i chose to plant our dwarf apple trees & paw paws in raised beds - i was concerned about drainage - i still have persimmon trees to plant (i know its late in the season, i think, for us in nyc) now i'm concerned about the cold weather with the trees in raised beds. this is the first time i am growing fruit other than raspberries. i grow organic veggies & have hens for eggs/manure. do you think the raised beds in winter will be a problem?
A sapling is a larger seedling. If you've got the time and the seed and the knowledge, you can certainly grow your woody plants from seed. This does make the outcome dependant on seedling variation.
At 8:07 I WAS beginning to despair, but then I checked out your website and was successful in planting my own foliage about my garden. By the way. How do you get a sapling naturally?
Thank you!!!!
