My family and I were in one of "crowded" food places down on Main Street that evening. The street was sooooo crowded so we just decided to leave the park and beat out the traffic(since we've seen WDW fireworks before). However as we were leaving the park and entering the tram we noticed that the firework display was over very quickly. Had no idea it was canceled. So I guess it was worth the early leaving and pure luck that got us to our hotel even earlier!
The "High Winds" is just an excuse. Look at 6:12 , the smoke isn't moving...AT ALL! But look at the castle at around 9:45 , you will see a firework shot very low and less than 30 seconds later the show was cancelled! Good Video though, 5 stars.
@MickTheRat85 i used to think that way to until i found out that the fallout riskis are pretty high in whindy weather. there is a rsk tha a firework shell could end up on the 5 freeway or worse If the flags on the train station are blowing at the time of the show that usually means no show
If able to complete this show I am very safe to assume that it would be much better than the Magic Kingdom's version at Walt Disney World. Yet again Disneyland proves that it can do anything WDW can do much better. Thanks for sharing. So sorry it had to be scrubbed in the middle...but still a great show
Working there, you have to understand they cancel them for winds because if they continue to show them it could cause fires if fallout lands in trees. It's very well organized, but as winds get stronger they have to cancel them...sorry

This sucks! Watch the same show from Walt Disney World at the Magic Kingdom, it's the entire show.
