%... titles have really lost their prestige... especially since that ridiculous "rematch clause" the night after every PPV... It doesnt feel like there's anything at stake anymore. And the same wrestlers wrestle eachother every god damn week on smackdown... Its unbelieveable how many times kofi and ziggler have wrestler eachother on the title on a weekly basis over the last 6 months.Same with cena and batsita/ orton.. the crowd didnt even care during he RR when they faced off.
i love how once they get behind the curtain, the dude will jump off the stretcher , shawn will stand up right, shake each others hands, and compliment each other on a great match, and go and get a beer !! :)
Back Then In This Time If Ur Favorite Wrestler Lost A Match U Would Get So Emotional That It Was Not Even Funny But Today It's All Like He Lost O Well F*ck It
hahah just noticed those bleeps just as he hit Shawn with camera were edited off the VHS version. Also they edited out all the UK stuff aswell after the match.
when title changes meant something. cool to go back and watch this compared to title changes today. you had to be someone to become heavyweight champion back then. nowadays too many guys have held the world title at some point. it doesn't mean as much anymore, especially considering how often belts change hands. I mean, does anyone really believe Jack Swagger or The Miz were believable world champions?
@reyparks It´s all in the booking. Swagger and Miz were both booked very weakly, making their reigns seem cheap and unearned. Of course heels are supposed to cheat and be cowardly, but they need to win and look good sometimes as well, otherwise there is no challenge for the face to beat them.
@artikel Not all heels need to be cowardly. Look at Austin when he first came in and was a heel. Nothing about him was cowardly. Same with Sid, or Vader. Guys like that.
@Antrizzle2009 Sure. But you kind of proved my point: Austin and Sid were turned face by the crowd because they were too cool to be heels. My original point was more at the extremes the wwe is going to now with its heels, which makes them look weak as hell.
@reyparks to me the WWE lost all credibility by putting the belt on Miz. I know a lot of people like him but I don't. Its killed the WWE for me. Nowadays they put belts on guys with the hopes it will get them over, back then u had to be over and established before u would be considered for a title.
@AirForceCountryBoy how u say that atlease bout miz hes been in wwe for almost 7 years now with tough enough and ect and have u ever thought just be cause there new to wwe tv that they came from some where eles beleave it or not vince dont make everything in wrestling perfect example cm punk was in tna and roh look it up on here and swagger got his push cause of jr liking him
@reyparks I was embarrassed when I saw Jack Swagger and The Miz as world champions. Those guys are not worthy of being world champions. Jack Swagger is like a gay version of Kurt Angle and The Miz is just the biggest faggit the WWE/F has ever seen and will always be so. He's not awesome, he "totally sucks". If you were good, you never had to say it because every wrestler knew it and the crowd knew it as well.
@DaLegendof007 Jack Swagger should never ever had been made Champion but I like the Miz actually has wrestling abilty and is gold on the mic. the only problem i have with the miz is when he fight Randy Orton or John Cena they make him look like he don't belong
@capucchan8 yeah here i'lll give ya a rundown since u still watch the trash they spew at us now..... Miz won the Money in the bank match do you know what that is? in 2010 he won the 8 man ladder match for RAW money in the bank contract he then would wait a few months and cash it i on Randy Orton who was WWE champ. Miz held the title from November till may... yeah that Long.. he main evented wrestlemania vs Cena which of course was trash and it shows how WWE is lacking talent and creative sucks.
Well it's not like we've never seen people like that before... *cough*Hogan*cough*Rock*cough*
All you need to do is be a showman, and entertain. The Miz has got that in spades.
The real problem is that everyone's talking about wanting a new Austin, or a new Rock, what they should be looking for is a new mat technician to rival Bret Hart or Kurt Angle that's not 5'2" like Daniel Bryan, or Tyson. After that get a new Heenan/Monsoon combo.
@jerichorocker1234 So is Tyson Kidd, in fact I think Tyson is better. He wrestles just like the Hart brothers used to. My problem with Daniel Bryan and Tyson Kidd are that they're so dinky tiny they look like little action figures I could put in my pocket and carry around with me. They need someone with another 6 inches and a bit more girth (is it just me or is this conversation turning south?) before I can really take them seriously as a real contender.
@RicoLen1 ok IMO tyson kidd and Danialson both are Great wrestlers... i would call then even they are to close for me to say who is Better Do i think they Need to be bigger? Yeah we know WWE loves Big men so,. it does hurt these Guys that their under 6 feet. BUT do i care? NO. both these guys DESERVE pushes Danial bryan is MINB winner so he is doing Fine while kidd is Jobbing.... Now here r some other good wrestlers.... Jack swagger, Drew Mcintyre, Cody Rhodes.... those guys got size as well :)
@jerichorocker1234 Yeah, problem is Swagger doesn't have a great onscreen personality developed yet, hopefully this thing with Eddie's widow pans out for him. Mcintyre I've honestly not seen. I don't watch smackdown much and I've only been watching Raw again since Bret Hart came back Jan 2010, before that I hadn't watched in like 7 years. Rhodes has everything (except a gimmick I like, but I guess that's typical these days)
I've been getting rumors of a cruiserweight revival. Tyson may get over.
@RicoLen1 yeah Creative Hasnt had anything to give swagger this past few Months thus why He was on Superstars for so long jobbingi like swagger but he needs something different with gimmick and Yeah Hopefully Vickie can help him.. im really starting to hate her she is annoying and i feel like she is feeding off eddie;s death... and Kidd will eventhually get Push. U have to watch mcintyre he is very good aggresive scot.... and Has been IC champ and was getting big push in 2009 .... now he Jobs..
@jerichorocker1234 "and Has been IC champ and was getting big push in 2009 .... now he Jobs.."
Heh isn't that how it always goes with the IC Champ these days? Vickie's a good heel... actually I'm liking her more and more lately, at first she annoyed the piss out of me though.
Ohwell, at least the product is going uphill again. Reminds me a lot of this time period we're watching on this video... Raw was garbage in 96, but the PPV's were good at least, and you could tell things were looking up.
@RicoLen1 yeah lot of IC guys anymore.. used to be the Belt that sent them to them to the top and Now it;s Like u win it and then either stay on Mid card forever " cough cough Kofi Kignston".. or U win it like Mcintyre and get jobbed...... or once in a while U get a Miz where he wins it and less then 6 months later he is WWE champ... so when was your favorite era of Pro wrestling WCW? WWF? plz tell. :) and yeah things are lookign up Cm punk is saving it and HHH :)
@jerichorocker1234 Golden Ages WWF in the 80's WCW in the mid/late 90's I started watching wrestling with WM3, so I grew up a fan of Randy Savage, then later came the early zombie-like Undertaker, haven't liked his later incarnations so much, then Mr. Perfect, and after that Bill Goldberg, and finally when WCW took a dump it was all about The Rock and Kurt Angle, after that I stopped watching until Bret Hart made his first appearance in the WWE in 2010 and I haven't stopped watching since.
LOL! SAME thing I was thinking man. Knowing that the Miz, some kid from the Real World, became WWE Heavyweight Champion.......Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Bob Backlund, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Steve Austin, Randy Savage (may be rest in peace), Ric Flair.....have to be shaking their heads....
This was 4 1/2 years later than it should have been, I was so pissed when he lost the 1992 Royal Rumble, I hated Hogan ever since then.

