  • I had to land my RC Sbach 342 upside down today because the Elevator jammed in a pitch down position, I had to work the throttle to do an inverted landing no serious damage. At least when an RC plane malfunctions it isn't a real danger, in real life I'd shit a brick.

  • why is he upside dowNZ!

  • 'I had only one second to decide where to land'

so you land upside down... Excellent choice.

  • Oh i just crashed my plane :DDDD We will repair it, and thats it.... HE TALKS LIKE HE CAME OUT OF THE WATER DRY....... Its their routine :DDD

  • DId you hear a word he said??

  • lol i thougt it was a rc plane laying on a carpet when i clicked the video.

  • Why did he land upside down???

  • @Killjoyxtrm The wheels dragged on the dirt and flipped it over.

  • @allamericandude15 @tulaconalas They should have explained that in the video then :/

  • @Killjoyxtrm he didnt, the airplane turned upside down at the moment of touch down...

  • Yes, the plane was damished

  • Klaxon in his extra?

  • EXTRA 300S BITCHES!

  • @Elthehablo MXS-R??

  • i know how horribly it will go bec in fsx in these plain wan landing whit no prob it crash

  • any landing you can walk away from is a good one

  • Might have not been so bad had he landed right side up!!! Damn stunt pilots...

  • i guess he runned out of red bull...

  • Reb Bull gives you wings.

  • Pilots:

Looking down to people since 1903

  • He is one of the best aerobatic pilots.....how say that he is not able.....does don't know anything about aircrafts.

  • what did he lose??

  • @JD4D oil pressure

  • @barkulator thank you

  • Coward unskilled pilots fail at life

  • @699backstab ha ha you don't know what are you talking about, "backstab"

  • @699backstab do you know how to fly an airplane? and your calling him unskilled? interesting XD

  • @ 0:37 I thought my phone's alarm was going off :s

  • This is what happens when you run out of red bull.

    You lose your wings.

  • @NickyAmerica hahaha epic comment

  • YOU GOT AN ANGEL LOOKING AFTER YOU MY FRIEND =)

  • Think of what it costs to send that plane to the factory. If you ship a small box around the world its ridiculous. So now he will spend 50k to move a written off exorbitant toy to a place where they will pretend to care about it, then junk it, he will spend another 350k for a new one. Hey rich faggots how about a cure for cancer or maybe the eradication of all religion. lets set the bar a little bit higher please

  • @699backstab no, you fucktard, for one thing he has sponsors that pay for all of that shit, these guys dont really make much more than a nascar racecar driver does. Second they will only repair it, not replace it and when all is said and done your probably only looking at 10 to 15k tops to repair it.. Im all for cures for diseases and even religion to a certain point, but do you really think none of these people are philanthropists? most rich people in one way or another DO donate to charity

  • @699backstab okay start off with football players then move your way down to sport pilots. lol these guys dont make a lot

  • @699backstab You sir are a retard. You can't eradicate religion. If all the governments of the world said religion was banned, the people would revolt...why? Because they believe in religion. You can't just take that away. And also, a cure for cancer is impossible. Go do some research please.

  • is ok i recycle that plane, give it to me *lol*

  • I Fly Sailplane,,,,All are forced landings. And" NO im NOT goin around" Tower! But thanks for askin

  • Since planes always seem to crash just short of the runway, why don't they just move all of the runways?

  • @handiest1 They DID... Displaced Threshold???? And it still didnt work.

  • @handiest1 lol get apushin

  • @handiest1 you know if they move the runways they would still just crash front of it :)

  • @handiest1 LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • @handiest1 Then the airplanes coming in the other way would crash twice as far from the runway :P

  • How did he get OUT ????

  • @4881828 smash the window and be flexible

  • any landing you walk away from is a good landing.

  • @globemaster68

...and any take-off you can walk away from, is a bad take-off.

  • Peter is the BEST all-round show pilot now flying the Int'l circuit. Very decent forced landing, too. HE WALKED AWAY.

  • In New Zealand we are taught to close the throttle immediately when suffering from total or partial engine failure while making a forced landing. Reason for this is if your making your approach to a paddock / field / runway with a partial engine failure, and suddenly your engine gives completely, you'll find yourself in a lot of trouble. Better of making a glide approach that doesn't rely on the limited power the engine may be producing

  • @modestmoofan Yep. Navy trains the same way. Secure your engine and ride a glide profile.

  • airspeed kills you, experience saves you.

  • Since the plane had a tail-cam, I would prefer to watch the footage instead of the interview TYVM.

