being a ex afl player for 8 years i think that it would be good for tongan kids to play a few years of afl to get their ball skills and their fitness up then come back to rugby and they would make these other players look pretty bad!!
Rugby is the life blood of the people of Tonga. AFL is only followed in half of one country. The only way AFL can get any attention in the other half of Australia is by paying a Rugby League player who has never at all played AFL $1 million bucks. What a joke.
Nice delusion of grandeur you've got there lol, AFL is the MOAST popular sport in Australia while rugby is only popular in QLD and NSW and it's popularity is shrinking too, I remember when the rugby league had a team in Adelaide about 15 years ago lol it doesn't now! while the AFL is actually growing moar and moar popular with 2 new teams now.