this is when matches were classic and exciting to watch. characters were believable and had a magic about them. todays characters are watered down & cant even begin to compare to the wrestlers back then.

MrDarkstalker15 7 months ago
@MrDarkstalker15 The difference is HBK puts on 5 star matches, and is the greatest in ring performer in the history of the business. Men hated Shawn because they were either envious of him, and/or they thought his gimmick was queer (fair enough). But one thing men did with HBK back then, and what they do not do with Cena, is they respected his talent. Cena flat out sucks and can't wrestle for shit (Hogan). But he has the big, superman look that gets him over with the kiddies (Hogan).
Giampietro131 7 months ago
@Giampietro131

Sloppy as hell.
desecrator1000 10 months ago
Vince failed to get HBK over with fans despite going out of his way to script all types of scenario's to make him big. NY didnt like him because he looked like a weak california garage band slacker rather then a supero hero like Hogan which WWF fans came to expect of a world champion. Sid came close here to resprenting that which is the reason they routed for him even though Michaels still was a face. I think they changed the ending on the fly once hearing the crowed reaction

Ndure13 1 year ago
@Ndure13 Definitely man. One correction on my last comment, I meant SD from 2002-2003. But I fully agree with you about wrestlers facing each other way too mauch. Kofi vs Dolph, and Kofi vs Swagger drives me NUTS, as does Orton and Cena. HHH/Rock/Austin faced each other throughout 98-01, but they were epic encounters everytime. But in nearly that same time span, Orton/Cena have nearly tripled the number of times they fought, including Cena squashing Orton twice in under 5 minutes sometime in 06.