  • why in the hell didn't he roll upright and land with the wheels facing down? Freak'n showoff!

  • @tailwheelflier

he landed upright but the wheels got deeper into the soft mud on landing which made the plane flip over.

  • I do have Respect for that man!

  • @phippsa3 lol does everybody know that video? i watched it one time with a friend, i whas on the toilet 2 hours really.

  • @phippsa3 or even peanut butter..... oh right....

  • @mryellow123 haha just wrong!!

  • @phippsa3 i can watch it eating a brunch with chocolate pudding on the side :)

  • @dezzertv haha, i cant!!

  • @phippsa3 so do I

  • @phippsa3 so can i :)

  • @phippsa3

Chuch Norris can go over Nigra Falls in nothing but a wet suit drinking red bull and not spill a drop.

  • Most mi van? :) Hanyatt repülve bravúrozott (szokása szerint) csak itt megtúrta a mezőgazdasági művelésű táblát is közben és megúszta? (Ezexerint.) :)

  • yeaaaaa man he landed just down the street from me :O

  • "And ze pruh-pella wuz....dah-MEESHED..."

  • ааааеееееаааатв ааааеееее

  • Chuck Norris pointed at the plane and said 'BANG!'

  • hes got skills!!... even landed down the track line in the filed

  • Peter Besenyei is Chuck Norris' long lost brother =P

  • i thought in one of those planes you could rotate at the last second maybe 60 miles a hour and land on a dime dead stick

  • @onefugowie Depends if that dime is boggy and covered in mud.

  • Peter won 393WR group gold medal (;-)) reserved to all pilots that can landing upside down. Each member of 393WR have a plane with canopy and rudder scraped!

    Go Peter! You are #1!

    Cristiano Giustozzi 393WR Foligno Italy

  • @MMMA3STROHD How is that selfish, self preservation is more like it. A plane can be replace human life not so much.

  • @MMMA3STROHD And you're arrogant and idiotic enough to say something like that?

Its the most important thing, that he is okay.

  • @MMMA3STROHD yOUR A PITYFUL CHILD WITH A CARROT FOR A KNOB!

  • @MMMA3STROHD Would it be better if he died and the plane was ok?

  • @MMMA3STROHD haha that was funny. Because thats what JOKES are. They are funny. thumbs up to ya.

  • besenyei is hero:)

  • hahaha..the plane's way of protesting against the BOOOOORRRRRIIIIINNNGGGGG ferry flight....

Plane says: Come on! Pull some Gs dude!! What?! No?! Fine..i quit...!!

  • Poor plane :'( Glad Besenyei made it through.

  • The instrument panel on the video shows that there is oil pressure, but there is no gas on either tank. The fuel pressure is also zero. Also, the transponder is set to STBY when it should be set to ALTITUDE.

This video is fake. The crash, well, who knows at this point?

  • Comment removed

  • @cesario7777 On the video the shots of dashboard are illustrations. (obviously not taken during the emergency ... or?) Where can you see ANY oil-pressure? Engine RPM=0, so you can not read the indicator which is ZERO, just the pattern above :)

    Altitude=cca. airport. Flight time=00:00:00.

This shots were taken on the GROUND after the crash (exhausted Tank for portage), or at any other happening, stopped engine, before tanking.

And Yes, DO NOT activate 7700 on transponder if STBY on ground.

  • @cesario7777

are you retarded? do you really think there would be a camera filming the dash in the crash? its after, just for the show...and was going to say the same thing as bcs62

  • @skat0r :) Cesario777 is not retarded (I assume) :) Cheers!

  • ze plane

  • thank god hes not dead

  • now only if i knew what the hell this guy is saying....

  • what if I want to do this in some point in my life "WICH I WANT!!!!" what do I have to do?? do I need to own an Extra?? or is there a "pre-league" for this does some one know??

  • @jorgemdllin I hope you mean participate in the Air Race, not land upside-down in a field? I don't know how to enter the air race but perhaps a good place to start would be your local air-field and begin your pilot training.

  • @ILOVETIKKAMASALA lol of course not that way haha just racing dude, I see but I couldnt find that kind of training here so far but will see.....thanks man!

  • @jorgemdllin I think you need to have a low clearance level for aerobatics. but probably begin with air shows and aerobatic racing.

  • @shess0501 no not at all... he said in the video right at the end of the landing that it flips and takes damage...

  • Peter is the Man! We wish him all the best from Canada!

