its not just the style of play, dead space 2 is defiantly one hell of an addictive horror on the xbox/ps3 and capcom has not released the full potential of resident evil (the closest is RE4) but anyway could dead space be the future of horror games!

The Plasma Cutter is all you really need, however if you haven't upgraded it by this time you might be in problems. No health means a definite problem. Either try to get through on skill alone, or start over. You know better now so you should be able to make it without too many problems.
