The trailer was scratch built...I got the leaf springs from a company that makes scale RC 18 wheeler trucks

Love it. I want to do the same thing. So whatd you build your trailer out of so i could do the same thing. I have a different boat but i have the same truck. Ive tried it befor but with a crappy plastic trailer tht floats

i got it from a local hobby store, the truck is a Traxxas stampede. im pretty sure u could get it from any hobby store

No, the stampede has a brushed motor. In the video, it was the stock 12 turn motor but that motor burned out, couldn't handle the load. Now I have a 23 turn Titan in it....more torque, handles the weight of the boat and trailer better