  • @shess0501 I think he landed upright, but the plane toppled over and flipped upside down, usually happens when these tail draggers decelerates fast . Check the landing gears are damaged which is not possible if he landed upside down. And landing upside down would have killed him or injured him badly.

  • @cnsapam I completely agree.

I just watched this video: /watch?v=f7mrHxCLzlw&feature=relmfu

It's a similar plane, and he almost flips it over in a similar fashion simply from braking hard while taxiing!

  • @cnsapam orrrr landed upside up :) haha

  • He's HUNGARIAN, AND HE'S A LEGEND, SOMETHING TO REPRESENT HUNGARY FINALLY

  • @Snissassaforlife Zsa Zsa, and goulash.

  • @Snissassaforlife Just watch: Ford T model, ballpoint pen, rubik's cube, hydrogen bomb, safety match, helicopter, dynamo, carburator, computer, windows ops coperation(Charles Simonyi),soda water, hollywood film industry(Adolph Zukor),vitamin-c,Dr phd Ignácz Semmelweis "savior of all mothers" invented the antiseptic methods for first time at the hospitals,Kálmán Kandó inventor&constructor of the first electric locomotive,"glass concrete",and many more! And this is only a small part of the inventions.

  • If there were a stall alarm... it would say.."CHA CHING!!!"

  • @trev050175 omg..lockerz

  • Ill buy that plane for anything under 20,000 without repairs I dont care

  • Respect to this pilot!!

  • He flipped after landing dumbshits.

  • I like how everyone's all "wtf?... upside down?...."

  • I agree. None on earth have made it landing upside down like him

    He is the man

  • @sakornno wrong. look in youtube. there is a guy with a pitts that has a gear on the top wing that lands and takes off upside down. lol.

  • Red bull pilots like to keep the spectators entertained, so if the engine stops, the only stunt left is to land upside down.

  • love Peter Besenyei, one of the best pilots

check out my spitfire video, where i kill my dog upon landing oooops

  • did he actually land it upside down on purpose or did he flip on the ground?

  • What did he say right at the end????

  • @Daneyboi lmao dunno

  • @Daneyboi I think he said that for budapest he would have the plane again.

  • ok, 1. stall warning horns in small planes are mechanical, there is no "circuit breaker". 2. the warning horn was probably like a "no oil pressure" warning horn, as the airplane was not in a stalled condition, anyway. and 3. I doubt that these planes have stall warning horns because pilots as good as these guys can feel when they are about to stall, and aerobatics planes generally have an AOA indicator, which is much better for detecting an approaching stall.

    Source(s) -Pilot

  • Of course there's a stall alarm on these, but it's manual, so when you're about to stall, you have to push the button to make the alarm sound.

  • They do have a stall warning on them, but the pilots pull the ciruit breaker when doing aerobatics as its distracting

  • There's no stall alarm on a freaking aerobatic airplane, use some common sense people. The sound heard during this video was a SOUND EFFECT - it's the same sound effect used during the air races when someone gets a penalty. It's NOT REAL people, it's just a SOUND EFFECT.

  • @HotRodKush I fly an aerobatic plane that has a stall horn, zlin 242L.

  • @HotRodKush Agreed, I have some flight experience and they make a lot of shit up.

  • Plane still not bad shape GREAT LUCK, this guy has some good angels watching him!

  • he's my favourite. I'm too hungarian

  • Red Bull plane, that's why - should have been flying a Monster!

  • @jbrabec22

There are no Monster Energy airplanes. They aren't cool enough to have an airplane. lol

    Same goes for Rockstar.

  • No, that is not the stall warning. it is most likely the crash alarm at the airport to alert the rescue response teams

  • Gotta love the dubbed in alarm bell. This is an airplane, not a nuclear factory in the midst of a meltdown hahaha. Too bad really, he probably made a good landing. If i had to guess, i would say the wheel-pants filled with mud or something, and it flipped on him.

  • @thewritingwriterof89 It's the stall alarm.

  • Uh, I don't think so lol I'm a pilot and I know what a stall alarm sounds like. This isn't a stall alarm because most stall alarms are operated, and sounded, by a small reed, usually in the wing somewhere, where a difference in air pressure vibrates the material, thus providing a semi-accurate indication of when you are about to stall. So in other words, they are usually not electronic, such as in the vid.

  • Yes I'm sure there is no such thing as an electronic stall warning. 747s and f-35s use a small 'semi-accurate' reed...

  • @noster88 yes right stall alarm on an aerobatic plane that sure makes a lot of sense...

  • No I'm pretty sure this plane in nuclear powered and has those alarms. :p

  • well, you never know...

