@truebeliever786 MMA isn't a fighting style, every league has different rules. Boxing is an aspect of full body combat so by definition encompasses the entire arsenal of boxing. Usually it's the people with zero wrestling or jujitsu experience are the ones who can't find the entertainment in MMA because they lack the fundamental knowledge of grappling or competition in general. Flashy head kicks, flying knees, beautiful submissions, sweeps, throws, transitions... I love em all!

MMA is great for a fighting style, because you do learn many escape techniques from common street attacks and things like that...

MMA is more of a feeling out process because it's easier to make a mistake in 8 limb combat with takedowns / submissions. In boxing there is less to worry about so they train to let their hands fly a bit more freely. Both sports can be very exciting & dull. MMA isn't really a fighting style, it's a full body combative contest. Most escape's you learn threw wrestling/BJJ.

I use to love boxing untill MMA came out. Boxing is for old people who don't like change. Hopkins been knocked to many times in the head and keeps repeating himself. Usually it's the people with zero wrestling or jujitsu experience are the ones who can't find the entertainment in MMA because they lack the fundamental knowledge of grappling or competition in general. I don't really like grappling/submission stuff, I know some ground fighting, not much though... I'm more into boxing but I do Kung Fu as a self-defense.
MMA is great for a fighting style, because you do learn many escape techniques from common street attacks and things like that...

MMA is more of a feeling out process because it's easier to make a mistake in 8 limb combat with takedowns / submissions. In boxing there is less to worry about so they train to let their hands fly a bit more freely. Both sports can be very exciting & dull. MMA isn't really a fighting style, it's a full body combative contest. Most escape's you learn threw wrestling/BJJ.

I use to love boxing untill MMA came out. Boxing is for old people who don't like change. Hopkins been knocked to many times in the head and keeps repeating himself.
