well there is a lot of Emo Deathcore- aka Bring me the horizon and like who seems to have just had one listen to dying fetus, and just raped it. DeathCore- bands like Suicide Silence I think have more of an influence, rather than a ripoff and abuse of Death Metal.. The bands that are like Suicide Silence, and are Heavy, I love, love that band, love this band, though i wouldn't call it Death core, sounds like modern Death Metal to me..

Metal is far, far more than repetitive squealing, tuning your guitar to drop X (or whatever, I don't play) and simple chuggy riffs (often slowed down to appear more "brutal). Now, I'm not saying death metal isn't metal, because it is. I'm not the biggest fan, but I appreciate it. Like whatever you want, but don't make refer to deathcore as metal.