  • OOhhh - I'd love to get my hands on it.....

  • I don't believe any of these planes have that facility. The less kit/weight the better

  • @madman2swords Yea this plane is An MXS-R There based at my airport. I saw this plane the day it came in it looked Awful, but they got it fixed and he's in it agian

  • You have to land these things fairly fast as no flaps - stall is prob about 59Kts - so it was prob quite an impact when she went over.

  • Stall speed is around 75 kts and the plane went over when the plane was almost stopped. This type of plane is a total differnt animal when landing without and engine, the stall speed goes up even more when there is zero thrust.

  • I thought it would stall faster - I haven't tried any deadstick landings in the Extra (the owners would not like it!) but I know if you pull the power back quickly the 3 blader is like a huge airbrake in such a light aircraft. They also seem to go from being very "slippery" to a high ROD. The elevators do remain very effective though down to a low speed.

  • ¿Don't they have the possibility to feather the prop in these aircrafts? Just curious.

  • Péter te vagy a legjobb!!! Repülésben te vagy a példaképem!!!! TE!

  • tail dragger landings are the hardest. On an uneven plowed field?!?? surprised that was all the damage...

    good pilot.

  • Keep in mind he didn't just land in a field. He dead-stick landed in a field. He couldn't use thrust to control descent at all. And, on the ground when slowing down, there was no prop wash to help the elevator. So easy for wheels or wheel pants to get stuck, and over he went.

  • @Kokosiak1

can't you stop flaming hungarians? no one cares his english, except you.

    grow up!

  • I am sorry, I didnt meant it in rude way. That was just a notice...

  • that will buff right out.

  • i was working @ the air port en got radio to push in a wrecked plane from the gate into hanger ch2a that plane got fucked right up the engine was compleatly sized there was like 100lbs of dirt inside the rudder was jamed was a huge mess

  • Comment removed

  • Other than a fire the pilot will almost always try to land the plane, because he also fears hitting the vertical stab upon ejecting, plus the unpredictable damage an unmanned plane may do. His plane flipped because the wheel pant(s) probably caught irregular ground, like the side of a plowed trough. It happened at the end of his landing when the plane was no longer pitched back for touch down and prop clearance. They are very closely balanced in order to be capable of the stunts they perform.

  • lucky man .. but not just lucky .. he's skilled and experienced

  • Peter Besenyei is a legend.

  • I feel very sorry for this man, his airplane ruined..

  • 又又返事も出来ません!(-"-)!

    と言うか英語が解りません。>:<。

    何で、日本語?もやって戴けたら自分は、もっと楽しめるのですがね。て自分は、英語が苦手なだけです。

  • did he land upside down?!

  • Probably not. Quite often during crash landings on non-paved surface, the plane flips over.

  • Peter Besenyei is my flying Hero his easy going style an manner make him the best ambassodore for this sport

Im happy he was ok after this

  • It's not so bad, most of those scratches will polish righ out. ;-D

  • Peter makes me feel proud to be hungarian...

  • Peter is one of my favourites, I'm glad he was OK

  • who do u think u r? if ur that gd go compete in the air rance

  • dude this guy is one of the best pilots in the world and if he couldn't land the plane undamaged NO ONE WOULD. Btw you try landing a plane on a field that has just been plowed... In the best case you would rip off you're landing gear in the worst you could crash head on and die...

  • Once the engine fails; any obligation you normally feel to protect the plane goes out the window. The plane broke your trust so there is no reason to try to save it. We teach this to students because pilots have died trying to save the plane vs. ditching the plane and protecting themselves.

    -Robert, CFII

  • That's a silly position. The plane doesn't think, it isn't responsible for mechanical failure. It didn't "break your trust".

On the other hand, human life is *always* more important than equipment. That should always be the driving force in any flight decision, not just when something goes wrong.

  • strange no crash markings around the flipped plane at all, must be off camera...poor guy...

  • The reason why his Airplane is lying inverted in the field is that the prop got ground contact and this made the plane flip over

  • That is possible but I would suspect the small tires made for hard surfaces. After all, if the prop touched the ground, he was allready tipping over beyond a normal amount. If you ever see a Maule or other plane used on soft dirt, they have huge low pressure tires designed to roll on soft and rough ground.

  • Also calles "Tundra-wheels" ;)

  • Peter Besenyei is a fantastic pilot. He would be someone you would like to have on board in a emergency..

  • Te vigyázzz végre magadra mert még szüksége van Magyarországnak reád
