I remember finding out Paul died. I just cried my eyes out because Slipknot has been the one source of music I followed for 7 years through tough times. He will always be missed.

@sXs0n4R Actually guy, if they shut down the PA (which it sounds like they did) that's actually EXACTLY what the video would sound like; chances are, since it's a live recording of music, the mics for the recording go direct-in (i.e. the cameras themselves have no mics so as not to pick up surrounding noise, only what comes through the microphones onstage.) The onstage mics go to the PA. They clip the PA, the cameras receive absolutely 0 sound. I'm a fucking drummer and I figured this out.

Its is 2 minutes of silence for Paul gray but there are still background noises. Other people that were there also said that people far in the back were making noise a few seconds in etc. since they didnt hear what was said. It is not "fake" but it is muted, and if you take offence from the truth then you should just be quiet.

I remember finding out Paul died. I just cried my eyes out because Slipknot has been the one source of music I followed for 7 years through tough times. He will always be missed.

the audio does go mute, that is true, but u can look up videos from people in the crowd. it was allmost complett silent.

@sXs0n4R Actually guy, if they shut down the PA (which it sounds like they did) that's actually EXACTLY what the video would sound like; chances are, since it's a live recording of music, the mics for the recording go direct-in (i.e. the cameras themselves have no mics so as not to pick up surrounding noise, only what comes through the microphones onstage.) The onstage mics go to the PA. They clip the PA, the cameras receive absolutely 0 sound. I'm a fucking drummer and I figured this out.

@arc1183awc This video actually gets muted. No question about it. However there is another great video filmed by a fan in the crowd that is not muted. Its is 2 minutes of silence for Paul gray but there are still background noises. Other people that were there also said that people far in the back were making noise a few seconds in etc. since they didnt hear what was said. It is not "fake" but it is muted, and if you take offence from the truth then you should just be quiet.

@NoRestTillDeth This video is muted, you can hear it quite clearly even. There is a film from the crowd that a fan filmed, watch that instead if you want to hear how it really sounded. People were quiet and payed their respect, but there you can hear that there actually are background sounds, the entire world did not just stop. R.I.P Paul Gray

Whether or not you think that's a good decision is one thing, but not knowing that's what happened is crazy. And the sound was still edited out of the video, accept it. No wind sounds in the mic, no background sounds that you hear in the beginning of the video. You don't get that i'm not saying the crowd wasn't as silent as they could be. But outside mics being as silent as this is impossible.

I like the band and i bought the first cd back in 1999 when the shit came out like all the other fans from the beginning. You don't tell me about anything.
