By the way RJDJ a music python app uses this a similar approach to run its music app on iphone.
By the way the diffirence between Cydia Python show in this video and pyjamas is that my suggestion does not require a jailbroken iphone/ipod touch. And most importantly because it turn python code into javascript it can run into any device with a web browser supporting the latest versions of javascript.
Probably the best way to run a python app on iOS is pyjamas. Pyjamas is a python toolkit that converts python code to javascript, without requiring the knowledge of javascript. It takes full advantage of HTML5 and the latest javascript edition that iOS fully suports. It even possible to make an icon of you pyjama app for alunching it and apple allows full access to its iphone libraries for webapps.
Its stupid we can not run python directly but we can run it inderectly through javascript.
