How often do they change the cast?

they have an auditon every year but the cast doesnt really change. they mostly get new subs

In all fairness to the performers, 3 of the 4 Dapper Dans in this clip are subs and learned all of the choreography, harmonies and comedy the weeks prior to this date. The talent can only do so much with Disneyland trying to squeeze every penny by not supplying enough rehearsal time.

The bass up there was the original bass from 3 years ago who worked as a dan for nigh on 20 years until they canned him and only offered him a substitute position. The new entertainment head wanted a younger group, which does not really work too well especially for the era that its supposed to be in plus they are in experienced, and its a scripted act, whcih gives no freedom to the vocalists or musicians. Sheby grimm( former lead of 20 years) tried out yesterday and sadly did not make the cut...

i am sorry but the dapper dans are getting worse every year and it saddens me :(

If I lived in america I could be there to help them, there harmonies just dont work anymore, what happened to there powerful and ace harmonies :(

They need to talk to Max Q.... Mybe they can use their good harmonies and comedy in their songs...

In all fairness its none of their faults, as much as i hate the new guys and would love to blame everything on them, but the fact is that its upper managements fault. They braught in some new chich who screwed up the entire entertainment district of disney and replaced all musical acts with her scripted and to the watch groups. We lost the dans, the fire house sax quartet and the side street strutters.
