@yarrew olive skin tone does not refer to the colour of olives the food, olive describes the skin tone of, for example, the spanish, mediteranean, brazilian, mexican, italian etc. and doesnt actually mean black though it can extend to that colouring

I love Edi, and Laurent helped Edward and Bella during Twilight, but during New Moon, he had what was coming to him. Trying to kill her. I don't know I love this series though! I haven't read the books and don't plan on it because I've already seen Twilight and New Moon in the theaters and if I read the books, then I'll know what happens and it'll run the entire thing.

They altered alot of the characters for the movie. I know that the Character James in the movie look nothing like james in the book. Stephenie helped them develop the looks for the characters in the movie.

Olive is either black or green. Anyone with fucking eyesight can verify this. Go to Google if you're too stupid to search. Now unless there are green people walking about, there is no way you can imply that olive should mean tan. It doesn't matter what you or anybody else says, olive does not mean tan. Tan means tan. And tan is a state of basically trying to pigment your skin with melanin (basically trying to become blacker). Edi is olive-skinned and suitable for the role.

I hate when Bella and Edward are compared to Romeo and Juliet. They ARE forbidden love, they're just a very different kind. Humans are not hatin the vampires and the vampires don't have a grudge against ALL humans. Montague vs. Capulet? not in twilight (unless you ship Jake/Edward or something of those species.) Romeo never wanted to eat Juliet.

He DIDN'T come in NM to kill Bella he came to see if she would be hard to get too, and he was hunting Denali/Cullen style. She just had awful timing.

The 'wanting to eat bella' thing is not just a predator/prey thing its symbolism for him wanting to consume her wanting every part of her to himself no matter how wrong it is that he wants. Its very romeo and juliet because romeo KNEW he couldnt have juliet, he knew their worlds were seperated by misunderstandings and dangers but he like edward was unable to stay away from his love and it cost Juliet her life...just like edward is trying to prevent bella from losing her life because he wants her

i disagree with his character description. laurent doesn't seem to "care" or have a "heart." i mean in new moon, he willingly chose to attack bella and kill her. in twilight, he didn't go along with james and victoria because the cullens were such a huge coven, he felt intimidated. not a compassionate character at all lol

Yeah, I understand what you're saying. I feel the same way when I see other movies too, dealing with different subjects...kinda left out.

I'm not really a fan of the series of books. Nothing against the books, but I never really got into the craze of wanting to read them. But, yeah, I guess Laurent is the 4th black vampire we have. There's Eddie Murphy in Vampire in Brooklyn, of course Blade, and Aaliyah in Queen of the Damned. And his dreads are great!
