The title of this video is incorrect. I purchased the same USB hub but got a yeti pro mic. The pro uses 500mA power and standard USB hubs max out here. The mic worked on my iMac but could hardly pic anything up on my iPad 2 when using the USB hub seen in this video. It's stated in the pro instruction book that it wil not work with USB hubs. This video is even linked on the manufacturers website as "how to setup a yeti pro to iPad 2"

I have purchased all of the equiptment used in the video above.. Ipad 2 with iOs 4, camera connection kit, belkin usb hub, and blue yeti, and yet my iPad does not register that the yeti is connected to it. The belkin's green light attempts to light up as I plug in the yeti but then ultimately fails. Have any suggestions?

Hi, i bought the ipad cam conn kit and plugged the blue snowball usb into it. then straight into my iphone 4. and uh, it apparently tells me that it doesnt support my iphone 4 accessory. any ideas?

Great info. Where does the audio file store after you record it. I am trying to do sound tracks for iMovie and want to make sure the audio recording software will place a file in iTunes so I can import it into iMovies. Have you tried this and if so what app would you recommend for iPad2?

@algebraparish I use a Canon 60D DSLR Camera and the iPad would be great for basic recording but if you're serious about music recording I'd recommend minimum the 13" MacBook Pro or 21.5" iMac over the MacBook Air :)

I updated my iPad 1, installed GarageBand and it closed each time I tried to open it. I deleted it, re-installed it and still, crashes upon start up. I finally got GarageBand to stay open but then it crashed. I noticed that if you plug in your headphones to the mic BEFORE start-up, they work, if you plug them in after, they wont. Hopefully I can figure out the kinks soon and get this working right, but I dont think I'd trust GB for any voice over work...doesnt seem stable yet.
