  • im playing cogsworth starting tomorrow in my school production...i also share the same name as the host of this video haha

  • A friend of my family played the Beast when this toured. I was too young to remember it, but my brother got to go back stage and watch him transform fromt he Beast to the Prince.

  • "Schwarzenegger, eat your heart out!" LOL

  • that beast costume looks really hot.....

  • i absolutely love this musical :) belle is my dream role

  • Is there a ghostbusters 3 because I can't find it

  • muy bien todo esta hermoso

  • 6:39 There is no Ghostbusters 3 and there probably never will be xD

  • where's chip?

  • Is Robbie Benson (the narrator here and voice of cartoon Beast) related to Jodie Benson (voice of Ariel)? that would be SO COOL!!! :D

  • @Dbakyda They're actually married. I don't know if they're still together, but yeah, they're marriedd

  • @novus0verum Jodie Benson and Robbie Benson were never married nor are they related

  • The best broadway show ever!

  • There was a Ghostbusters 3?

  • I love this guy's voice. He should do audiobooks or something.

  • This looks so cool. Wish I could've seen it on broadway when it was still around.

  • Terrence Mann is the beast singer in the world!!!!!

  • The cast and crew of this play say that it was hard to keep up and stay on schedule. Well, when you think about how long it took Disney to FINALLY make it's own version of "Beauty and the Beast", I think the cast and crew were all moving pretty fast.

Walt Disney wanted to make his own version of "Beauty and the Beast" back in 1937 right after making "Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs", but he could never figure it out. It took the talents of Howard Ashman and Alan Mankin to accomplish such a task.

  • well, in the movie interviews, the actors did say that all the actors and actresses that were auditioning were all from the theatre, not from film. they even said that the producers wanted the movie to have a broadway show feeling.

  • Robby Benson was the Beast in the Disney movie edition and I find it so cool that he's narratoring the behind the Scenes look at he the musical version!!!!

  • It was my first Broadway Show!

  • R.I.P. Tom Bosley! He was a great actor.

  • Terrance Mann is in The Addams Family now!

  • @EntertainmentAddams Sure is. Mal Beineke. His run is nearly over, though. Get there fast, anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

  • @EntertainmentAddams Serious? What character?

  • @surferdude3451 He used to play Mal Beineke but now he left. The show is closing on Decmember 31.

  • Ahhhh! Beauty and the Beast...I'm so depressed that I never got to see this on broadway before it closed =*( yeah the tour is coming to SoCal but visually I have heard and see that it is a let down....Please broadway give us a revival!!!!!

  • @phantom4evr101 Actually it's been brought back to Broadway and is on tour. I recently saw it and liked it! They say it's been downgraded a little mainly in sets and costumes, they aren't as detailed. The original sets and costumes were disposed of when the show closed in 2007. To remake all that detailed stuff would be expensive and in this economy expensive is not a good word. I'm just happy it's back! I enjoyed it!

P.S. If money gets better maybe they'll be able to add more to it.

  • This was when they showed decent programming on the Disney Channel.....

  • is there any way you could send me a low-res avi file of this?? It's blowing my mind. Basically, BATB is the reason why I do theater today. Just wondering! Thanks Liz (liz.wal@gmail.com)

  • OMG I love Robby Benson's voice...
