@vergruizerful I know it's been 8 months since this comment but I couldn't agree more. In fact the first time I heard this OST I though Mr. Jones collaborated with Kanno on this; which wouldn't surprise me... and still I think it sounds a lot like a older Heathen-esque Bowie.

This song is hauntingly beautiful. It is poetically hurtful, yet encased in a hopefulness that explains our mortality. Each time I listen to it, I can only wonder how many people are truly touched by this tune because of it's ability to convey such strong and raw emotion.

No. That was sung by Steve Conte; another marvelous musician. I've noticed that Yoko Kanno used Steve Conte, Ilaria Graziano, and Gabriela Robin, for both GiTS and Wolf's Rain. Scott Matthews was only featured on GiTS OSTs. He sang a few songs, including "Beauty is Within Us", "Lithium Flower", and "The End of All You Know."

Phew. I really love Kanno's music.
