The green movement is about conservation and protection of public resources and property. Air quality, water quality, free market, reliable money system, roads, and public health.

One of the biggest voices in the movement, and to no small consequence, the legal and policy-making side of it, is Cass Sunstein, an extremist with lots and lots of power. He's pushed for the "right" of animals to sue Humans in a court of law. So if that isn't an extremist view in your mind, the so be it.

If anyone thinks it can`t happen, then they need to check history - one of the first countries to practice eugenics was United States - starting with Connecticut in 1896 and then in Indiana in 1907 where they actually had compulsory sterilization laws until 1920 (Joseph Goebbels - Hitler`s propaganda minister - praised US eugenics movement).

@jimbrown257 Yes Jim, I am. Absolutely. I feel that it's our obligation to. Is it not a parents duty to make the world better for his kids? When my father was my age- ] The air was cleaner. There were cleaner rivers and lakes that were safer to swim in. There were still forrests to play in, before developers cleared every last square inch of it away to build condos. Theyre were a greater species of bird life that are no longer native to his state. Its real Jim, not crazy liberal hype.

@Freshbrood What really scares me about some of these people who feel that we don't need to worry about the environment is, it's not that they deny global warming or have been tricked by Exxon sponsored skewings of science, they know we are trashing the environment but they just don't care because they believe 100% that the Earth isn't going to be around much longer because they think the Rapture is about to happen any time now. It is scarey how many people think that.

Despite my lunacy, my eyes batted one out of the park with regard to some people who "got assassinated." Furhtermore, I don't believe 13 dead soldiers "had it coming." Littering generaliaztions are not an intellectual achievement. Not all conspiracies are imagined. Beck raises some strong patterns of less-than-honorable practices of government and those who would lead it. It seems our minds must be open to the new socialists, some of them avowed, but closed to any alternative view.

It's astounding that the left constantly goes around predicting the right wing people to go nuts and do something crazy. This hasn't happened and won't happen. Obama will be democratically removed from power legally following the 2012 election. This is an interesting scare tactic from the left, but it is entirely without merit. Look at the right wing 9/12 protests, 0 arrests. The left wing G20 protests? Hundreds of arrests.

Um, what? Firstly it's apples to oranges because the "Tea Partiers" were a single issue group, the G 20 protesters were not. Secondly a VERY small portion of them were anything but absolutely peaceful, however the guy holding the sign is not as interesting as the guy being dragged away.

And for the record true opinions have a very limited spectrum of what they can be. An opinion is almost always some variation of "I like/don't like" when you apply titles or actions to it, such as "bums, homeless, etc" They become statements of fact that are either correct or incorrect.