Ndure13 1 year ago 2
@Ndure13 I just think every part from 96-01 were just fantastic, and 02-02 for Smackdown, from 96-01 you had the best mix of pure wrestling, storylines, drama, excitement, and passion that you just don't get know. Guys could have the crowd in the palm of their hands like that, titles actually meant something, and epic matches were actually epic. Cena vs Orton my ASS.
Swype87 1 year ago
@Swype87 Agreed 100%... titles have really lost their prestige... especially since that ridiculous "rematch clause" the night after every PPV... It doesnt feel like there's anything at stake anymore. And the same wrestlers wrestle eachother every god damn week on smackdown... Its unbelieveable how many times kofi and ziggler have wrestler eachother on the title on a weekly basis over the last 6 months.Same with cena and batsita/ orton.. the crowd didnt even care during he RR when they faced off.

when title changes meant something. cool to go back and watch this compared to title changes today. you had to be someone to become heavyweight champion back then. nowadays too many guys have held the world title at some point. it doesn't mean as much anymore, especially considering how often belts change hands. I mean, does anyone really believe Jack Swagger or The Miz were believable world champions?
reyparks 1 year ago 45
@reyparks EXACTLY! miz as WWF/E Champ???! i rest my case as i said on an old school vid... pathetic now is the WWF/E
acerz1563 1 year ago
@reyparks forget bout that......When you have 2 world champions, you have no world champion......
jtrebel32 1 year ago
@reyparks It´s all in the booking. Swagger and Miz were both booked very weakly, making their reigns seem cheap and unearned. Of course heels are supposed to cheat and be cowardly, but they need to win and look good sometimes as well, otherwise there is no challenge for the face to beat them.
artikel 11 months ago
@artikel Not all heels need to be cowardly. Look at Austin when he first came in and was a heel. Nothing about him was cowardly. Same with Sid, or Vader. Guys like that.
Antrizzle2009 11 months ago
@Antrizzle2009 Sure. But you kind of proved my point: Austin and Sid were turned face by the crowd because they were too cool to be heels. My original point was more at the extremes the wwe is going to now with its heels, which makes them look weak as hell.
artikel 11 months ago
@reyparks to me the WWE lost all credibility by putting the belt on Miz. I know a lot of people like him but I don't. Its killed the WWE for me. Nowadays they put belts on guys with the hopes it will get them over, back then u had to be over and established before u would be considered for a title.
theShowStopper321 10 months ago 2
@theShowStopper321
I very much agree!! Back in the 90s you had to earn your spot. Now it seems like they'll throw the belt on anybody just to see what happens

anthonypaul1983 9 months ago
@reyparks I was embarrassed when I saw Jack Swagger and The Miz as world champions. Those guys are not worthy of being world champions. Jack Swagger is like a gay version of Kurt Angle and The Miz is just the biggest faggit the WWE/F has ever seen and will always be so. He's not awesome, he "totally sucks". If you were good, you never had to say it because every wrestler knew it and the crowd knew it as well.
DaLegendof007 10 months ago
@DaLegendof007 Jack Swagger should never ever had been made Champion but I like the Miz actually has wrestling abilty and is gold on the mic. the only problem i have with the miz is when he fight Randy Orton or John Cena they make him look like he don't belong
jgreen6805 9 months ago

capucchan8 7 months ago 13
@capucchan8 yeah here i'lll give ya a rundown since u still watch the trash they spew at us now..... Miz won the Money in the bank match do you know what that is? in 2010 he won the 8 man ladder match for RAW money in the bank contract he then would wait a few months and cash it i on Randy Orton who was WWE champ. Miz held the title from November till may... yeah that Long.. he main evented wrestlemania vs Cena which of course was trash and it shows how WWE is lacking talent and creative sucks.
jerichorocker1234 7 months ago

