This sequence suggests the fall from grace. Jeff Bridges' character is God, who created the universe, and the character with his youthful resemblance is Lucifer, who forever alters the "playbook". Bridges watches, but does not intervene, insinuating free will. In the film, his son comes to restore the integration of sin by injecting God's grace via sacrifice to the "fallen creation." A rather impressive revisting of the original film. Plus, Daft Punk pulls off a kick-ass score.

its cool remembering watching this teaser when it came out and i was like man the effect are awesome, and then the final trailer comes out and you notice the effects are even better, and you notice they went with some different looks, and you're like dang i would settle with the teaser quality, yet i got this even more epic version.... thus in saying all of this, tron legacy is one of my favorite movies of all time.

@melissaPenguinloverr its sort of related to the movie because the program in the yellow is C.L.U. and this gives us a hint in the movie that C.L.U turns evil

The movie wasn't bad, but does anyone else like this teaser trailer more than the actual movie? I really missed the sounds of the bikes accelerating, the bouncing sounds the tires made, and that ominous slow-motion shot of Clu's identity disc lighting up with that sound it made... Who left those sounds out of the movie, anyway? :|

I think I might have seen a very little bit of it flipping through channels at some point, since I also recognized the style & similarities right away... guess ill have 2 rent it somewhere lol

@colintrent Go look up a Chakram. It's an ancient/classical/medieval indian weapon that was the inspiration for this. Deadliest Warrior examined it and it could get 3 inches of penetration in a man from medium range and was instantly lethal. Far more lethal in fact than a sword in the right warriors hands.
