i am 2 years and 3 months natural and I have to blow out and/or straighten my hair. I plan on the big blowout in Dec. of 2012. I am sure I will act a donkey and so will my mother because she really wants me to get a blowout. I am a 4a with shrinkage. alot of people want to see how long my hair is but I have been resisting. lol Your hair is wonderful. I love your excitement!

It feels pretty good. It's not heavy and you would only use a little maybe a dime size three times (front back sides). It makes the blow dry easier to me. I put the rest in the fridge. Oh, I also put a drop of argan oil on the ends whrn blow drying and that makes a big difference. Let me know if you want the measurements. Stay Blessed!

I love your blowdrying technique. I usually get bushy ends so next time I blowdry I'll try that method. Are you going to try any textured styles on your blowout? I would love to see some. I always get in a style rut when my hair is straight and wash it out before it needs to be.

@FhrizzBall This was my first time blowing it out, and I'm not sure that I'll be doing it too often. I'm already a little tired of it. It's nice feeling it on my neck and shoulders, but it's also getting in the way and getting caught between my shoulder and purse all the time....LOL!

Looking good Diana (lol). I use a small mixture of cond mixed with aloe vera juice and castor oil as my leave in before I blow dry and it makes my hair easier to blow out. The hair jewelry is nice. Glad you had a nice time. Hey camera man. Y'all come back soon...

It's really hard, but you have to pray for those who treat you bad. You don't have to deal with them if you don't want to, and you don't have to LET them treat you badly. No matter what, there is always a way to say and do what you need to do while keeping your integrity and self worth intact.
