No, they paid for the Iron Maiden show but Sonata was the main support band.

Lots of people (who didn't know how Iron Maiden looked like) thought that Sonata was Iron Maiden when they started playing. That's when he changed the vocals of Black Sheep (and kept it ever since)

Sorry but it would NOT have. Listen to word "nothing", just for example. Anyone who is not badly tone deaf can hear, that he sings it absolutely out of tune. That can not be because of the quality. He bends the note upwards a lot in a desperate attempt to reach the right note, but even still it falls a little short.

I could slightly consider my self as a Sonata Arctica fan, but this singing is just horrible. Maybe he was quite drunk? :D Or at least he didnt hear him self at all..
