  • problem is in the uk, we never see summers and only see grey skies all through the spring and summer nowadays (due to geo-engineering) so i dnt have much of a way of eating enough.

  • ive shared this link on facebook and also read a book by patrick holford "10 secrets of 100% healthy people" and its also insightful

  • SUBBED! :D

    COOL!

  • @Lightw0rker777 Thank you!

  • Just got my scan today. 74,000!!! wow. Just one year ago I was living the SAD life. I have been all plant based whole for the last 10 months and mostly raw for the last 6 months. Thanks for letting me scaner Lori!!!! Really made my day

  • @msucharski2 WOW! Holy moly!!! See... you are the perfect example of what I am talking about! It is SOOOO possible to turn the course of our lives around! I am sooo proud of you... now I gotta watch out... you are on my tail! ;)

  • Thank you for some good advice .. Keep promoting the healing and healthy ideas!

  • @kagiso9638 Thank you! I will do!

  • wow, very strong loving personallity, greetings :)

  • @LlGHTBElNG Thank you!

  • I love you! You are wonderful, empowered, beautiful, & so wise! Thank you:) you rock! & I love the way you speak

  • @veggiesyummy Thank you! :)

  • I wish more people ate better foods and cared more about where there food comes from.

  • 53 years old .. tendonitus in the knees . .. vegetarian since 23 years old .. started taking fish oil tablets 10 days ago .. tendonitus is disappearing maybe 1 or 2 % a day .. question .. how to find a substitute for this that is vegetarian .. thanks

  • @kagiso9638 Eat what the fish eat and bypass the fish: algae has loads of EFAs. E3Live, Spirulina, etc... Congrats on your healing that is awesome!!! Also, do massage to the area. The blood flow with drive nutrient to the area and clean away waste tissues so you heal faster!

  • I wonder how old are you.. You said you've been eating like this for 10 years, but you look like 20 years old :)

  • @righer12 LOL! I am 35! I have two teenage kids!

  • Inspiring, I try to eat as much local organic produce as possible, not much on the raw side, but lots of greens, I can definitely do more and want to do more. Very inspiring video! Question, how do you rate organic spirulina in tablet form. I have been taking that too.

  • @Suzis99 Great to hear you are getting in your greens! I personally don't use spirulina very often. It's something I start and stop with. I really focus on live plants first. Spirulina is not a replacement, but I consider it one of the best supplements along with kelp, e3live, and vitamineral green.

  • Geesh, you are beautiful!!

  • @fetymann Thank you! :)

  • Lori what would you do if you lived in a place where organic fruits and vegetables didn't exist. Is it still healthier to eat sprayed fruits and vegetables than eating a mostly vegetarian diet with few white meats now and then? By the way, you are gorgeous!

  • @anitius101 I know cold areas have tons of greens and cruciferous foods: broccoli, kale, brussells sprouts, collards, cabbages, cauliflower, etc... I'd get as much of that in my diet lightly steamed daily. Try simple banana and greens smoothies and lightly steam the cruciferous veggies. It's simple and you'll do well.

BTW, health is a priority to me, so I live in places that I have access to fresh produce. In the long run finding fresh food sources is a must if you can't grow your own!

  • @Inspire2Act BTW, I am not suggesting you steam the greens and then blend them in the smoothie... LOL. In the smoothie the dark leafy greens are raw. On their own eat them with lemon and lightly steamed. :)

  • I guess what I'm wondering is what do you personally consider "high raw"...because I think everyone has a slightly different idea about what "high raw" is.

  • @LeijaTurunen Somedays I am 100% raw. The lowest I go in raw is about 75% on a day. If it's cooked it is still plants usually steamed greens or baked yams. Really simple. If I average it out I am about 85%+ raw. I consider high raw anything over 80% raw. In the summer I am about 95% raw on average.

  • @Inspire2Act Sweet!!! Thanks chicka :D You sound just like me! I tell people that somedays I'm 100% raw, but average out at about 85%. I absolutely love yams, so that's one of my fav cooked healthy foods I have on occasion. And when I'm in Hawaii (where I'll be moving to soon) I eat mostly raw...it's just so easy to over there! =)

  • percentages and I'm not fanatical myself, but if you had to give a percentage, what would you say? Sorry if this is an annoying question....lol. I'm just curious :)

    xoxo

  • @LeijaTurunen Not annoying at all! Love you to pieces!!! :)

  • And I'm really sorry about all the questions but how much do you eat in a day? Did you use the calorie suggestion from the 80-10-10 diet?

