I have 54 Gamecube, 34 DS, 15 GBA, 9 GB, 30 N64, 18 Super, and 3 NES. My focus is to get all N64 games and systems because the library is only about 350 games, SNES has 750, and NES has 900 or so counting the unlisenced.
Holy freaking cow!!!! How much Nintendo stuff do you own? I wish I had that big of a Nintendo collection.Thumps up for you dedication to Nintnedo. Do you own any import software?
It's funny you should ask about import software. I JUST started collecting for the Japanese Famicom and Disk System. My collection has nearly doubled (in hardware, not software) since this video but I'm going to wait to make a new one until I have everything I want. One can only take so many comments about not including this or that particular item. Thanks for the comment!
I was going to say how can you call this World of Nintendo w/o the Virtual Boy. Then of course I read your description and felt much better. Only a true Nintendo fan owns a virtual boy or 3.
Those were actually Nintendo Fun Club News magazines. Fun Club members got them quarterly for joining the club. They were the predecessor to Nintendo Power Magazine.
Tell me where you work and send me a job application. I need that kind of cash XD Awesome collection man. Half the fun in being a collector, is searching and collecting I think. Too bad I have financial limitations on my collecting :(
i have all that accept the snes and some of the accessories but very impressive u even have all the boxes and everything u could make a fortune from that like 2 grand!
eBay is a great place to find boxed, complete, and sealed Nintendo items. Just set up a saved search like "nes gyromite complete box" or "snes metroid sealed" and they'll email you whenever a listing matching that criteria appears. Thanks for the comment!
That song is so awesome. I miss Donkey Kong, he hasn't had his own real game in a while. By real game I mean like the Country series or DK64, Barrel Blast, and the music games don't count. Smash Mouth and DK just don't mix.. That's real dedication there, I have to ask though, u own any other systems not from Nintendo?
Currently I own at least one version of every Nintendo system. In the past I have also owned a Sega Genesis, Play Station, and Sega Dreamcast but have since sold them. I'm more of a collector than a gamer and am enjoying working on my Nintendo collection. Thanks for the comment!
I just started working half ayear ago and im also making a collection now, first the Hardware, and later the games, i already bought my Virtual Boy and all the games so its a good start :)
Dude, you ROCK! Your collection makes even MINE feel ashamed. I can't believe how many Wii and Gamecube games you have! I only have 13 Wii games and 52 Gamecube. And I love how you have the Boxes to everything! Half of my NES collection is just the cartridges. The complete games are alway's too high on ebay. And I want your ROB THE ROBOT! LOL! Every time that shows up on ebay it's OUTRAGEOUS!
Its good to know someone whos been a OG NES gamer from the 80's :) I remember vividly remember 1988 when Super Mario 2 hit the shelves. My NES was putting in overtime! Hah, you still have your first issue of Fun Club News ! I have mine tucked away in some anti acid sheets.
I purchased the majority of my collection on eBay but never kept track of what I paid for each item (probably a good thing). For some items I paid less than the original MSRP and for others, more...a lot more. Regardless, I calculated that the collection has an estimated MSRP value of around $17,000. That's the value if you could go to a store right now and buy each item brand new. Thanks for the comment!
Hey, thanks for the comment. I am very sorry to hear that you were a victim of Hurricane Katrina. I often think about my collection and natural disasters. Hopefully nothing like that will happen where I live. I am glad, however, to hear that you are okay and that you've started collecting again. Keep it up!
The one thing I don't keep track of regarding my collection is how much I paid for everything. I prefer not to think about it! Thanks for the comment.
No, you didn't miss it in the video. Check out the "About This Video" blurb I wrote. The Virtual Boy will appear in my next video. Thanks for watching!
You make very good points. I am a Nintendo collector and the items in my collection are rarely played. I collect them just to have them. I know it's a tough concept for some people to understand but think of it this way: coin collectors don't spend their coins and stamp collectors don't use their stamps to mail letters. They collect them to complete a series which is what I'm going for with Nintendo products. Thanks again for your comments.
ok I see, I on the other hand only buy to play so for example on the virtual boy I have 8 games that I think is in the price range to play them, but would never buy the more expensive VB games since they are way to expensive for the quality
Those signs were originally used to advertise in retail stores during the NES era in the late 80s and early 90s. I bought this one on eBay back in 2006. Thanks for watching!

Do you have enough to be put on guinness of world records for biggest nintendo collection?
captsplatter 4 years ago
I own:
-virtual boy (USA version): 1 consol, 1 control, 1 stand, 8 games [All is mine]
-N64: 1 console, 3 controls (white, red and green), 1 rumble pack, about 40 games [All is mine exept for green control and about 10 games]
-Gameboy (black), over 20 games [like 2-3 games are mine]
-Playststion 2 (small version): 1 console, 3 controles, about 15 games [All is mine exept about 5-8 games]
akumie 4 years ago
My brother owns:
-game cube with about 20 games [1 game is mine]
-super nintendo with about 5-10 games [1 game is mine]
-game boy color (yellow) with like 5 games
As a family we have a sega mega drive and a nintendo, but we lost most games and some cabels so we have not been able to play on them for years

oh, I probably should have read "about this video" before :-P, anyways why collect nintendo stuff, to sell them for more later on?
I admit old nintendo consoles are fun to have like the N64, but a nes...come on
If you have a nintendo ds lite then why would you want to have any other hand hel nintendo system exept the virtual boy?

You make very good points. I am a Nintendo collector and the items in my collection are rarely played. I collect them just to have them. ok I see, I on the other hand only buy to play so for example on the virtual boy I have 8 games that I think is in the price range to play them, but would never buy the more expensive VB games since they are way to expensive for the quality
