  • Lol. Pretty good considering just 2 days. I bet if you had another day you wouldve done a lot better...now I gotta learn how to play Tarantella by W.H.Squire in a day. This shall fail miserably

  • im playing this 4 nyssma. any tips?

    =]]

  • I'm playing this song on French horn, and I can honestly say that this is a fun piece to play!

  • the technique is quite good, but the intonation gets off a bit in some places. as for the memory slips, this piece is soo easy do repeat certain sections! i did it all the time without even thinking, when i was playing it! good job!

  • general certificate of secondary education ;)

  • ive played this piece on the cello it is quite difficult in some parts but overall not 2 bad love it

  • Blimey, you lot are good. I'm a doddery 55 yr old and I'm finding this piece impossible.

  • i have to play this in a cello quartet an im not sure where my part fits in :P

  • great sounds!! :D

    though... your bowing

    technique seems a little

    wierd to me...

  • I play this on the violin! I love this piece & I am performing it in a couple of weeks at school!

  • I'm playing it on violin too! I'm playing it as part of my Music coursework :) good luck with yours!

  • I am going to play it for my music HSC

  • HSC= Higher School Certificate, our last major exams to get a mark to get into university or wherever we are going, we do it in year 12, i think your equivalent is year 6 high school? r u in your 3rd year of high school?

  • 4th year of secondary school :)

That's in the UK, i'm not sure where you live and if it's different, because i'm not doing anything about university yet...it's for my music GCSE course.

  • I am from Australia, so if u r in your 4th year of high school, u would b in yr 10 over here. I am in yr 11, so yr 5 over there in high school.

    what does GCSE stand for????

i will not b going to university, but we still have to do the certificate, i will b going to collage/tafe instead :)

  • Oh wow, my family lives in Australia :)

I live in England, UK, and i am in year 10.

GCSEs are just the exams you do over year 10 and 11.

  • im doin this on euphonium as well. i luv the piece!

  • So am I, along with B1k1 Rondo by Mozart and Variations on Fantasy. I still like it the best. Really fun to play...

  • thumb position was pretty good.

    overall, good:)

  • Very Good :D

  • wow why is this only 3 and half stars, i mean his intonation needs work and his vibrato, but his finger control is pretty good i would say atleast 4 stars cus this isnt an easy piece, the bow styling is very hard, so from a cellist to another cellist good job =)

  • just wondering. why do you pluck the last chord?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm performing the same arrangement on euphonium. It is such a beautiful piece when played with emotion. You did a great job!

  • I'm doing it on the Euph as well!

    What an odd coincednce =P

But I can't get it up to speed just yet, but i'll get there, eventually =]

  • niiice. I'm learning to play it :)

  • Great job, and it's great to see a young Khmer guy actively pursuing music! Suosdey.

  • A few tempo and intonation problems.

    good job on the trils.

  • that was amazing! i'm playing this piece on the violin and it was pretty good when it was played by you.

  • At some parts it hard but it is a masterpiece! (i like it better for basson)

  • I found this in my new book. Does my teacher want me to play that?! It seems very hard :/

  • It's actually not. I'm an 8th grade violin player and was able to sightread most of it. ;3 Just take it slow and watch for accidentals.

  • great!

im playing it as my solo.

looks alot harder on the cello though

    =D