  • @GoVegNoww I love that book and I feel it is an awesome foundation. I have some variations that I do personally, but overall if you read 80/10/10 and green for life ... that is at least 80% if not more of my diet.

  • And do you eat organic produce?

  • @GoVegNoww Only organic...no conventional...some local.

  • lori as a suggestion lori won't it be nice if the camera was little back like in your previous i noticed the camera used to some distance back...your new videos are more up close to the camera its not there is anything wrong but its just...hm well its not FAir as i want to see you somewhat complete i hope u are offended its not even a request just something i wanted to point out.

  • @Fuhrerliveson Don't you worry... some videos in the future will be showing more. When I am up close it's because I want you to LISTEN to what I am saying. I don't want to be a distraction.

  • @Inspire2Act yipee can't wait thanks for the update lol

  • Do you eat spinach cooked or raw?

  • @GoVegNoww both....mostly raw though. Every now and then I will steam some and add it to my salad to warm it up.

  • WOW! LORI! I didn't know you were raw!!! That's AWESOME :D I'm so happy to hear that cause I'm very passionate about it as well! This is exciting! Isn't it fun to notice how healthy people are always so beautiful? Examples: Angela Monarch, Angela Liddon, you, Freelea

  • LORI=beautiful:L

  • @Fuhrerliveson :) Thank you.

  • Thank you for the list. I just printed it and added it to my weightloss journal. I'm on a 30 Vegan Challenge and I'm on my 6th day. So far so good, I sometimes miss the junky crappy foods, but as soon as I fill up on fruits and veg I totally forget about it. I feel so much better, I have tons of energy and I also don't get sleepy during the day like I used too. It's crazy. I wish more people would be open to this.. I lost 5 pounds so far, that's a lot for only being on it for 6 days.

  • @whisperingdragon33 Awesome! So glad you liked the list! and hey... even I still miss the junk foods... I don't pretend that I no longer like those foods, I am just wise enough to know what they do to me when I eat them... I love me, but they don't love me back! :)

Congrats on your journey and weight loss! So happy for you!!!

  • i love you..so beautiful~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  • @pkkid123456789 : ) Thank you!

  • I agree with the principles but I lack the creativity to make meals that are high with plant based foods. I kind of imagine myself sitting around just nibbling on lettuce and carrots.

  • @inspiredmom824 Yeah... I get that! I just gradually added more fruit and veggies as snacks and side dishes until they took over. BTW, simple is the way to go.. it is a shock when we eat such complicated foods, but the simpler I have gone...the healthier i have become.

  • @Inspire2Act I definitely agree we make it more complicated. Though, if we just simply eat them raw...do you ever get bored? I tend to have carrots and cucumbers and broccoli around, but just cutting them up and eating them is pretty bland.

  • @inspiredmom824 Yeah.. I tend to eat my produce in the form of a green smoothies, BIG salads with my awesome raw caesar salad dressing, veggie soups, steamed greens like broccoli, or a baked yam here and there. I don't eat alot of carrot sticks unless I have made up some zucchini hummus.

  • These messages brought to you today by... a good attitude

  • @RainbowLogic :)

  • Where can we get a scan like this? I work in a medical office and have never heard of it. Thanks, Jenni

  • @justaphotogirl I posted a link on my website under this video!

  • Wow...here is more proof of how healthy raw eating is...you said your two teenagers?? I was thinking you were in your mid 20s (I'm 29)! You look so radiant and beautiful! Ty for your inspiration! I look forward to going back to a mostly if not all raw lifestyle. Definitely desiring optimal health! God bless u! xoxo

  • @Gigzy21 Thank you!

  • Love it Lori. Just about to have a raspberry fruit smoothie :)

  • @PP11GO Awesome!

  • Amazing video, thank you Lori:)

  • @rufflesnswirls You are welcome!

  • Hi are you still low fat fruit based ?

  • @dianeovenden It varies on the season. In summer more fruit less fat, in winter a little more fat.

  • love your enthusiasm and vids! :]

  • @foggyblues13 Thank you!