jerichorocker1234 7 months ago
@jerichorocker1234 "he is good on Mic but cant wrestle"
Well it's not like we've never seen people like that before... *cough*Hogan*cough*Rock*cough*
All you need to do is be a showman, and entertain. The Miz has got that in spades.
The real problem is that everyone's talking about wanting a new Austin, or a new Rock, what they should be looking for is a new mat technician to rival Bret Hart or Kurt Angle that's not 5'2" like Daniel Bryan, or Tyson. After that get a new Heenan/Monsoon combo.
RicoLen1 6 months ago
@RicoLen1 bryan is a great wrstler but i agree with the rest that u had to say..
jerichorocker1234 6 months ago
@jerichorocker1234 So is Tyson Kidd, in fact I think Tyson is better. He wrestles just like the Hart brothers used to. My problem with Daniel Bryan and Tyson Kidd are that they're so dinky tiny they look like little action figures I could put in my pocket and carry around with me. They need someone with another 6 inches and a bit more girth (is it just me or is this conversation turning south?) before I can really take them seriously as a real contender.
RicoLen1 6 months ago
@RicoLen1 ok IMO tyson kidd and Danialson both are Great wrestlers... i would call then even they are to close for me to say who is Better Do i think they Need to be bigger? Yeah we know WWE loves Big men so,. it does hurt these Guys that their under 6 feet. BUT do i care? NO. both these guys DESERVE pushes Danial bryan is MINB winner so he is doing Fine while kidd is Jobbing.... Now here r some other good wrestlers.... Jack swagger, Drew Mcintyre, Cody Rhodes.... those guys got size as well :)
jerichorocker1234 6 months ago
@jerichorocker1234 Yeah, problem is Swagger doesn't have a great onscreen personality developed yet, hopefully this thing with Eddie's widow pans out for him. Mcintyre I've honestly not seen. I don't watch smackdown much and I've only been watching Raw again since Bret Hart came back Jan 2010, before that I hadn't watched in like 7 years. Rhodes has everything (except a gimmick I like, but I guess that's typical these days)
I've been getting rumors of a cruiserweight revival. Tyson may get over.
RicoLen1 6 months ago
@RicoLen1 yeah Creative Hasnt had anything to give swagger this past few Months thus why He was on Superstars for so long jobbingi like swagger but he needs something different with gimmick and Yeah Hopefully Vickie can help him.. im really starting to hate her she is annoying and i feel like she is feeding off eddie;s death... and Kidd will eventhually get Push. U have to watch mcintyre he is very good aggresive scot.... and Has been IC champ and was getting big push in 2009 .... now he Jobs..
jerichorocker1234 6 months ago
@jerichorocker1234 "and Has been IC champ and was getting big push in 2009 .... now he Jobs.."
Heh isn't that how it always goes with the IC Champ these days? Vickie's a good heel... actually I'm liking her more and more lately, at first she annoyed the piss out of me though.
Ohwell, at least the product is going uphill again. Reminds me a lot of this time period we're watching on this video... Raw was garbage in 96, but the PPV's were good at least, and you could tell things were looking up.
RicoLen1 6 months ago
@RicoLen1 yeah lot of IC guys anymore.. used to be the Belt that sent them to them to the top and Now it;s Like u win it and then either stay on Mid card forever " cough cough Kofi Kignston".. or U win it like Mcintyre and get jobbed...... or once in a while U get a Miz where he wins it and less then 6 months later he is WWE champ... so when was your favorite era of Pro wrestling WCW? WWF? plz tell. :) and yeah things are lookign up Cm punk is saving it and HHH :)
jerichorocker1234 6 months ago
@jerichorocker1234 Golden Ages WWF in the 80's WCW in the mid/late 90's I started watching wrestling with WM3, so I grew up a fan of Randy Savage, then later came the early zombie-like Undertaker, haven't liked his later incarnations so much, then Mr. Perfect, and after that Bill Goldberg, and finally when WCW took a dump it was all about The Rock and Kurt Angle, after that I stopped watching until Bret Hart made his first appearance in the WWE in 2010 and I haven't stopped watching since.
