I agree. I actually like all the versions of this song (Marvin Gaye, Gladys Knight & the Pips, and this one by CCR). The versions done by Marvin Gaye and Gladys Knight & the Pips were very soulful and mellow. But Creedence took this song and made it into a powerhouse rock version, and it clocks in at barely over 11 minutes. Excellent!!!
